•||Ch28: Ali's Arrival||•

||Third Person POV||

It had been a week since Mirha’s parents, Murat and Aziya, died in a car accident. Mirha had locked herself in the guestroom of her brother, Zain’s house. Little poor soul isolated herself from everyone.

Everyday, her brother and her sister in law tried to pull her out of her room but she didn't let them. Everyone in the family was mourning on the sudden death of her parents except for one person who was playing her evil games.

Zain had to force her baby sister everyday to eat. He hated to see her sister in this condition but he also knew from which pain she was going through. His half world also shattered when he heard the news of his parents death and when he saw them in front of him lifeless.

Imagine the pain and suffering from which both siblings had gone through would break anyone’s heart.

But he knew he had to be strong for his sister who needed him. His heart always broke when he looked at his broken sister. One the other side, Sania felt the pain of her love. Every night she had seen him getting out of their room and cried in loneliness.

Every night she gave him her shoulder to cry his heart out. Every night she saw him breaking apart. Sania also saw her bubbly sister in law, Mirha, suffering alone. She tried to help her but she knew she wasn't the one who could help Mirha.

“Mirha needs Arash,” Sania whispered as she was running her fingers in Zain’s hair whose head was on Sania’s lap.

“I know. I had talked to Arash’s father about Arash. He informed me he will bring Arash back soon,” Zain mumbled thinking about the conversation he had with Arash’s father.

“Why he didn't come when Mirha needed him most?” Sania asked the question which was disturbing her.

“Arash also met with an accident there,” Zain informed his wife who gasped at the newly found information.

“Just don't tell Mirha about this. I don't want my sister in more worst condition.”

Sania nodded her head and massaged his head. She was feeling bad for Mirha because she didn't deserve anything like this. She deserved a happy like happy but she knew everyone had to go through worsen before a happy life.

The house was all dark. No light was oned. A girl stomped in the house in anger. She was burning in anger.

“Mom?”

She called in anger.

“Mom?”

No one answered.

Suddenly, the sound of heels heard from the staircase. She turned to the staircase in anger and saw her mother descended the stairs who was smiling evilly.

“What was that, mom? Seriously? Arash? I told you not to harm him,” She yelled in anger at her mother.

“Stop with the nonsense. I know what I am doing,” Her mother said, irritatedly.

“If you know then you should have killed Mirha. Who by the way is safe. She is the one who supposed to be in cemetery not her parents,” She spoke in anger at her mother.

“I know, Neha. I know. She is just lucky. But don't worry. I will better kill her next time,” Neha’s mother said and walked to the couch.

She sat on the couch and ran her fingers on her cat who sat on her lap and snuggled into her. Neha looked at her mother then sat in front of her.

“But why you try to kill my Arash?” Neha asked her mother.

“But he didn't die. Did he?” Her mother asked with an evil grin.

Neha looked at her mother in anger but she didn't speak cause she knew her mother. She knew how her mother was an evil lady.

A man stood at the airport of his beloved country where his beloved one lived. Where his wife lived who he loved. The wife who was unaware of his arrival and who was unaware of the fact that her husband loved her back.

His head had bandage around his head. He remembered the message which he sent to his wife when he met with an accident and before slipping in darkness. He thought he would never met her again and would never apologize for his action and behavior towards her.

“Arash!”

He looked ahead and saw his father coming towards him. His father pulled him in a hug for five minutes. He was worried for his son when he learnt about his accident.

They both pulled away and the first thing that Arash noticed was his father’s bandaged hand. He frowned at his father and asked,

“What happened to your hand?”

“Forget about me. You have to be with your wife. She needs you at this time, Arash,” His father said pulling him to his car.

Arash put his suitcase in his father car and both climbed in the back seat. Driver drove the car towards Zain’s house. Arash was confused about Mirha. He couldn't understand why she need him.

“What happened, dad?” He asked him thinking about his beloved wife who looked beautiful when she wore a beautiful smile on her face, which enlightened his heart everytime.

His dad informed him about Mirha’s parents death and what happened to the car. Arash felt the need to hug his wife, to pull her in his arms, to tell her he would always here for her whenever she needed a shoulder to cry.

He wanted to see his Mirha badly. His hands were twitching to hug her. He ran a hand on his face and quickly ran out of the car when it stopped in front of Zain’s house.

The servant opened the door when Arash knocked on the door. Arash quickly entered inside the house and looked for his Mirha in the living hall. Sania came out of the kitchen to the living hall and stood still when she saw Arash.

“Where is she?” He asked, impatiently.

Sania took him to the guestroom where Mirha was. Mirha hadn't came out of her room and hasn't eaten anything since morning which made everyone concerned.

“She hadn't come out and today she doesn't eat anything. Try to make her eat something,” Sania said and left him alone standing in front of the door.

Arash slowly pushed the door opened and entered inside the dim lighted room. His heart clenched at the sight of his broken wife. She was laying on the bed like a lifeless soul with dark circles under her eyes. She was looking so weak and her eyes was staring at the ceiling blankly.

He didn't think twice before quickly walking towards her bed. He laid down beside her and pulled her in hug. Mirha startled when she felt herself pulling in a hug but relaxed when she felt the familiar warmth of her husband.

She didn't hold herself back and cried her heart out. Arash let her cried on his chest. He hated to see his wife like this. He was feeling guilty for not there when she needed him the most a week ago.

“They left me,” She cried on his chest and sobbed, loudly.

He rubbed her back and kissed on her head. His chest was hurting because of the injury but he didn't groan in pain or escape any sound of pain. He hugged her tightly when he felt her stopped sobbing and crying. Her breath came steady which was indicating that she was sleeping.

He slowly put her head on the pillow and kissed on her forehead. He felt his hand burning with Mirha’s temperature. Mirha was burning with temperature. He frowned at Mirha and quickly walked out the room. He went to the kitchen and quickly cooked healthy lunch for Mirha.

Sania entered in the kitchen while he was putting plates in the tray. Arash turned around with the tray in his hands but stopped when he noticed Sania.

“Bhabhi, please call the doctor. She has temperature,” Arash informed Sania.

Sania panicked and quickly rushed to her room to call the doctor. Arash didn't waste time and went to his wife. He put the tray on the nightstand and sat beside Mirha. He didn't want to wake her up but he had to.

“Mirha?” He called her, softly.

She hummed and groaned in pain but didn't open her eyes. Arash called her once again and shook her gently. Mirha opened her eyes slowly but closed it. She thought she was dreaming about her Ali. She thought it was her mind playing tricked with her cause her Ali wasn't here nor he was talking to her.

“Mirha? Wake up, love. I cook lunch for you,” Arash told her, softly.

Mirha frowned and opened her eyes slowly again but this time she didn't close them she stared at her Ali with wide eyes and in surprised. She moved her hand forward and touched his face slightly and softly, fearing he would disappeared.

Arash picked her hand in his gentle grip and kissed on it. Her tears once again flowed through her tears and fell on her pillow. Arash gently wiped her tears and put his forehead on her burning forehead.

“Hi!” Arash mumbled.

Mirha blinked her once, twice then thrice. She quickly wrapped her arms around him and weep on his shoulder.

“Ali, they--,”

“I know!” Ali whispered cutting her.

Arash pulled away and wiped her tears. He made her sat on the bed and adjusted the pillows behind her. Arash put tray in front of her and fed her with his hands. Mirha ate without complaining but pushed the tray aside after eating half of it.

“I am full,” She told him.

Arash didn't forced her and put the tray back on the nightstand. Arash looked at Mirha who was looking down her hands with broken expression.

“Promise me you will not leave me,” Mirha whispered, brokenly.

Arash understood what was going in her mind. In the dim light of the room, he could see and notice the pain which was showing on her face. Arash pulled her in his arms and kissed on her head.

“I promise. I will not leave you,” Arash said and sealed it with a short kiss.

Arash held Mirha till there was a knock a knock on the door. He slowly and carefully put Mirha back on the bed and opened the door. Sania and man with a briefcase in his hand was stood. He stepped aside and let them entered inside.

Arash turned the lights on and let the doctor check Mirha. He stood in the back and smiled ever so slightly when he saw his Mirha eyes were searching for him. He moved near her bed which made her look up at Arash.

Mirha stared at him with frowned and fear. She was scared to know what happened to Arash. But she wanted to ask him. Doctor checked her and advised them to take care of health.

“She will be fine once she starts eating properly,” Doctor informed them.

Arash nodded his head but stared at his wife. Doctor stood straight and walked out of the room after giving them a medicine. Sania followed the doctor out and gave the couple time.

Once the door closed, Mirha quickly asked him without wasting a single second,

“What happened to your head?”

Their was worry, concern, panic, fear and more emotion in her voice. Arash sat down beside her and held her hands.

“Nothing, love. It is just a little injury,” He told her like it was nothing but for Mirha it was a big thing.

“What do you mean by nothing? Ali, tell me what happened to your head?” She asked raising her voice which caused her coughing.

Arash rubbed her back and sighed because he knew he had to tell her. He told her about his accident but he didn't tell her about his feelings towards her.

“Oh my God! Ali what if something happened to you? What if I lost you like mom and dad? What--,” She was crying but Arash didn't like it so he did one thing.

He pulled her wife face near him gently and kissed her to shut her up. Mirha rigid but responded him. They both pulled away and put their foreheads on each other. Mirha didn't look up at Arash in shyness.

“Nothing happened to me. If anything happened then I wouldn't be here,” He told her.

Mirha put her head on his shoulder and hid her red face. She sighed softly when she felt for the first time, after her parents death, a little happy. She knew no happiness could replace the pain of her parents death but she knew her Ali would do anything to make her happy.
