DALE FYRON'S POV

" Please welcome contestant no. 7,  Dale Fyron Helveryst and Kate Chandria Lyntheria." The emcee called us so offered my hand on Katria and glady she accepted it.

We walk up on stage and all that we could here is the gossips of the students around us. She suddenly stopped and I saw her bowed her head because of embarrassment. I squeezed her hand that made her look at me and gave her an 'it's okay' look. She let out a sight and didn't bother those words they were throwing at her. I admit that it made me burst out of anger but I kept myself calm. I'm sure I'll gonna kick their ass for looking down on my girl.

" WHOAH! GO SISSY! KAYA MO 'YAN!." One of her friends shouted, Aika. She's jumping that's why she caught the students attention but didn't even take a glance on them.

" YOU CAN DO IT GIRL. WE'LL SUPPORT YOU!." That Lucy added while waving the banner that has a print of our name on it.

" Gosh! Nakakahiya ang ginagawa nila." she whispered and sat on the chair that was prepared for us.

" Don't be ashamed on what they're doing. They're just boosting your confidence. Be proud because you have friends like them." I tested the mic that made the crowd scream.

" I know." She let out a sigh and tested her mic but there's just a few who cheered on her, including her friends.

" Are you ready? We'll start to sing to show them how good is your voice."

She smiled a little bit and nodded. I motioned the band to start so we get ready and looked at each other. She seemed nervous and all I want to do is to hold her hand so she would feel comfortable. Nagbubulungan lahat ng mga estudyante na nanonood sa'min pero hindi ko iyon pinansin. She was about to let go of her hand but I tightened my hold that's why she couldn't do anything. The song started playing so we payed attention on it.

" Sabi nila, balang araw darating. Ang iyong, tanging hinihiling. At noong dumating ang aking panalangin ay hindi na maikubli. Ang pag-asang nahanap ko sa'yong mga mata. At ang takot kung sakali mang ika'y mawawala."
She paused a little bit and glance on the crowd. Some of them gasped and gossiping to each other." At ngayon, nandyan kana 'di mapaliwanag ang nadarama. Handa ako sa walang hanggan 'di paaasahin, 'di ka sasaktan. Mula noon, hanggang ngayon, ikaw at ako." She smiled that made the crowd noisy. Nagwala ang kaibigan niya kaya napatawa na lamang siya. Hindi niya namalayan na nakatapat pala yung mic sa kanya kaya narinig 'yun ng lahat.

Damn, I love to hear her laughs.

" At sa wakas ay nahanap kona rin. Ang aking, tanging hinihiling. Pangako sa'yo na ikay uunahin at hindi naitatanggi. Ang tadhanang nahanap ko sa'yong pagmamahal. Ang dudulot sa pag-ibig natin na magtatagal." All I can I hear is the screaming of the students when I finished singing my line.

Napatingin kami sa isa't-isa at ngumiti bago nagsimulang kantahin ang linya namin." At ngayon, nandyan kana 'di mapaliwanag ang nadarama. Handa ako sa walang hanggan 'di paaasahin, 'di ka sasaktan. Mula noon, hanggang ngayon, ikaw at ako." We smiled at them that's why they kept on shouting our name and cheering like we were a famous singers.

" OMG! MY FAVORITE SHIP EVER!." I was shocked when Cheska suddenly shouted and jumping like a kid. Ivan was on her side and smiling at us.

" At ngayon nandito na, palaging hahawakan at ang iyong kamay." Kat looked at our hands and blushed that's why her friends were teasing her.

" 'Di kana mag-iisa sa hirap at ginhawa, iibigin ka. Mula noon, hanggang ngayon...." I smirked and looked at her but she looked away, probably shy.

" Mula ngayon, hanggang dulo..." She looked at me and smiled widely.

" Ikaw at Ako." We both sang and smiled at the crowd. Todo sigaw sila at tili sa'ming dalawa. Everyone loves her voice right after hearing her sing. I knew it from the very start.

" Looks like we have a new couple right now." The emcee said and they answered a big 'yes'. Looks like everyone was with us even though weren't yet together.

I ordered two cookies and cream in the counter while she was sitting in the corner near the glass wall. She insisted to buy for us but I forced her since I'm the guy and I should be the one to buy for her. Hindi ko nga akalaing pareho pala kaming mahilig ng cookies and cream. This should be destiny.

" Here's yours." I put the tray in our table and gave her a cup and a spoon." Stop using your phone in front of the food. That's what you said while you were babysitting us." She didn't say anything and just set it aside.

" Eh? Ba't pareho tayo ng order? Ginagaya mo ba ako?." Her brows frowned while looking at me.

I shook my head." Nah. It's my favorite since I was a kid. Tanong mo pa kay mommy na magiging mommy mo rin balang araw."

" Weh?! Meganon?!." Tumawa siya at sumubo ng konti." You're really sure that we'll be together? Na sasagutin talaga kita?!." she added, still wearing a smile on her face.

" Of course. And if ever that you're not yet ready, I could still wait for you until you'll say yes to me. I won't get tired of courting and making you smile everyday. I'm not rushing for some things like this. Let's just make it easier and gentle. If we're really meant for each other, even if it took eternity, it's still you and me." I hold her hand and smiled at her. I do really mean what I said.

She holds my hand tight and nodded." You're the kind of person that values words so I'll hold on to it. Kapag handa na ako, hindi ako magdadalawang-isip na sagutin ka. Konting tiis nalang naman 'yun. I know you could still wait for it."

After we ate in the ice-cream parlor, we went to the jewelry store to look for some jewelries. Alam kong hindi niya hilig ang magsuot ng kahit anong arte sa katawan pero gusto ko siyang bilhan ng kahit isa man lang na panregalo sa kanya. We won the singing contest earlier that's why we're here to celebrate. She celebrated with her friends already and it was just a simple lunch with them. They didn't went for a bonding because they knew that she'll going to spend the whole day with me.

I was busy looking for our pictures on my phone so I didn't noticed that she's not on my side. I looked for her and I saw her on the other section, looking for some necklaces. She didn't notice my presence at her back because her attention was on the silver necklace that has a heart pendant. It was just simple but it caught her attention. She's not really into expensive things and that's what I like her the most.

" You wanna get it? Hmmm? I'll get it for you."

Napaigtad naman siya at napalingon sa'kin. She was about to tumble and good thing I hold her waist." Why are you always surprising me? Kanina kapa ba sa likod ko?."

I slightly nodded." Yeah. You didn't notice my presence that's why I just keep silent. Do you like that necklace? It's beautiful, I can get it for you." I asked again.

" Nah. I don't need it." She smiled a little and looked at the necklace."Kung sakaling magbago ang isip ko at gusto ko yang bilhin, baka wala narin 'yan dyan at may nakabili na. Besides, I have to budget my money for my family. Mas importante sila kaysa sa kwintas na 'yan." she added.

She made me fall inlove with her deeper that before. I'm going to be the luckiest man ever if she'll going to be my girl. Damn it. I really love her.

I pulled her for a hug and she was shocked on what I did." You're the best sister on your siblings. They're so lucky to have you. And if you want to get a job, just tell me. I'll give you the easiest work ever."

She chuckled and hit my arms."Jerk! Walang trabaho na madali sa panahon ngayon, Daron."

I didn't know why I love the way she calls me jerk even though I really hate it before." I can manipulate everyone who's under my control. Isang sabi ko lang sa kanila na bigyan ka ng madaling trabaho ay gagawin 'yun nila. You want it?."

" Tsk. Unfair 'yun sa iba. Pareho man kami ng makukuhang pera, pinaghihirapan nila 'yun samantalang walang kahirap-hirap yung sa'kin dahil 'yun ang utos mo." She glared at me and crossed her arms." Try to be fair. Don't use your position anytime you want. Get it?." She raised her eyebrow that's why I just nodded.

" Fine. You're the teacher so I must listen to you, maam." I smirked that made her pissed.

" Hmp. Diyan kana nga." She walked out on the store and all I have to do is to follow her.

" Hey, wait for me." I shouted at her but she didn't even take a glance on me. Is she mad on me?!

" Look what you've done?!." A girl suddenly shouted that caught everyone's attention. She's like a model because of her outfit and she's yelling at.... Fuck it!

" Don't you know what just happened or you want me to do it again?!." I heard the sarcasm of Katria's voice that's why I immediately went on her side.

" How dare you to talk to me like that?! I'm the  most famous model and a high class is in front of you. Don't you know how to respect, huh?!." That girl was definitely in anger because she just throwed the cup of coffee in the floor.

" Respect is for those who deserve it not for those who demand it. And if you're really worth it to respect, you shouldn't throw an empty cup on the floor. Aren't you aware of the people around you?! That's disgusting." Kat rolled her eyes that made everyone gasps.

" Hey, you okay?." I asked her and caressed her hair. There was a lot of stain in her uniform and I know it was because of the coffee that the girl was holding earlier.

" You're Mr. Daron, right?! Didn't you what what that girl did to me?! She pushed and I almost fell on the ground. She owes me an apology." The girl hissed but I just gave her a glare.

" I know my girl just did it because you throwed her a hot coffee. She didn't mean to do it so you're the one who owes her an apology." I said coldly to her. Hinubad ko ang blazer ko at isinuot 'yun kay Katria dahil ang dumi na ng uniform niya.

" W-Wait, what?! Why are----."

" Look who's there. The bitch who said she's a high class but acted like a low class. Such a pathetic." Another girl came who's wearing an expensive outfit like the other girl. Seems like they were both models, though she was wearing a deadly look.

I think I've seen her somewhere..... or even someone. Right. She's with Shawn last time. I heard her name was Zekiah Xyriel Knoxville.

" Let's go, you need to dress up." Inalalayan ko siyang maglakad patungo sa boutique para bumili ng masusuot niya.

We're both wearing a uniform so she'll need to take off her long sleeves and blazer. I got an idea and asked for a couple t-shirt on the counter. I just left her on the sofa because I insisted to pick her a shirt since she's wet. The saleslady accompanied me to the other section and I started picking three couple shirts. When I came back to her, I gave her the gray shirt and she immediately accepted it.

" Here's your blazer, thanks." She handed me my blazer and I just nodded." Magbibihis muna ako sa cr, saglit lang ako. Just wait me there." She went inside the girls cr so I stood up to get my shirt that has the same with her and went to the cr next to her.

I quickly removed my uniform and wear the shirt. She might get out in just a minute. Tinuck-in ko ito sa suot kong pants at inayos ang sarili ko sa salamin bago lumabas. I didn't expect that we'll get out together so she was a little bit shocked. She even looked at her shirt and then looked at mine, probably confused why we're wearing the same. Instead of answering her, I just pulled her gently and went out side of the boutique.

" Wait. Bakit parehas tayo ng suot? P-Parang.... parang couple eh." She looked away while swaying our hands in the air.

" Yeah. I intended it." I answered and put my other hand on my pocket.

We took many pictures in every part of the mall. I even asked someone to take a picture of us because I'm going put it in a frame and place it on my room. She used my phone and took some stolen shots of mine. I told her to delete it but she wanted to have a copy on it to make it as a wallpaper. We ate on the restaurant after that before I drive her home. We stopped on the starbucks to buy a food for her siblings and also to my brothers. Malaki na sila pero alam kong hahanapan ako nun ng pagkain pagkauwi ko. They're always like that.

" I'm going inside." She get out of the car and I opened the window to see her." Come here, I wanna tell you something." she added and motioned me to come closer on the window.

She quickly kissed my cheeks and smiled at me." Thank you for giving me a ride."

Before I could even answered, she immediately went inside of their house and I was left dumbfounded. D-Did she just.... kissed me?! Kahit na sa pisngi lang 'yun, malakas ang epekto sa'kin. It's the first time she did the first move. Goddammit!

KATE CHANDRIA'S POV

Nagising ako sa tunog ng phone ko kaya inaantok akong inabot ito sa tabi ko. Pagod kase ako dahil matagal natapos ang klase namin kahapon. Malapit na kase ang midterm eh kaya todo review na naman kami. Sino ba kase 'tong tumatawag?! Inaantok pa yung tao ehh at saka wala namang pasok ngayon. Alam konang tawag ito kaya agad ko itong sinagot ng hindi man lang tinitingnan kung sino 'yun. Pake ko ba eh inaantok pa ako.

[ Hey love, goodmorning. Did I wake you up? ]

Agad naman akong napaupo ng wala sa oras nang marinig ko ang boses na 'yun." H-Hahl?! Ah hindi naman masyado, goodmorning din." Narinig ko naman siyang tumawa sa kabilang linya.

[ I know you're still sleeping when I called you. Fine, I'll just call to greet you a goodmorning. Get up now, it's already 9:00 am. I'll fetch you in 20 mins. ]

Napanguso naman ako." Eh? Ang daya mo naman. Kakatawag mo lang tapos ibababa mona agad." Pupunta kase ako sa mansion ngayon at gusto niyang sunduin ako. Darating daw kase mamaya si tita kasama si tito, yung daddy niya. Ipapakilala niya na ako bilang nililigawan niya.

[ Don't be mad, love. You'll see me later, I know you missed me. Hurry up, I wanna see you too ]

" But I'm nervous. Hindi ko pa nakikita yung daddy niyo at hindi ko alam kung anong itsura niya. He might not like me." Humina ang boses ko sa huling sinabi ko. Napahigpit ang hawak ko sa kumot ko nang maisip na baka itakwil niya ako.

[ He's not scary, love. Just act normal, he's not that serious. If you'll get closer to each other, he has an attitude like Akken. Don't think too much, he'll like you for sure ]

" Really? Walang halong biro, Daron?." paninigurado ko, nagsisimula na kase akong kabahan eh.

[ I promise, love. Fix yourself, I'm almost done ]

" Okay. Muaps!." In-end kona ang tawag at nagpagulong-gulong sa kama ko.

Palaging ganun ang daily routine ko. Magigising nalang ako sa tawag niya dahil gusto niya akong i-greet ng goodmorning, may pasok man o wala. Siya na nga ang nagiging alarm ko sa umaga eh. Isa pa yung pagtawag niya sa'kin ng 'love', inaamin kong kinikilig ako dun. Sino ba namang hindi 'di ba? Siya lang naman ang tumatawag sa'kin ng ganun pero hindi ko naman siya tinatawag nun. Nakakahiya kaya! Sabi niya endearment daw namin 'yun kapag naging kami na. Diba ang sweet niya? Magsabi ng hindi sasakalin ko. Chos!

Ano kayang itsura ng daddy niya? Hindi ko kase mapigilang isipin lalo na't makikilala ko siya mamaya. Sino kaya sa kanilang magkakapatid ang kamukha ng daddy nila? Jusmeyo! Abo't langit talaga ang kaba ko. Sana lang talaga totoo yung sinabi niya. Ayokong mapahiya sa harap ng buong pamilya niya. Wala na akong mukhang maihaharap nun.

Bago ako pumasok sa cr ay napadaan muna ako sa kalendaryo dito sa kwarto ko. October 4 nung nagsimula siyang manligaw sa'kin at huling linggo na ngayon bago matapos ang buwan ng October. Akalain mo 'yun malapit nang mag-isang buwan ang panliligaw niya sa'kin. Sina Shin kase at Cohen, ayun tumigil na sa panliligaw sa'kin matagal-tagal na. Kay Daron lang naman daw ang bagsak ko kaya wala nang saysay kung magpapatuloy pa sila. Hindi naman masama ang loob nila sa'kin, sa totoo nga ay mas naging close pa kami lalo at kaibigan parin kami. Minsan nga lang, nagseselos yung isa kaya hindi ako makalapit sa kanila kapag kasama ko siya. Wala eh, seloso future boyfriend ko. Yiieks.

" Anak, halika nga rito."

Agad naman akong lumapit kay Inay nang tawagin niya ako." Bakit po, nay? May problema ba?l?."

" Kailan mo ba sasagutin ang anak ng tita mo? Mag-iisang buwan na yang nanliligaw sa'yo. Mukhang desidido naman siyang makuha ka, ano pa bang hinihintay mo?." tanong niya habang naghuhugas ng pinggan.

Bumuntong hininga naman ako."Ilang araw kona yang pinag-iisipan, nay. Wala naman kase akong maisip na tamang tyempo kung kailan ko siya sasagutin. Hindi naman 'yun problema sa'kin eh, alam kong gusto niya talagang makuha ako nung una pa lang niya akong niligawan. Hindi nga lang ako makapaghanap ng tamang oras at panahon."

" Bakit hindi nalang ngayon, anak. Tutal ngayon ka naman niya ipapakilala sa mga magulang niya, mas mabuti kung kayo na kapag napakilala kana niya sa kanila." suhestiyon naman ni Inay.

Napaisip naman ako." Hala! Nay naman, kinakabahan ako eh. Pa'no ko ba sasabihin sa kanya na kami na. Hindi naman pwedeng padalos-dalos, dapat may pa-intro pa."

" Kung mag-iisip ka agad ng sasabihin mo ngayon, baka makalimutan mona 'yan mamaya. Kapag nangyari na, saka mo lang maiisip ang sasabihin mo sa kanya. Hindi pa kase 'yan gagana ngayon dahil wala pa." Umupo naman siya sa harap ko pagkatapos niyang magpunas ng kamay.

" Char, sanaol expert." Pabiro naman akong hinampas ni Inay."Sige, tatandaan ko yung tips mo sa'kin nay. Mamaya kakausapin ko siya." dagdag ko pa.

" Goodmorning, tita." Biglang pumasok si Daron ng hindi kumakatok sa pinto, sabagay bukas naman 'yun eh. Pero kahit na....

" Goodmorning din, hijo. Aalis na ba kayo?." sambit ni Inay pagkatapos humalik ni Daron sa pisngi niya, tanda ng pagrespeto sa magiging manugang niya. Charot. Dami kong alam.

" Yes po, tita. Pwede kona po bang kunin yung anak niyo?." tanong niya. Mas napapadalas na ang pagt-tagalog niya ngayon.

Tumango naman si Inay." Oo naman. Kahit hindi mona siya iuwi, okay lang."

Agad ko naman siyang siniko."Grabe kana sa'kin, nay ah. Parang hindi niyo na'ko anak." pagmamaktol ko pa.

Nasa gitna kami ng byahe papunta sa kanila kaya mas dumoble lang ang kaba ko. Pinaglalaruan ko nalang yung kamay ko habang nakatingin sa labas. Malapit na kase kami sa kanila kaya hindi na ako mapakali. Napaigtad naman ako ng bigla niyang hawakan ang kamay ko kaya napatingin ako sa knaya.

" Stay calm, love. I'm here at your side." Binigyan niya ako ng matamis na ngiti at 'yun din ang ginawa ko.

Oo, kinakabahan dahil ipapakilala niya ako sa daddy niya pero hindi naman masyado. Ang kinakaba ko lang ay yung part na sasagutin kona siya. Takte! Baka maulol lang ako mamaya.

" We're here." Nauna siyang lumabas ng kotse para pagbuksan ako. Nakasuot kase ako ng off-shoulder white dress at pares ng black sandals. Dapat naka-formal attire ako dahil hindi toh isang normal na araw lang.

" Nasa'n sila?." Nilibot ko ang paningin ko sa loob at walang sino man sa kanila ang bumungad sa'kin. Ang tahimik naman.

" They're waiting for mom and dad in the airport. Their plane will land 5 mins. from now. Let just wait them." Umupo siya sa sofa at sinenyasan niya akong umupo sa tabi niya na ginawa ko naman.

Nilagay niya ang kamay niya sa balikat ko para palapitin ako lalo sa kanya kaya sinandal ko ang ulo ko sa dibdib niya. Pinaglalaruan ko ulit yung kamay ko dahil mas lalo lang akong kinakabahan. Pa'no ko ba 'to sasabihin sa kanya?!

" Is there any problem? Do you want to say something?." bigla niyang tanong. Napansin niya siguro na hindi ako mapakali.

Umupo naman ako ng maayos at tumingin ng diretso sa kanya."K-Kase ano.... matagal ko nang pinag-iisipan 'to kaso nahihiya lang akong sabihin sa'yo.... Gad! Nahihiya talaga ako." Tinakpan ko ang buong mukha ko habang nagpapadyak-padyak. Hindi ko kase talaga kaya!

Hinila niya naman ako at niyakap kaya tinanggal ko ang pagkakatakip ng kamay ko sa mukha ko." What is it, love? Hmmm? I'll listen to it. Don't be shy, I won't be mad nor angry at you." saad niya.

Huminga naman ako ng malalim at kinalma ang sarili ko habang nakasandal parin sa dibdib niya."Sinasagot na kita, Daron. You can stop courting me."

Ramdam kong bigla siyang natigilan at natahimik sa sinabi ko kaya lumingon ako sa kanya para tingnan ang reaksyon niya. Para siyang naestatwa pero kahit na ganun, mas lalo lang siyang nagiging gwapo sa paningin ko. Ganun ba talaga kapag inlove kana sa isang tao?

" W-What did you just say?." nauutal niyang tanong nang maka-recover na siya.

Napatawa lang ako at umiling." I won't say it again. You heard it loud and clear." Nagulat naman ako ng bigla niya akong sinandal sa sofa.

" You'll gonna say it again or I'll kiss you." Ngumisi naman siya sa'kin na ikinapula ng mukha ko.

" I-It's a yes." sagot ko habang nakatingin ng diretso sa kanya.

Napakagat namna siya sa labi niya at dahan-dahang ngumiti." You mean, we're officially together?."

Ngumiti naman ako bago tumango." Yeah. You happy?."

Bigla niya naman akong niyakap at hinalikan sa noo." Damn it. You don't know how happy I am, love. Thank you. I'll court you everyday even if you're mine already. I love you."

" Hmmm. I love you too." Pinagsiklop ko ang mga kamay namin at sumandal ulit sa dibdib niya.

Maya maya ay narinig namin ang sasakyan sa labas. Sila na ba 'yun? Nagkatinginan kaming dalawa at ngumiti siya sa'kin. Inalalayan niya akong tumayo habang nagkahawak parin ang kamay namin sa isa't-isa. Humigpit ang hawak ko sa kamay niya ng maglakad na kami papunta sa pinto.

" I got you, love. Okay?." Tumango naman ako sa kanya at humugot ng lakas loob at ngumiti.

" Ate!." Nagulat ako ng bigla yumakap sa'kin si Akkiro pagkapasok niya. Muntik na akong matumba dahil naka-heels ako at mabuti nalang nahawakan ako ni Dale sa bewang."Namimiss talaga kita, ate. Daddy's here, I'll introduce you to him." Akmang hihilahin niya ako ng hilahin rin ako ng kuya niya.

" I'm the one who'll introduce my girlfriend to dad, Akken. Step aside." sabi naman ni Daron na ikinalaki ng mata niya. Siniko ko naman siya dahil mukhang ipinagkakait niya na ako sa kapatid niya.

" I heard someone who said a girlfriend. Sino 'yun?." Bigla namang sumulpot si Raizer na may dalang isang bag, dala siguro ng daddy nila.

" Hala! Kuya, sinagot na ni ate Katria si kuya Daron. Sister-in-law na natin siya." Inaalog-alog ni Akken yung kuya niya kaya halos hindi na ito makahinga.

" What the heck?! Ano yung narinig ko, ha?!." Napatingin naman si Cohen sa'min pagkatapos ay sa kamay naming dalawa ni Dale." Fudge! Sabi kona nga ba eh. Mabuti at tumigil nga ako sa panliligaw sa'yo." dagdag niya pa at napakamot sa ulo niya.

" Whoah! Narinig ko 'yun ah. Congrats, pala." Pumasok rin si Shael na may dala-dalang dalawang bagahe." Dude, tulungan mo naman ako, oh. Don't be so unfair, you're not holding anything." reklamo niya kay Cohen.

" CHANDRIA!." Napaigtad ako ng may sumigaw sa pangalan ko." I missed you so much. Good thing you're here, I bought something for you." dagdag pa ni tita Elizabeth at akmang hihilahin ako ng pigilan siya ni Daron.

" She's with me mom. I'm going to introduce her to dad. She's now my girlfriend." diretsong sagot ni Dale sa kanya na ikinalaki ng mata ni tita.

" Oh my god! Hon, come here. You're eldest is going to tell something on you." Tawag ni tita sa daddy nila sa labas at tumingin ulit sa'min." I'm so happy for the both of you. Just tell me if my son hurts you, he'll be grounded for a year." Hinalikan niya ako sa pisngi kaya napangiti nalang ako.

" Thank you, tita." sagot ko nalang.

" What is it, hon?." Pumasok ang isang katangkarang lalaki at kamukhang kamukha niya si Daron ngunit mayroon din sa mga kapatid niya. Bigla tuloy akong natigilan ng bigla siyang tumingin sa'kin.

" Dad, she's my girlfriend. Her name is Katria." pagpapakilala ni Dale sa'kin sa dad niya.

Hindi ko alam kung paano siya babatiin. Gosh! Help me.
