I don't know why, but after all these years, I find myself thinking about her.

We met at a party between my college dorm and one of the girls' dormitories.

The band played all the current hits: "Walk Away" by the James Gang, "Listen to the Music" by The Doobie Brothers, and even Elvis Presley's "Burning Love."

We had a few draft beers and danced to all those tunes and more.

There were a few others after her, not too many, though. And there were more years and more tunes to follow. But I still love those songs... and her.
