I watched her play the poor doctor as she seduced him. I made a mental note to stay far away from her on deep levels, she was one of those girls that knew they were beautiful and wasn't afraid to flaunt it.

"Are you happy?" I asked her as the doctor rushed out of the room.

"What?!" She asked turning to me, a smile on her face.

"I said are you happy? Were you happy that you toyed with the doctor's feeling?" I asked her, demanding an answer.

"Well, I am not the one that said he shouldn't see past the facade." She said, the smile no longer on her face.

"What does that even mean?" I asked her, confused and a bit amused at the same time. I didn't tag her as one of those girls that loved guys seeing their inner being.

I mean as weird as it would seem, I was one of those guys that recognise girls for who they really are on meeting but with her, it would later seem I was actually blind to it.

"Nothing. Errhm, you ready to leave?" She replied as I nodded.

"Yea, I should probably just tell the guys to get ready. I'll leave you to packing or something, I'll be outside." I said, leaving the room.

"Sure." She replied.

It was no hassle leaving the hospital but getting to her house wasn't the same story. Tutu and Lewa rided with me while Ayo and Samson followed closely in a car not far from us.

"Hmmm, Lewa..." I started, recalling the favour Richard asked me the previous night.

"Yes." She replied.

"Nothing." I said, remembering Lewa was in the car. She could be her P.A but stuffs like that still needed discretion.

"Would you please play a song, this car is as silent as a graveyard." Tutu said.

"Okay." I replied simply as, I clicked the play button on the music player and Chris brown rich voice filled the car.

We were almost at Tutu's house when I noticed a car trailing us. At first, I ignored it but then I made a wrong turn just to be sure.

"What are you doing dude, that's not the way to my house." Tutu said, as I ignored her, the car had made the turn too. I dialled Ayo's phone immediately.

"Hey boss, did you get lost or something. You passed the wrong route." He said, on picking up.

"No I didn't, a car is trailing me. I want you guys to wait for me at that intersection and distract him from following me. I would need you to at least get a plate number this time if you can't catch the culprit. No excuse!" I ordered.

"What kind of car is it?"

"It's a black Toyota Camry, it looks very old." I replied as I hanged up.

"Can I continue playing the music?" Tutu asked from where she was sitting beside me.

"No." I replied.

"Why not?" She asked.

"Don't you get it! Someone is out there trying to kill you and you want to continue playing music?" I said. I just couldn't believe her, I couldn't believe she was asking to play music at a time like this.

"Of course I get it. You think I don't? Then why don't you have an unknown face out there trying to kill you and know how I feel!" She yelled in reply.

"So, why don't you take this serious then?" I asked her.

"Of course I do, I was just trying to look for a way to cheer us all up." She replied as I parked in front of her house. She got down angrily, slamming the poor car's door behind her as I followed behind.

She hurried inside as I walked in after her. I stayed a little behind as she walked into her room, I didn't want to invade her privacy but her scream erased all that thought from my mind as I rushed into her room.

"What's wrong?" I asked as I burst into the room. The room was scattered, her clothes were scattered all over the place, her bedside drawer was open and scripts and documents were flinged everywhere. The window was open and the wind was blowing the curtain all over the place.

"What the hell happened here?" Lewa asked, placing her palm against her mouth as she looked around in surprise.

I stood up and checked every nook and cranny of the room to make sure no one was inside. After confirming it was safe, I brought out my handkerchief and gently closed the windows.

"We should go downstairs." I said as I picked up my phone to call Richard and Chike over.

Fortunately, Ayo and Samson arrived then. Within the three of us, we checked the entire house, guarded the girls, sealed all possible entrance except the front door and settled in the living room waiting for the next course of action.

"Ayo, did you get the car?" I asked after we were settled.

"We weren't able to get the driver but we got the plate number." He replied.

"Good, was it the same car you saw the previous night?" I asked him, hoping for a yes.

"No sir, it's different. That was a red Camry." He replied as I sighed, frustrated.

"Alright, send the plate number to Tunde to see if he can get the registered owner. Tell him it's urgent, I must get it before the day's over."

"Sure boss." He replied.

"Tutu, are you sure you don't want to involve the police?" I asked her as she nodded negatively.

"I think you should inform the police because this is getting more serious than we thought it was." Lewa shared her fears and inwardly, I agreed.

"Hello, have you been to Nigeria? This is Nigeria, we barely have a good police department not to talk of an investigating one. The best I can do is employ a investigator otherwise, I am fucked." She said as I wondered how she could still managed to be sarcastic in her current situation.

"Alright then, settle round guys." I said to Ayo and Samson.

"We have to plan a new course of action. We are going to get two other bodyguards to play undercover. They are going to have to lay low somewhere around and check for any suspicious car that comes around. Chike is going to set up cctv camera's everywhere around this house and you guys are going to be her personal bodyguards." I stated.

"Alright, what about you?" Samson asked.

"Well, I am going to do what I know how to do best. Solve the case while making sure the client is safe." I said, taking a little trip down the memory lane as I shook my head to bring myself back to present.

The doorbell rang just then as Ayo went to get it. He came back to the sitting room with Chike and Richard behind him.

"Let's get this fucker shall we?" Richard said as he got to where we were all sitted.

"Lewa, you should probably go home. Ayo will take you. Samson, you and Chike should survey the compound. Also, please sweep her room for any fingerprint you can find. Our undercover are on their way and I already informed them about what to do. I and Richard will stay here together and try to solve this case." I instructed as everyone got to work.

"Bye. Take care of yourself and , don't forget to take your drugs." Lewa muttered, pecking Tutu as she left the house. Tutu seem apprehensive as her legs bounced up and down.

"Should I get you a cup of tea?" I asked, noticing her anxiety.

"Yes please." She replied and I almost laughed, I had never imagined she could be so humble.

"Get me a cup too, would you." Richard said as I nodded and disappeared to the kitchen to make some tea for the three of us. I looked around the kitchen; which was very clean as I waited for the water to boil.

"Thank you." They both said as I placed their teas in front of them.

"So, Ire told me he never got around to asking you the question I asked him to ask you." Richard started.

"No,he didn't. What was it?" Tutu replied.

"I asked him to ask you if you can think of anyone who might hold a grudge against you. Deep enough to wish death." Richard said. Tutu took a few minutes thinking about that before shaking her head.

"I don't think so, I have had my regular clashes with people but I don't think they are worth my death." She replied.

"How about clashes over properties, money, businesses or anything that's worth a lot." Richard asked her.

"Hmmm, I once had something like that but..." She trailed off.

"But what?" He asked.

"It was long ago, the man swore he was going to see the end of me."

"Why?"

"Mr Babalola Fadipe. I bought his business, he owned a company that made books but as at that time he went bankrupt so his business went under. I met him through a colleague then and he was willing to sell 60 percent of his shares to me for a duration of 2 years, then he was supposed to buy the company back and give me back my money." She said.

"Then what happened?" I asked her.

"I became the largest shareholder in the company and the business started thriving again so the other shareholders voted against him getting the company back."

"Did you cause that to happen?" Richard asked her.

"No, I rarely even went to the company. I just had Lewa do the work." She replied.

"Alright, so when last did you see him?"

"That was two years ago at the grand opening of the branch in Abuja. He did some cunny business to make me lose my 60 percent so he could become the C.E.O even without the votes but he ended up losing his 20 percent. He was denied access to the event and he swore that he would ruin me but I didn't think much of it, I just thought it was because he was angry." She concluded.

"Could you get us the file of that company, your workers, details of your currently employed managers." I asked.

"Sure, I will ask Lewa to get them for you.

"I would do a little digging also." Richard said.

"The day you were shot, who else knew where you were going to be?" I asked, my intuitive coming to play.

"Well apart from myself, my maid and Lewa. There was basically no one else except... I think I mentioned it to my interviewer after the interview." She said, unsure.

"Why did you mention it to the interviewer?" I asked.

"We were just chitchatting and she asked what I would be doing for the rest of the day so I just told her." She said as my fingers bounced nervously against my forehead.

"You mentioned you had a maid right?" I asked, taking my seat.

"Yes, I have a maid."

"What's her name?"

"Bisola Ade... bayo... I think that was her surname." She said, trying to fully recall the name.

"Bisola Adebayo." I mused while Richard noted it down.

"Where is your maid right now?" I asked her.

"Well, I told her not to come since I was admitted in the hospital." She said.

"What about before then?" Richard asked her.

"Well, normally she resumes by 7am and closes anytime. It depends on if I would be in or not."

"Where did you meet her?" I asked my final question.

"I got her from a housemaid company Lewa introduced me too."

"Can you remember the name?" I asked her.

"I think it was GHC. Yea, it was grateful heart company's."

"Who did the paperwork and all?" Richard asked.

"It was Lewa, I just signed it." She replied.

"Please excuse me." I said walking to a private place as I made a call to one of my most trusted friend.

"Hey bro, can you please do me a favour?" I asked after pleasantries was out of the way.
