Adrien's POV

I landed on Marinette's balcony and I saw her laughing at Tikki who was flying around the room. I smiled knowing Tikki was keeping her happy. I wasn't going to press about the near akumatization. I tapped on her trapdoor and she came over and opened it, smiling. I smiled at her and crawled in. Tikki stopped flying around and looked at me, expectantly. I stared at her, confused and she sighed. I snapped my fingers figuring out what she wanted. "Sorry Tikki. You want to see Plagg." She nodded and smiled. I detransformed and she tackled him. 

"I GET TO GO ON THE FIELD TRIP!!!" She has holding Plagg and flying around and he was getting dizzy. As if that wasn't enough, she gave him a kiss on the cheek and that turned Plagg the color of Tikki. Me and Adrien started laughing which died down after a bit. He reached into his bag and gave me the notes from class. "Thanks." "Your welcome. Uh, this may not be the best time but, um...." "What?" "Ok. So, this morning my father talked to me and um, he wanted me to break up with you." My eyes widened and Tikki and Plagg stopped talking and flew over to help Adrien in case I broke down. Which I probably would. 

"He told me that uh, we should break up." My eyes widened. "W-what?" His eyes didn't meet mine. "When, the magazine published the sales were split in half and people didn't approve of our relationship. And to fix that he said to break up with you and thinks that our sales could have doubled if it was Lila and he wishes I was dating Lila instead." Tears filled my eyes. "So, you came to tell me  that we have to break up?" He shook his head. "No. I actually yelled at him for saying that. I just came to  tell you because it was better to tell you than let you find out on your own." I nodded and blinked to hold back tears. 

I was processing what had just been told to me. Why did life do this to me? Out of all the people in the world it had to be me. "Mari? Are you mad at me or something?" I shook my head. "No, I just... I need to think about this. But, you don't have to leave." He nodded and I gave him a hug. "I'm sorry, that this happened to you, Adrien. I'm so sorry." "This isn't your fault Marinette." I pulled away and gave him a kiss. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I put my head on his chest. 

"Also, Adrien, I don't think I can make patrol tonight. I have to be at Alya's tonight to help her babysit her sisters. I promised her on Friday." He nodded. "Ok, then quick afternoon patrol then you can get ready to go to her house and I'll do patrol tonight." I nodded. We transformed and jumped onto my balcony and to the Eiffel tower. "So, you go your direction and I go mine." He nodded and we went our ways. Nothing was going on. There were no akuma attacks or anything so, patrol was quick. 

We landed on my balcony and I went into my room and detransformed. I gave him a quick peck on the lips and he smiled and left. I went to my closet and grabbed an outfit and then, I let Tikki do my hair. 

I liked my hair wavy or curled rather then straight. I just thought it looked prettier that way and because when, it was straight it reached past my ass. When, it was wavy or curled it reached my lower back. Tikki flew into my purse and I left the bakery and made my way to Alya's house. As I was walking, girls were glaring at me and whispering about me. I brushed them off and continued to Alya's. 

I got there and I knocked on the door and Alya opened it. She kissed my cheeks and I kissed hers. I walked in and Ella and Etta tackled me. I stumbled a bit but, managed to stay upright. "MARINETTE!" "Hey guys!" I gave them both a hug and the four of us walked into the living room. Alya's sister Nora, had a boxing match and her parents were out on a date so, she needed to babysit and I volunteered to help her. 

There was food in the kitchen and games out in the living room. I plopped my behind on the couch and Alya sat next to me. "So, what do we want to do first?" "GAMES!" The twins were excited and I couldn't help but laugh. "Ok. So do you want to play twister?" They ran to the twister box and got everything out. "Me versus you girl." "You know it, Als." We walked over to the mat and got on either side. Ella and Etta were on spinner duty. "Right hand, blue." We put our right hand on blue. 

"Left leg, yellow." We did yellow. I was flexible, thanks to being Ladybug but, Alya on the other hand wasn't having such an easy time. "G-girl, *huff* how do *huff* you *huff* do that?" I shrugged. "I'm just flexible, Alya. Now, whats the next game?" "Monopoly." I grabbed the box and set it up. We played through out the entire evening and had a bunch of laughs. We ended up talking about Ladybug and Chat Noir. I don't know how, but we did. "Mari, did I show you the picture I got of Ladybug and Chat Noir while, they were out earlier?" I shook my head.

She scrolled through her phone and showed me the picture. I felt heat rise to my face. In the picture it showed, Ladybug with her legs wrapped around Chat's waist and him pressing her against one of the beams on the Eiffel Tower, kissing. We both thought we were high enough! "How did you get a photo that high up, Als?" "Nino let my borrow his new drone. I was able to connect me phone to it through bluetooth and he could snap pictures on it and they would get saved on my phone." I nodded. 

"Now, what I don't get is why you are blushing? It's not like your Ladybug or something." "Second hand embaressment." She nodded understanding. She put her phone away and Ella yawned. "Is it their bedtime?" Alya looked at the clock. "Well past." I picked up Ella and Alya picked up, Etta. We put them in there bed and tucked them in bed. We turned off the lights and silently walked out of the room. 

"I guess I should go." "Alright. See you tomorrow?" "Yup." I gave her a hug and left. I was going to go to school tomorrow whether people like me or not.
