08| His Jealousy

Nandini cleared her throat and replied, "These are not round balls, meri jaan. They're called breasts and woman have them so that they can feed their babies like I do to you since they're the ones that give birth to them after they grow inside their Mumma's tummy for nine months."

"In their tummy?" Manik asked, astonished and Nandini nodded and he frowned, lost in his thoughts for a moment before he exclaimed, "Nanni Mumma! What if the baby falls in the toilet when we sit for potty?"

Nandini stared at him as he frowned seriously as she laughed loudly, stopping when tears started streaming from her eyes and her stomach ached, chuckling as he stared at her, still awaiting her reply and she replied, "Baby, the child comes out from the stomach. The doctor cuts the tummy carefully and takes the small baby out before tying it back. This is how they are born."

Manik made an O with his mouth and nodded while Nandini chuckled and pressed a kiss on his cheek before trying to get up, making him whine before he clinged to her by wrapping his arm around her waist and shoving his face in her chest. Nandini raked her fingers through his hair and pecked his head before softly saying, "Manik, Mumma koh kaam hain kitchen main. Dinner banana hain na aapko phir bhuk lagegi. Aapne subah se kuch nahi khaya."

"Nayi," Manik stubbornly refused, making Nandini sigh before suggesting, "Fine. Then come downstairs with me. You can play something till I'm in the kitchen. Okay?"

Manik nodded enthusiastically and they got up from the bed, moving downstairs and as they moved to living area, Nandini was surprised to see a girl and a boy in their mid twenties with a baby in their lap occupying a sofa along with Dadi. Dadi introduced them as Rishi and Diya, Manik's Maasi's cousins who came up to meet Manik and her due to their marriage along with their baby, Hardik.

Nandini greeted them with a smile before going into the kitchen to fetch glasses of water for them. She served them and they had a small chit chat while Manik got busy with her phone. He looked up, his hands fisting and teeth grinding in jealousy and insecurity as she grabbed Hardik and kissed his cheek, cooing to him as she made him eat.

Nandini startled as Manik suddenly got up and left towards their room. She excused herself with a forced smile and followed him upstairs, hurrying in the room as he laid on the bed, crying.

"Mera bacha, kya hua?" Nandini inquired softly, caressing his hair.

(Manik, baby, what is it?)

"Aap meko ni us Hardik ko pyaar karte ho," he accused, sobbing, making Nandini shake her head immediately though she was surprised with his possessiveness.

(You don't love me. You love that Hardik.)

"Bilkul bhi nahi. Main aapke ilawa kisi ko nahi karti. Tu toh meri jaan hain," Nandini assured, wiping the tears from his eyes.

(No, that's not true. I don't love anyone beside you. You're my life.)

"Phir aapne usse kissie kyu ki?" Manik asked, his eyes tearing up again as he thought back the scene.

(Then, why did you kiss him?)

"Nayi nayi rona ni. Galti hogi. Nanni Mumma sach main sorry hain. Ab se kabhi bhi nahi karungi," Nandini said, pulling him to herself and he immediately wrapped his arms around her tightly as he rested his head on her breast.

(No, no. Don't cry! I made a mistake. Nanni Mumma is really sorry. I won't repeat it again.)

"Khana bhi nahi khilaogi," Manik ordered, making her nod immediately before he pulled away with a pout and said, "Aapne usko apni godhi main bithaya. Manik ko?"

(*You won't even feed him. **You made him sit on your lap. Me?)

"Manik toh mera big aur strong boy hain na toh nahi bithaya. Hardik chota hain na. Nanni Mumma ki legs main pain agar aap meri godhi main bethe toh," Nandini explained, making him whine as he demanded, "Nahi, mereko bhi baithna hain."

(*Manik, you're my big and strong boy, that's why. Hardik is so small. But, if you'll sit, my legs will pain. **No! I want to sit too.)

"Manik, mere–" As his eyes filled with tears, she stopped and sighed before saying, "Acha aa jao."

(Manik,my– **Okay, come.)

Manik stared at her for a moment before shaking his head and hugged her back, innocently saying, "Nayi aana. Nanni Mumma ke legs main pain hoga na."

(No, I don't want to. Nanni Mumma's legs will pain.)

Nandini felt her heart melt before she cupped his cheeks, smiling as he laughed contentedly when she showered his face with kisses before screaching as she started tickling him suddenly. He pushed away, laughing as she came closer again and protested, "Ni mumma, bas. Mere pait main hai hogi."

(No, mom! My stomach hurts.)

Nandini laughed and pulled away before looking over at the time, immediately getting up and anxiously said, "Haye, mere putt time dekho. Mere bache ko bhukh lagi hain na subha se ni kuch khaya? Main das minute main khaana banake laati hu aap yaha aaram se baitho, okay? Television chala du?"

(My God! Look at the time. You haven't had anything since morning. You're hungry, haina? I'll just come back in ten minutes. You rest here, okay? Shall I turn on the TV?)

Manik nodded and she turned on the discovery channel that Manik enjoyed watching on the television before rushing out of the room.

It was nearly half an hour when Nandini walked back with a bowl of hot dal along with two chapatis. Sitting, crossed legged beside him, she carefully placed the plate on her lap and blew air on the hot piece of morsel before holding it out to Manik and said, "Aaja, mere nona puttar. Paas main aake betho. Mereko mushkil hogi esse khilane main."

(Come on, my sweetheart. Sit closer. It's difficult to feed you food like this.)

Manik shifted closer and she shoved the piece of morsel in his mouth after he opened it, obliviously, while his eyes were stuck on the television, watching the lion carefully observe the prey. Nandini fed him the rest of the dinner before she got up and he whined in protest as she switched off the television.

"Bas aaj ke liye bohot television dekh liya. Main dinner karti hu utni der aap brush karo uthkar. Fir main aapko change karvadu, okay?" Nandini said, making Manik plead, "Bas five minutes aur dekhlu, please! Woh end hone vala tha."

(The television is enough for today. I'm having my dinner and you'll brush your teeth by then. Then, I'll help you in changing, okay? **Only five minutes more please? It's about to end.)

"Manik," Nandini started before she sighed in resignation as series of pleads escaped his lips. "Fine. But, not more than five minutes, okay?"

Manik nodded enthusiastically and she turned on the television before going downstairs to fetch her dinner. A few minutes later, while she had her dinner, Manik brushed his teeth before Nandini helped him change in a black t-shirt and lowers.

After he laid down and covered himself with the blanket, she went downstairs to finish off the work in kitchen for the night before going upstairs with a glass of water for his medicines. When she entered in, she sighed when she saw him asleep.

Sitting on the edge of the bed, beside him, she watched as he breathed deeply with his lips parted away and dishearteningly called out, "Mere shona. Utho, dawai lekar sona."

(My baby. Wake up, have your medicines first before sleeping.)

Manik grumbled in frustration and after her continuous calls, he got up, his eyes shining for disturbing him. She silently made him have his medicines before he laid back. As she turned away, he held her hand and mumbled, "Dudu."

(Milk?)

"Guddu bas kapde badal–" Nandini started but was cut off when he shook his head, his hold on her hand tightening and he threw a tantrum, making her give in to his whim, knowing he was frustrated due to disturbing his sleep.

(Manik, just let me change–)

Yet, as she took off the clip from her hair, letting her hair down and laid beside him, he looked at her with a pout as she sternly said, "Acha, pehle chup karo. Saara time nahi cheekte aur itni zidd karte. Pyaar se bhi keh sakte ho na. Maine kabhi aapko mana kiya hain?"

(Okay, first be quiet. Don't shout and fret all the time. You can say it sweetly, no? Did I ever refuse you?)

Manik shook his head and apologised softly, his gaze lowering as he fidgeted with her nuptial chain, making her smile faintly and she gazed at him lovingly before she pecked his lips gently, making him grin at her, happy with her affectionate touch.

She pulled away slightly and removed her dupatta, keeping it aside on the bed before her hands opened the strings of her kurti and lowered it's zipper to loosen it. Opening the hooks of her bra, Manik immediately shifted closer as she raised the hem of her kurti along with the bra, one of her breast spilling out.

Their legs tangled as Manik's warm mouth wrapped around her nipple, making her stomach knot, her core clenching in pleasure as his tongue rolled around while he suckled on her breast, gulping the milk frantically, oblivious to the desire coursing through her body.

Her hand rested on his shoulder as she shifted closer, raising herself slightly for better flow as his lips pressed against her nipple hardly to swallow the milk while his hand shoved her kurti slightly upwards, baring her waist before his arm wrapped around it, a shiver racking past her spine as his manly hand swept over her smooth back innocently.

A few minutes later, Nandini felt her breath deepen and her eyes close as Manik drowsily blinked his eyes while taking his feed. Tiredness of the day slowly creeped inside Nandini and before she could comprehend anything, she gave in to the deep slumber while nursing him.
