7: Scrap Baby

As the days passed by to form a new week, Helpy realized that he was growing even fonder of the purple man known as Mike Schmidt, or rather Michael Afton as he was originally called. He would even consider them friends. Which was nice because other than Lefty and Henry, there weren't many people he would call friends. Sure, there were the other animatronics, but the ones he wanted to talk too were either not responding to him or just standing there...Lifeless almost. He eventually stopped trying every time Mike left, having a feeling that the robots there weren't like him.

However, today he had dreaded...It was another salvage day. He stopped wanting to do the salvages the day they fought back against him, wanting nothing but to kill him. Mike sure as heck didn't enjoy it either. He even asked Helpy one day why Henry even wanted them to do it.

"I...I don't know." Helpy had responded when in the office, dangling his feet since he was sitting on the table again, there was no chair for him after all.

Mike raised an eyebrow in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"Henry never told me why. He just said it was boring adult stuff. And, uhh, since I can't understand a ton of the things he writes down, I just listened to him." Helpy replied. "I heard him tell Lefty it was incredibly important, and I really wanted to help them! I don't just want to be the kid who pretended to help. So, I pleaded for Henry to allow me, and after a few thousand times, he gave me the job! Lefty didn't want me using a tasey thingy though. He was worried I'd hurt myself."

Mike smiled a little. "He really is like your brother, huh?"

"Yeah! He is! We were built on the same day after all. I think that's how human siblings work too, so we just called ourselves brothers!" Helpy said with a bright and cheerful smile.

'Note to self: Keep this bear young forever.' Mike thought to himself before seeing that his shift was finally over and he smiled. "We're outta here." Mike said happily as he stood from his chair and led Helpy out of the room, also thankful that Scraptrap and Molten Freddy seemed to be laying low. There was even a moment where Molten Freddy was near them, but walked away without an audio, which confused Mike and relieved Helpy.

The two froze in their place when they reached the Salvage Room. They were unsure if they should even enter the room and once again enter another death experience. Sure, they survived the last three times, but who's to say they would survive today? Fate sure as heck wasn't.

"...We have no choice, do we?" Mike asked, looking down at Helpy.

Helpy slowly shook his head. "No...No we don't." He whispered and then followed Mike inside the room, but bumped into his leg as they reached the table. "Umm, Mike?"

No response...

Helpy tilted his head, and then grabbed his own chair, hopped onto it and faced the animatronic and squeaked a little.

It was the most terrifying thing in the circus, a clown. It was supposed to represent a human girl with orange pigtails and red clothing. But instead, their body looked like multiple parts mashed into one being to resemble what it once was. Tears were everywhere on their legs, chest, and arms, one of them revealed their power core, which looked fragile. Finally, there was a giant lobster like claw on her hand, looking like that it could crush even steel with a single grip.

Mike knew this robot, which somehow wasn't too shocking. But this wasn't a look of fear he was giving to the clown, it was more of a look of shock...and hope?

"E...Elizabeth?" He asked quietly, slowly walking a little closer.

Helpy shook his head, trying to think of what animatronic in Freddy's history was named Elizabeth and looked like a scary clown lady. He remembered Henry mentioned a clown animatronic, but that was all. He never brought it up because he, himself, didn't know what its past was. "W-Who's Elizabeth...?"

Mike didn't seem to notice him and just stared at the robot as if he was in a trance. "Elizabeth, can...can you hear me?"

"Mike, how do you know them?" Helpy asked, not just talking about the clown in front of them, but rather the two other robots they ran into on their little journey.

"She...She was my sister..." Mike finally replied, not turning away from Elizabeth.

Helpy went wide eyed and then began to rapidly turn his head from Mike to Elizabeth, trying to figure out how they were related. Granted, the green zombie rabbit Scraptrap said that it was Mike's father, and he looked nothing like Mike.

Suddenly, a bright green glow emerged from the clown's eyes and the mouth slowly began to move. "It feels like...my birthday. DiD yOu HaVe A gIfT fOr Me?" She asked and then stood from the chair and suddenly swatted Mike away with her giant claw.

Mike slammed against the wall, already feeling lightheaded just from one swing of the giant and METAL claw.

"MIKE-" Helpy tried to scream, but his leg was grabbed by the clown's free hand and then dragged off his chair and the table and then lifted into the air, hanging from her hand.

Elizabeth looked at Helpy for a good minute and then snapped her claw shut. "You...remind me of someone. Someone I hate."

Helpy whimpered. "W-What are you going t-t-to do to me...?"

The scrapped clown lifted her claw and then snapped it shut again, giving the bear cub the impression she also wanted to kill him and chomp him into tiny pieces of plastic.

Helpy screamed and quickly kicked the terrifying clown in her face, startling her, but not harming her enough to lift the claw away or drop him. The claw began to slam shut over and over again, as if it were a wild animal snapping its jaws. Soon, the claw was close enough to snap him in half until Helpy screamed so loud that it hurt the clown's audio receptors, forcing her to drop the little bear.

The clown stumbled backwards, the noise replaying multiple times in her head, and that only made it worse. This gave the chance for Helpy to grab Mike's taser, jump into the air and shock the clown's open and revealed power core. The clown finally began to scream in tremendous pain as multiple volts of electricity went through her power core, causing it to explode and for her to shut down and fall onto her back.

Helpy landed on the wooden floor, not believing what he had just done.

Mike looked at the robot for a minute, and sniffled. His own sister was now just like his father...A bloodthirsty monster instead of a sweet little girl that loved to get ice cream. "...Helpy, let's go. My shift's almost over."

Helpy looked up at Mike, about to ask what was wrong, but decided that now...Mike just needed to be alone.
