"They're going to keep him overnight just for observations. I think it would be okay for you guys to go on home." Kelsey says as they walk back into the ER waiting room.

"No, I'm not going anywhere until I get to visit Rob." Tim says, shaking his head as he finds a seat.

"Honey, it's late. They said he'll be fine. I'll let you know of any changes." Kelsey says.

"Yeah, I know what they said but I still ain't going nowhere until I get to talk to him." Tim replies.

"You've been back there the whole time and none of us has even got to go visit him." Austin joins in the discussion.

"Well, I am his girlfriend." Kelsey says.

"Yes, that's true but with all due respect Kelsey, we are his family." Tim argues back. "After Betty passed away, we didn't know what was going to happen to us. Our biggest fear was being kicked to the streets again. But we promised no matter what happened that we would stay together. We even went as far as cutting our fingers and pressing them together becoming blood brothers. Rob is our brother."

"Guys, Rob will be released in the morning." Chris says. "You'll be able to see him then."

"Let me ask you something, Chris." Tim says as he turns to the older Rupp's voice. "If that was Adam back there, would you be satisfied with only me getting to see him?"

"You have a point there, Tim." Chris nods.

"Why are we even arguing about this." Kelsey says, shaking her head.

"No one is arguing. Tim and the guys were just stating their case." Adam says as he stands and takes Tim by the hand. "Come on, guys. I'll get you in to see Rob."

Adam leads Tim, followed by Austin and Chance, over to the nurses' station.

"Excuse me, miss? Could you tell me if Rob Lundquist has been moved to a room yet?" Adam asks politely.

"I believe he has." The nurse says as she checks on her computer. "He's in room 362. But only two are allowed at a time."

"Okay. Here's the problem..." Adam says as he leans on the counter. "Tim, here (pointing to his boyfriend), is blind. Chance (pointing to the mute) is mute and only speaks sign language. And this is Austin. He's deaf but works as an interpreter for Chance. They would really love to see Rob if only for a few minutes."

 The nurse looks at the brunette that was staring blankly in front of him. She then looks at the bearded man wearing the snapback. He does some sort of hand sign that she did not understand.

"He asked 'Please'." Austin says with a pleading look.

"He's in room 362." The nurse says with a smile.

"Thank you." Adam smiles and nods at the nurse. "Chance? Hold on to Tim and make sure he doesn't get separated from you guys."

Chance nods and takes the blind man by the arm and leads him toward the elevator.

"What room did she say?" Austin asks as they enter the elevator.

"362." Tim answers.

Austin nods even though Tim couldn't see him. He presses the button for the third floor.

Rob flips through the channels trying to find something interesting to watch. He couldn't help but wonder why the guys hadn't come to visit him. He had been here for several hours and only Kelsey had visited. His thoughts were interrupted by a light tap on the door.

"Come in?" Rob says.

The door opens and Chance walks in leading Tim, who was followed by Austin.

"Hello there, strangers." Rob says. "I thought you guys had forgotten about me."

"Well, we would have been here sooner but someone was hogging the visitation time." Tim sasses, still a little aggravated with Kelsey's actions.

"What?" Rob asks as he mutes the tv.

"Nothing." Chance signs before smacking the blind man on the arm.

"So how are you feeling?" Austin asks with a smile.

"Much better." Rob nods but his eyes were glued on the man rubbing his arm. 

"The doctor said you had gas." Austin adds.

"What??" Rob laughs.

"I think he only caught bits and pieces of the conversation." Tim chuckles.

"Tim, what did you mean by someone hogging the visitation time? Were you referring to Kelsey?" Rob asks. Was his girlfriend the reason why they haven't been to see him?

"Forget I said anything, Rob." Tim sighs as he shakes his head.

"Is she why you guys haven't come to visit? I was about to get really pissed at you." Rob says.

"It's no big deal. She just wanted you all to herself and I blew it all out of proportions. You know how I am." Tim says with a smirk.

"You gave us quite the scare." Austin says, successfully changing the subject.

"I gave myself a scare." Rob chuckles.

"So what are the doctor's orders?" Chance asks.

"I have to start watching what I eat." Rob says with a pout.

"That sucks." Tim chuckles.

"You telling me?" Rob laughs.

"Well, listen...." Tim says as he stands and reaches out for Rob's hand. "Hospital rules are only two visitors at a time. Adam talked the nurse into letting us come in together. He sort of played on her sympathy. But we promised not to stay long."

"Yeah, you need your rest." Austin nods.

"I can rest better now that I got to see you guys." Rob smiles.

"We'll see you when you get home." Chance says.

"Are you guys not coming to pick me up?" Rob asks.

"What? Are you kidding? And take that privilege away from Kelsey?" Tim asks with a raised brow.

"Timmy." Rob scolds as he smiles and shakes his head. Tim could be a sassy asshole at times but that's the Tim that the guys know and love.

"Sorry." Tim smiles. "I promise to behave. I feel a lot better now that we got to visit you."

"Me too." Rob says as he squeezes the blind man's hand. "I love you guys."

"We love you too." Tim says as he gives Rob a hug.

"See you in the morning." Chance signs before reaching for Tim's arm.

"Goodnight." Austin says as he too hugs the bearded man.

"Goodnight, guys." Rob waves as the threesome leave his room.

He smiles as he turns off the tv and pulls off his glasses, laying them aside. He will rest comfortably now that he had got to see his family.

Adam grins as he sees the happy threesome coming out of the elevator.

"Well, you guys look much happier coming out of the elevator than you did going in." Nate chuckles.

"Is Kelsey here?" Tim asks.

"Yeah, Sweetie, I'm right here." Kelsey says as she reaches out and touches him on the arm.

"Okay, listen. I want to apologize for earlier." Tim says as he runs a hand through his hair. "I really shouldn't have gotten smart with you."

"No, Honey. I should be the one apologizing. I was being selfish, I know that." She says as she takes the blind man by the hand. "I was forgetting the fact that you guys have been together for a long time. You're connected. You lean on each other when you're weak. You were wanting to give Rob the support that you've always given each other and I was taking that from you. And I'm so sorry."

"So will you forgive me for being such an ass to you?" Tim asks with a smile.

"If you forgive me for being such a selfish idiot." Kelsey says as she gently squeezes his hand.

"I forgive you for being a b*tch." Tim chuckles.

"And I forgive you for being such an asshole." Kelsey giggles as they seal the agreement with a hug.

"Now that that's all settled, can we go home?" Adam asks as he lays his head on his lover's shoulder. "I'm sleepy."
