After trying to at least process what cruel mess Nooroo had mentioned, Gabriel knew that eventually he would have to do something.

Both about the case of his unexplainable admiration to the so called blue lady, and also about the case of his ill assistant.

"Maybe Jean would know!" The kwami suddenly exclaimed. "Didn't Miss Nathalie and him have a past? And doesn't she visit him even nowadays?"

"Yes." The tall man replied, having a rather disgusted look on his face while doing so.

He was never truly supportive of his assistant's relationship with the butler.

It appeared to bring him even closer to Audrey which was a nightmare for both the body and the soul, but it also appeared too logical of a relationship to the designer that he didn't approve.

After all, both were assistants.

However, something about Jean and his cold, constantly professional and polite attitude didn't strike the grey haired man as good.

His assistant was the same, so them being together was almost something like twins being together.

As if the male version of Nathalie had met the female version of Jean.

Anyway, as Gabriel shook his head out of the chaos that it was in, he focused back into reality.

"You want me to drive over to the hotel in the middle of the night?" He asked his floating friend.

"Well." The kwmai shrugged. "Only if you wish to find out more about your assistant, Master."

The designer sighed before he got up from his bed.

"I guess we'll go then." The grey haired man gathered all of his remaining strength before pulling out a coat from his closet to wrap himself in.

The light pijamas he was wearing wouldn't be enough.

With that being done, the tall man made his way towards the bedroom door and then down the stairs.

In just about twenty minutes they would arrive at the hotel.

Though before they had gotten to the destination, Gabriel had to call Audrey to make sure that Jean would be there.

"What do you need him for?" The woman's awful voice asked through the phone call.

"I need to ask him for a question." The designer replied, rubbing his tired eyes with one hand while the other held onto the wheel of his car.

"You can ask me too!" His boss returned, only annoying the already exhausted man.

"Audrey listen." He spat. "I need that skinny butler of a man to be in front of me in fifteen minutes, because if he isn't-"

"Calm down Mister Grumpy!" The woman laughed and cut him off. "The creature you want so badly is right next to me! He'll be there."

"Are you still working?!" Gabriel questioned, utterly confused as to why Jean was not in a completely separate part of the hotel as Audrey, how it usually was.

"Working." The woman repeated his words slowly. "The same way you work with your Nath thing at two in the morning."

"What?!" The designer didn't understand the obvious.

Even Nooroo was shaking his head and blocking his nonexistent ears while his Master cluelessly continued;

"Nathalie goes home!" He explained, completely unaware of his own stupidity at this point. "The latest she works is eight!"

"Right.." Audrey chuckled, her voice high and low, clearly under the influence of multiple different alcoholic beverages. "She works until eight and then fucks til nine. We know it!"

With that the woman had ended the call and left a horrid look upon the face of the tall man who was driving towards the hotel she owned.

"That's what she meant all along?" Gabriel turned to the butterfly beside him, deeply ashamed in a scarlet blush.

"I am afraid so." Nooroo sighed, watching as his owner became more and more red.

"Well at least you and me know that it is not true! Nathalie and I share no relationship of that sort!" The designer tried to keep his eyes from tearing up too.

All types of emotions were washing over him and he didn't know what to think.

He could've simply laughed it off, however, he felt the need to make defensive arguments in favor of himself right until they had arrived at the destination.

As soon as they did so, the silhouette of the butler became bright and clear in the car lights.

"Good evening." He greeted the one visible and other invisible creature so politely, the exact sound that the tall man despised.

There was only one more noise that Gabriel hated a little more than this, that being Audrey's greetings.

"Gabrikins!" She echoed everywhere.

The woman, wrapped in a black, silk bathrobe with gold edges walked towards them.

"Excuse the mess of a hair." She apologized dramatically. "I'm doing the night shift!" She laughed and grinned while looking at the butler for a split second.

"Right." Gabriel nodded with no emotions present on his face. "I need to talk to Jean alone."

"Oh what's this important. You wanna get on the night shift list too?"

"WHAT?!" Both men exclaimed.

"Relax you two!" She giggled, having the time of her life as she saw terror in their eyes. "I'm sure your Nath could give her place up on the night shift for you to jump in."

"Alright Audrey!" The designer interrupted her. "I'm not jumping on anything at anytime and neither is Nathalie. Only reason that I came here was to ask a question."

"You know phones exist mister medieval." The woman pointed a finger at the grey haired man's chest. Her nail piercing through the coat.

She still didn't stop her laugh, even though she lost her balance so bad that she ended up needing to be supported by Gabriel, onto whom she almost fell on.

"How many drinks did she have?" The tall man looked at the butler, who shook his head disapprovingly;

"As many as she could I think." Jean reached out to take his boss into his own hands, and then arms.
"Anyways." He sighed. "What was the question we are standing out in the cold for?"

"I wanted to ask if you knew where Nathalie lives."

"Oh now you want to be on her night shift!" The faint voice of Audrey yelled up while she began slowly drooling on her butler.

"I am not-" but before Gabriel could finish his sentence Jean had replied;

"I can't say."

"What?" The designer was shook. "You know it though?"

"I can't say."

"What do you mean? Either you know it or you don't! And if you do you better tell me because Nathalie doesn't appear to be in the best shape and I need to help her!"

"What?!" The butler's eyes widened. His heart suddenly jumped for a split second as he heard his ex partner had some kind of issue.

This issue sounding very bad based on how the grey haired man described it.

"What happened to her?" Jean questioned, however, Gabriel simply crossed his arms and didn't answer the dark haired man before him.

"I can't say." The designer mocked the man before him, obviously starting some upset in the other one.

"Don't say that!" He spat, but still keeping a calm and collected attitude, only his eyebrows being furrowed a little as he began to stare the tall man down.

"She is important to the both of us, so why not just tell me the address?" Gabriel wondered, manifesting the correct answer back, but he could only wish because the butler still shook his head 'no'.

"I promised her something." Jean explained while holding the limp and sleeping body of his boss tightly against himself. "I-I can't tell you because...this is important for her."

"What? Being sick?" The designer scoffed. "That's important?"

"No!" The butler's eyes searched for a way out. "Her and I have talked about this, and I know she isn't sick because-"

"Well what if she is sick!" Gabriel cut him off. "Just because five years ago when you two loved each other and she mumbled something, it doesn't mean that it still stands today! What if she is very unwell?! And you should know damn well that Nathalie hates asking for any help even if she is on the very verge of death.!" By now the designer was yelling at the top of his lungs and pointing straight at the face of the butler in front. "You out of all people Jean!" He shouted. "You should care for her! Care enough at least that you allow me to help."

"I'm sorry." Was all that the dark haired man could whisper back.

He lifted Audrey up from the ground and more securely into his arms before he began to walk away.

However, of course it wasn't that simple.

The tall man's hands reached right after the butler and grabbed his shoulder, making Jean turn around one last time to listen.

"If something bad happens to her, it is your fault!" Gabriel spat as he turned away and stormed off into his car, leaving everyone behind with tears in their eyes.

Though in contrast to the two men, Audrey only had a nightmare in her sleep.
