Part 5
"I've been waiting for this housewarming party, Ivy," Janna stated.
"I know! Well, it's finally here now. Order what you'd like," I responded.
"Sorry for bringing my boyfriend..and his sister...and his sister's boyfriend," she said guiltily.
"No worries! You guys can get what you'd like. Just don't make me broke though," I laughed. They nodded and continued their conversations.
"I noticed you're happier than usual, Ivy. Did something happen?"
"Not exactly..." I smiled.
"No way! Are you...in love?" she questioned, surprised. I gave her a guilty smile. "Oh my gosh! Who is it? Tell me, tell me, tell me!"
"Um, I can't..." I replied guiltily.
"Wait! Is it a character from one of your stories?" she asked, disappointed.
"Uhhh...yes,"
"I can't believe I thought he was someone real." She pouted.
"I wish he was real too..." I murmured.
"What did you say?" she asked, stuffing her face with desserts.
"Nothing! Enjoy your cake!" I replied and smiled a little.
. . .
"Those cheesecakes were delicious!" Janna expressed happily.
"I know, that's why I brought you there," I responded. "Anyways, I'm here. I'll see you tomorrow. Thanks for walking me home, hurry and go back. Don't make Anderson wait," I said as we arrived in front of my house.
"You're my best friend, it's no problem at all. If he cared about me, he wouldn't mind waiting hours for me. Anyways, bye." She walked backwards and waved at me with a smile on her face.
"Mikey..." I called out in a singsong voice. "I'm home. Where are you?" I looked around the empty house then went upstairs to my bedroom and turned on the lights to see Michael lying on the floor with his limbs wide open. "Oh my God! You scared me!" I exclaimed and sighed.
"That's the point," he replied with a wicked smile on his face.
I rolled my eyes and shook my head. "Don't do that to me ever again."
"What? But I love it when you get scared, it's cute." He chuckled. I glared at him playfully. "You're even cuter when you're mad." He winked.
"Oh really? Then maybe I should stay mad at you forever." He pouted and pretended to be sad. "Is it just me, or are you lighter than before?"
"What do you mean?" he asked, confused.
"Never mind, maybe it's just the lighting," I remarked then got into bed, and he joined me.
