Marinette's POV

I opened my music app and scrolled through it. I never really paid much attention to it but, I feel like music could help me right now. I saw a song called, 'Beautiful by Christina Aguilera'. I pressed on it and let it play.

I smiled and Tikki flew to my phone and pressed the 'like button' for the song. "I think it is a good song, Marinette! It is SUPER encouraging!" I laughed and smiled at her. "I like it too, Tikki." There were songs just like it so, I let those play and ended up liking those songs as well.

Tikki was flying around dancing to the song while, I was giggling at the kwami's antics.

I remembered this song from when, I turned on the radio in my room. (A/N: Chapter 3.) I smiled and let the rest of the songs play.

When, I was done listening I was in a really good mood. It was bright out so, I went on my balcony and looked around. I saw people hanging out with their friends and little kids playing with their parents at the park. I felt a pang of sadness in my heart but, it shook it off. I was not going to spoil my good mood. 

I turned my head the other way and saw Adrien at the far part of he park by he lake, doing a photoshoot. And Lila was there. He looked extremely uncomfortable and when, they weren't modeling he kept looking at the bakery. His eyes flickered to my balcony and he looked at me. 

I smiled and waved. He smiled and waved back. His photographer yelled something at him and he looked at him and shrugged. I got an idea and raced downstairs to the kitchen. I got some croissants  and pastries, I baked this morning because I woke up early and put them in a bag. 

I put my hair in a messy bun and put on my jacket. Tikki flew into my purse andI put some pastries in there for me and her. I ran out the door and to the park. Adrien was sitting on the bench so, I crept up behind and covered his eyes with my hands. He jumped and I burst out laughing. He crossed him arms and pouted. "Meanie." I stuck tongue out at him. I held out the bag of treats that were for him. 

"Here. I baked them this morning." His eyes lit up and he grabbed the bag. He grabbed a cookie and stuffed it in his mouth. "I wove it! Fank you, Pwincess!" I knew he meant, 'I love it! Thank you, Princess!'. I giggled and wiped the crumbs off the corner of his mouth. He swallowed the cookie and pecked my cheek. "I am really happy you brought these. I only had breakfast today. I spent most of lunch with you in the principal's office, taking you home, and worrying about you." I shook my head. 

"Adrien, you really worry about me too much." He shrugged. "I always worry about you." I rolled my eyes and opened my mouth when, a voice interrupted us. It was Lila. "Adrien! The break is over! Come on." I saw him clench his jaw and he sighed and handed me the bag. "Can you save these till' the end of the photoshoot, please?" I nodded. "Sure." "Thanks Ma-" "Adrien! Com- Oh! Hi Marinette." Lila had her jaw clenched and was gritting her teeth. 

"I thought you weren't feeling well." I nodded. "I was but, I thought some fresh air would do me some good." She nodded and turned to Adrien. "Come on. We have to finish the photoshoot. I think we still have to do the swimsuits." I was super confused. It was winter. Why would you wear a swimsuit in winter? Adrien noticed my face. "It is for the places that it is Summer, where there are Agreste Brand stores." I nodded. That made a bit more sense. 

I smiled. "I'll see you after. Have fun!" Lila dragged him off and he went to his dressing room. I walked closer to the shoot area and sat on a bench. "Mrs. Dupain Cheng. I didn't expect to see you here." I jumped and turned around. It was Nathalie. "Hi Ms. Sancoeur." "I am very sorry to here about your parents. I hope you are okay." Her voice was sympathetic which, surprised me but, I still smiled. "Thank you. I am fine, though." She nodded and her eyes flickered to Lila who was flirting with Adrien and frowned. "I wasn't surprised to hear that Lila was saying very horrible things about you and to you but, it was the physical abuse that surprised me. Mr.Agreste was more surprised than me and was furious."  

I nodded. Adrien came out of his dressing room in just swimming trunks that showed his 8 pack and I felt heat rise to my face. Sure I had seen him in a skin tight suit in all but, this was different. He wasn't wearing a mask and stuff. Nathalie noticed my face. "You like him. Don't you?" I nodded. "Yeah, I do." "Why?" I didn't hesitate. "Because, he's Adrien. Not the Adrien that most people see. The real Adrien. The Adrien that is, shy, kind, a sense of humor, puns, a true gentleman. The one that has eyes that sparkle when, he is happy. The genuine smile he has when, he is with his friends. That is the Adrien I like." Nathalie looked stunned. 

"I-i have never heard anybody describe Adrien like that. I must say, I am very shocked. Lila didn't even say something near as close to that with Mr.Agreste. She only said a fraction of what you said. A very small fraction." I nodded. "I can believe that. But, I am wondering, why is Lila modeling with Adrien if, Mr.Agreste is mad at her? Wouldn't he have found another female model?" She nodded. 

"Yes, he would have but, it was on such a short notice and he is trying to find a new model for Thursday but, we can't find one. Actually.... can you model with Adrien for today?" I was shocked. "I-wel-er-um.... I guess." She nodded and smiled. "Wonderful. I will let Adrien and Lila know. Come with me." I stood up and followed her. Adrien's face lit up when, he saw me. "Hey Mari!" He waved and headed over. "Is something wrong, Nathalie?" She shook her head. "No. Actually, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind having Miss Marinette model with you instead of Lila?" Adrien nodded and smiled. 

"I wouldn't mind. I'll get Lila really quick." He ran over to Lila and she came over with him. "Yes, Ms. Sancoeur?" "Lila, I wanted to let you know that Marinette will be modeling with Adrien instead of you, today. Mr.Agreste was not pleased with your behavior to her at all. He has requested that you come see him tomorrow afternoon at 3:00." Lila was not pleased. "What! Bu-" "No buts, Miss Rossi. Now, you can stay but please don't interrupt or you can leave and have your toddler tantrum." Lila glared at me and walked away to a bench and sat down fuming.  

Adrien looked ecstatic. "Adrien, I need you to go update Vincent on his while I go show Marinette her dressing room." He nodded and I followed Nahalie. 

Adrien's POV

I ran over to Vincent and tapped his shoulder. "Vincent, we are going to have a somebody else model with me because of a few things." He looked confused. "Why? I thought Miss Lila was doing great." I inwardly cringed. "There were a few mishaps earlier today and my father is not pleased with her." He nodded, understanding. "Okay, but we will need to re do all the photos that you did with Miss Rossi." "I'm okay with that." I really was. I got to spend more time with Marinette.

He nodded and started going through the photos on his camera. I went over to a bench and sat down and waited for Marinette. She came out in a red one piece and a little bit of makeup that brought out her bluebell eyes. I walked over and placed a soft kiss on her knuckles. "You look lovely." It took a lot not to place a kiss on her lips. I needed to keep in mind that we wanted to keep our relationship secret to the public. I felt like it wasn't going to be secret for long with Vincent as our photographer. 

I led her over to him and introduced her. "Vincent this is Marinette, one of my friends from school." It killed me to say that. "Lovely to meet you Madame." Marinette smiled. "Nice to meet you too, Vincent." "Now, I need you 2 to stand over there and Marinette I need you to take Adrien's hand and Adrien act like you are taking her into the water." 

We since we were at the part of the park where the lake is and nobody is around so, our photoshoot is nice and quiet. Marinette grabbed my hand and I pulled her toward the lake acing like we were running and facing my head toward her. Vincent snapped a bunch of pictures. "Mama's spaghetti! That is the face I need! All we needed was the girl!" Marinette giggled and Vincent gave us more poses to do and Marinette and I kept changing our outfits. 

We were on our last outfit and I was bracing myself for Marinette knowing she would look like a goddess. I thought I was ready so, when she came out I was super confident until I saw what she was wearing. She had on a black and green two piece on the top it had green paw prints and the bottom had green strips on the top and bottom. And the fact that she was super toned, slender and had abs really weren't helping. 

Heat rose to my face and I knew if you put me next to a stop sign we'd be identical twins. Marinette came over and waved her hand in my face. "You okay, Adrien? Your face is red." I nodded. "I'm fine. But, did you have to wear that? I really was not ready for you to come out wearing that." She giggled. "Yes. I have too. Unless, you want Lila to wear it." The heat in my face disappeared and my face paled at the thought of Lila wearing that. 

"Come on. Vincent needs us." We went over and Vincent clapped his hands. "So, since this is a couple romance/date photoshoot, I will need Adrien to go over to the lake and then I will give you further instruction." We nodded and went over. "Now Adrien, put your hands on her hips and Marinette put your hands on Adrien's chest." We did so, and I looked at her eyes.  I really needed to kiss her right now. And Vincent wasn't helping. 

"Now, I need you both guys to kiss." I looked at Marinette for approval and she nodded. That was all I needed. I crashed my lips on hers. She kissed back almost immediately. Vincent was snapping pictures like the world was ending. Her hands latched around my neck and I pulled her closer. We pulled away because of lack of oxygen and Vincent cheered. "Magnificent!" Marinette was blushing really hard and I gave her a hug. "You were amazing, M'Lady." She was still extremely flustered. "I,uh, s-should probably go change." I laughed a little at her stuttering. I let her go and she went to her dressing room. 

I went to my dressing room and changed into my casuals. A blue shirt, black jeans and the jacket Marinette made. I walked out and saw Lila talking to Marinette and Nathalie. Marinette looked like she was going to cry and Nahalie was trying to calm down Lila and get her away from Marinette. I immediately ran over to them and grabbed Marinette's hand. "That is ENOUGH, Lila! Just stop." I glared at her. She scoffed. "I was just telling her the truth about things. You know like if she died nobody would miss her that kind of truth." I snapped. 

"SHUT UP, LILA! I would miss her. Alya and Nino would miss her. EVERYBODY would miss her! Just shut the actual fuck up and leave ALL of us alone!" She was pale and Marinette grabbed my hand which calmed me down almost instantly. I turned to Nathalie. "Call my father and tell him we are talking today. With Lila and her mother." Nathalie nodded. "Of course." She turned to Lila. "Please call your mother and ask her to come to the Agreste mansion today." Lila nodded and her hands were shaking as she got out her phone. 

I took Marinette to a bench and she sat down. Plagg popped out of the collar of my jacket. "Can I talk to Tikki?" Marinette nodded and smiled. He flew out of my jacket and into her purse. "Cookie?" Tikki offered one of her treats to Plagg.  "Just one bite." I was surprised Plagg accepted. "Are you okay, Bugaboo?" She nodded. "Yeah. I'll be fine. Here." She handed me the bag of treats from earlier and I accepted and split a cookie in half. "Here." She accepted and took a bite. 

Nathalie came over. "Adrien, Marinette. It is time to go."
