Yup she's drunk, she manage to stay awake despite having three bottles of cheap beer that Yami buys.

She drink a lot these past few days, in the tavern alone or with Vanessa, her new Best friend or with her members or alone in her office or in her room.

Right now she's drinking with Vanessa in the tavern who was watching her with a worried eyes.

"You should stop drinking Captain Charlotte, you have paperwork tomorrow" Vanessa said.

"F*ck paperwork! I need to drink to occupy my mind" Charlotte said. "Also call me Charlotte, aren't we best friends now?" Charlotte continued, now crying.

Vanessa sighs and shook her head. This is her fault, If she didn't push her to drink with her a week ago, she will never be like this. She thought it will help the Captain to calm down and move forward, like she always do to herself.

It's been a month since that moment, she felt pity and bitterness for this Icy Queen. That was the first time she saw the Captain of Blue Rose cry and worried about someone. The first time they drink is for a rivalry. After hearing the confession with the others in the room where her Captain and the Vice Captain of Black Bulls are in dying state, she was proud of her for speaking out loud what she really feel but we'll her Captain, Yami Sukehiro, the densest and dumbest of them all, didn't heard it and she saw the embarrassment and pain in the Blue Rose Captain eyes before she passed out.

"Why is he like this, it hurts" Charlotte said.

Vanessa look at her, remains silent as she listens to the girl on the opposite sit in front of her, ranting.

"Stupid me, I know this will happen" Charlotte said and drink "you know, sometimes I wonder what will be my life of Yami didn't saved me that day, what if it's other man? Well Fuegoleon and Nozel is not bad! Why him? Did I do something in my past life to suffer like this?" Charlotte cried .

"This curse" she started again and look at Vanessa. "This shitty curse! This cu- hiccups- curse! That shitty curse" She continues now sobbing.

"You know what, I'm done! Let's act like that confession didn't happen okay?" Charlotte said and stand up.

Vanessa rush to her side and hold her and help her walk.

"I love him" Vanessa heard her whisper, "I love him"

"Are you sure he didn't hear me?" sobbing again,"Why is he avoiding me?"

"He's not avoiding you, you didn't see him in a week Char" Vanessa said trying to calm her down.

Now they're in the middle of the field on the way to her base and Vanessa felt Charlotte stop and pulled herself away from her and sit down in the field, crying her again.

"Vanessa help me" she sobs "help me take my feeling away here" Charlotte pointed at her heart.

After the many times of accompanying her in drinking. This is the first time this happened so Vanessa didn't know what to respond.

"I wish I didn't he didn't saved me, I wish it was other man or woman who saved me that time" she cried " For 10 years, just him! No development in our relationship, we're just a colleague! Why him" Vanessa heard her and she sit down next to her and lean Charlotte head on her shoulder when she felt Charlotte curled with her and hugged her, which she hugged back and shush her.

"Help me Vanessa help me" Vanessa was now crying, she didn't know what to do. Well even her will think that her Captain respond to Charlotte was like a rejection, her best friend deserve better.

"Charlotte-san I don't know how to" Vanessa cried. "I never been in your place yet but I'm here to comfort you okay?"

"I love him"

"I know"

"I saved him"

"Yes you saved him"

"I promised to saved him"

"Yes and we saved him also Captain William"

"Why him?, I'm so stupid" Charlotte cried again again, "I mean" she started standing up and look down to Vanessa, trying to balance herself, "I know this will happen it's so stupid that sometimes, s-sometimes you will get rejected"

"He didn't rejected you"

"Exactly! He didn't hear me!" She yelled at her, " I yelled my love for him, wishing for him not to die when he is in verge of dying, knowing that he will not hear me and nothing will happen. Well what happened? see!? No development, nothing at all! All I got is Thank you! And then asked me what did I say before coming back from passed out, pulling him back to life before almost dying! I'm stupid that I used that opportunity to tell him what I really feel , which is a wrong timing! He's unconscious how will he hear me!" She sobbing looking at Vanessa.

"For ten years! For ten years knowing that I love him and I'm in love with him with a small possibility that he will feel the same and yet I didn't even manage to say it to him where I know he will hear me! But I think even if he hear me say those word! He will never understand because he is dense and a big buff stupid man who thinks I hate him!"

"I'll agree on he's stupid and dense"

"See? I'm stupid right?" Charlotte said.

Flashback (Vanessa POV)

"I came all to save you... what's the matter with you!?" Vanessa heard the Blue Rose Captain said to her unconscious captain.

"Get up!Where did your usual insolence go? Don't die! You idiot!"

Vanessa side eyed the Female Captain when she heard-

"I love you"

Vanessa eyes widen, felt love of the Blue Rose Captain to the Black Bulls Captain.

"I love you Yami! Please don't die!"

"Char-" Vanessa cut herself when a portal appeared behind Charlotte, a little far away from them. She look at Charlotte who still sobbing. And guess who is it? It's her Captain, who immediately saw them and walk towards them.

"I hate Yami" Charlotte said sadly and Vanessa saw her Captain froze and look at the Blue Rose Captain back.

"How dare he! He's just a buff guy!" Charlotte said calming down after sobbing. "How dare he be so dense then pull stunts on me , saying he cared for me, and then drink my cheap beer in the star festival two years ago!"

Vanessa snorted at Charlotte rants right now. A second ago she's crying and now she's sounding cute and the face of her Captain at the back of Charlotte is funny too and she knows he is confused.

" Why you laughing!? It's true!" Charlotte said and notice that her best friend is not looking at her but on something on her back so she slowly turned around and gasps.

"My crush!" She whispered yell to Vanessa who was drying her tears and nodded at her.

Yami walked towards them and stop Infront of Charlotte.

"Flirt with him" Vanessa whispered to Charlotte and Charlotte look at at her and pouted.

"Oh Charlotte perfect, you're here If it's okay to talk to you about what you sai- hey you drunk?" Yami asked.

"Am not" Charlotte said looking up at him, pouting.

"Captain! Since you're here, would you mind take care of her? Oh her base is only walking distance now so I think since you're are her and you have a big body, you can do it for me- oh" Vanessa said as he tried to walk away from them, distancing herself by her Captain raging mana.

"WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING HMMM?" Yami said and grabbed Vanessa's head.

"Uhm well, uhhh yeah I need to pee! Yes hehe" Vanessa said not looking at her Captain's eye and Yami put her down.

"You know, Prickly Queen can't handle her alcohol" Yami said lecturing Vanessa while looking at Charlotte looking at him blushing. "Didn't I tell you? Don't push yourself Prick- hmmp!"

Vanessa and Yami eyes widen when Charlotte leaned up and kissed Yami.

"Don't tell me what to do when you almost died weeks ago" Charlotte said flirting.

Yami's head was steaming now, Vanessa's sure about it as she saw her Captain looking on nothing white blushing face with a steaming smoke abouve his head.

"These two better end up together" Vanessa when and turned and heard Charlotte asking for a kiss again and heard her Captain said no and he should walk her to her base, let her sleep and talk tomorrow morning.

"Stay with me tonight" Charlotte begged cutely to Yami with a pout.

Yami smiled and pat her head and catching her as he felt her ki that she was passing out.

"Well, looks like this is will be a long talk with Prickly Queen" Yami said as he carried her to her Squad base, them welcomed by her family.
