It had been the course of weeks, and Mike's pizzeria had been successful! In fact, more successful than any other Freddy Fazbear's! Kids ran around having the time of their life while the smell of fresh pizza was covering the scent of the air and the best part? Not a single child went missing. Mike was obviously glad for that...Seeing Springtrap, or Scraptrap, or whatever the hell he called himself back again brought incredibly bad and evil memories. Back when The Fazbear Killer, his own father, took a child away from their loving mother and father by using the death of their beloved puppy to lure them away and murder them. They were a little girl around the age of 6. But...the murder and death never stopped. Not even when William Afton died, he came back and kept killing.
Helpy would always try his best to comfort Mike whenever he had those memories and while those memories he could not simply move on from...He appreciated the help. Helpy was the closest thing he had to a friend in that place. The little bear cub eventually began to share things while they were ordering and doing their shift. He told him all about his past life with his technical brother, Lefty and how he learned of Freddy's and aspired to be an entertainer one day...Just like Freddy Fazbear himself.
"Helpy, that's a nice dream to have." Mike said with a smile.
Helpy smiled back, rubbing the back of his head. "Well, shucks! What can I say?"
"So, you wanna be like Freddy? A robot bear like you forced to sing the same songs over and over again?"
Helpy pouted a little. "He doesn't sing the exact same songs, and even if he did, I wouldn't mind. My brother wants to entertain people as much as I do. I've just...always found it as a goal of mine. Yeah, I may be small, made of a light endoskeleton, and as you would put it: 'Too pure for this world' whatever that's supposed to say. But, I want to make people smile. Like Freddy and his predecessor before him. Fredbear himself." Helpy spoke with a soft smile, but little did he know, Fredbear and his diner didn't bring much joy as he thought he did...He certainly didn't bring joy to Mike.
Mike looked like he had seen a million ghosts when he heard that dreadful name and his purple color turned into a pale purple color.
"M-Mike?! Are you ok?!" Helpy cried out.
Mike seemed to be breathing a lot before nodding. "Y-Yeah, I'm just..." He was trying his best not to remember something...something he regretted to this day. "I'm fine, Helpy. It's grown up stuff again..."
'Grown up stuff' was putting it lightly. Back in the day of 1983, Fredbear's Family Diner was owned by his father, William Afton and his best friend and Helpy's creator, Henry Miller. Henry had created the animatronics for the shows, while William ran the business of the restaurant. Their families would often meet up with each other at the same place. Mike's little brother Timmy enjoyed the animatronics at first, but Mike being a teenager at the time thought the place was childish and often used a mask from one of the characters in the TV Show 'Fredbear And Friends' to scare his little brother half to death. Timmy then began to have nightmare and described Fredbear as black with razor sharp teeth and glowing red eyes.
But one day, when it was Timmy's birthday, Mike and his friends decided to pull a prank on him. Just a silly prank to scare him again, nothing else. Their father certainly would not have approved it, but it wasn't gonna hurt anyone...Or so they thought. The prank involved carrying Timmy up to Fredbear's mouth and seeing if he would cry. They called it 'the little man wanted to give Fredbear a big kiss'...However, they stuck his head inside the mouth since it was stuck open and would not close but when Timmy began to cry...Fredbear's springlocks went off and his mouth snapped shut, taking out his brother's frontal lobe.
Timmy died later that day in the hospital and Mike couldn't remember how anything went after that. He only described it as absolute chaos. Their mother Estelle Afton had left William after he had been actually been showing his dark side...Little did she know, he always had one, he just never showed it. Mike now knew that were was never a good side to William Afton. His friendly side was just another mask. He was a monster inside and out. There wasn't a doubt about that....This was proven when he created a machine that killed his little sister Elizabeth before Timmy died...And it was proven when William became the thing he created: A monster.
When Mike finally snapped out of his thoughts, he saw Helpy had actually hugged him to try and comfort him, obviously knowing something was wrong. His little top hat was almost falling off his head because of how close he had to be for the hug.
Mike chuckled a little. "You're affectionate..."
"I just...d-don't like seeing people sad." Helpy said, eventually breaking the hug and getting off of Mike's lap and back onto the table of the monitor.
"Thanks, Helpy. I think I needed-"
Suddenly, two voices that were howling with psychotic laughter filled both of the vents, and the mere sound sent shivers down Helpy's spine, and he quickly held onto Mike, scared of whatever the heck that was.
"W-W-What was that?!" Helpy whimpered.
Mike looked at both vents before going to his monitor and looking at the digital map and seeing two readings...There was something, or rather two somethings nearby. "Shit!!" He exclaimed.
There was even more laughter, so Mike, actually knowing what to do this time activated an audio lure to a place far away from them. Eventually, the laughter began to fade and there only the distant sound of metal clanking against metal. One of the earlier messages had said that if something had sneaked inside the restaurant, he would be able to use audio devices to lure them away. After all, the only thing that attracted most creatures was noise, and most of the tasks he had to do were fairly loud, which wasn't good. Thankfully, Mike had done this sort of audio thing in Fazbear's Fright.
When the little bear cub heard them walking away, he sighed of relief, but didn't dare let go of Mike.
"We better get out of here." Mike said, but then groaned. "The doors are locked until I finish these tasks." He grunted and then quickly got back to work. Thankfully, there were only three more things to do before he could log off and get this over with.
Helpy whimpered and whimpered, only being able to imagine what could happen to him if any of those animatronics got their hands on him. But it seemed like his imagination would soon become reality, because an all too familiar evil laugh began to echo, but this time it was even louder.
"TOGETHER AGAIN!!!" The voice laughed and then the bear covered in wires hopped out again, his eye glowing red with hatred and a lust for blood, things Helpy or Mike didn't have as of that day.
Helpy screamed at the top of his voice box, and Mike took his taser and tried to shock the creature, but they used a wire tendril to catch his arm and throw him against the wall. "REMEMBER ME, MIKEY?! HAHAHAHA!!!!"
Mike groaned and got up but was slashed in the face by boney claws and knocked unconscious.
"MIKE!!!" Helpy cried out but was grabbed by the head and lifted into the air by Scraptrap, who was grinning an evil and toothy grin, his sharp fangs showing.
"Well, well...Is the child all alone again?" The demon cackled.
The bear laughed and laughed, unable to contain himself before slithering other, his eyes showing that he had been waiting for this day.
Helpy tried to scream, but he was thrown onto the metal floor by Scraptrap, where the bear used his tendrils to tie his little body up like some kind of snake. The bear cub struggled, but could not get out.
"Not now, Molten Freddy. You'll get your time to take out this...imposter..." Scraptrap said, not even knowing what Helpy was himself.
Molten Freddy growled at his master, knowing full well that he used to want to murder him, but ever since they had an encounter and he had surrendered himself to Scraptrap, he had no choice but to obey, so he loosened his grip.
"W-W-What do you want from us?!" Helpy whimpered, obviously crying tears of oil.
Scraptrap became annoyed at his crying and slashed him in the face, creating a scar on his exterior/his face. "That is none of your concern, brat. In fact, I believe we are not even after you....We're after HIM." He said, pointing at Mike. "He is the only thing stopping us from doing what we're created to do."
"A-And...w-what's that...?"
Molten Freddy giggled and his voice changed to one of a show host with a megaphone. "Things that your tiny mind can't conceive!!"
Scraptrap nodded before turning to Mike. "And if we want that...We're gonna need both of you gone." He turned to Molten Freddy. "Kill him."
Molten Freddy laughed and raised his jaw filled with sharp fangs and as Helpy was about to scream, he came up with a plan and bit down on the tendrils that was tying him up. In pain, Molten Freddy screeched, his possession allowing him to feel the pain or damage that his vessel would feel. With that, Helpy managed to escape and dodge Scraptrap's slash of his claws. And when the two were about to charge, Helpy used the audio lure, desperately hoping it would work.
Suddenly, the monsters went still and Molten Freddy's head twitched. "C-ChIlD dEtEcTeD." Then, the mangled mess slithered off while Scraptrap went into the vents, his systems preventing him from staying as well.
Helpy made a huge breath of relief and then realized the tasks were finished. He forgot that they could have more than one thing done at the same time. The little bear cub then turned to Mike and ran over. "Mike?! Mike!!" He exclaimed as he shook his friend.
Mike groaned, his head feeling like it was trying to pound out of his skull. "Helpy....? What...What happened? I feel like a skeleton came to life and punched me in the face."
"It's a long story, but we need to get out of here!" Helpy exclaimed, helping Mike up and then urging him out and then locking the door behind him.
Mike was confused and trying to remember what happened...But all of that changed when he saw the big scar on Helpy's face. "Helpy, your face!"
"H-Huh? What's wrong with my face...?"
"There's a scar. Hold on, I'll fix it." Mike said as he took Helpy's hand and walked him to the Parts And Service room.
