"Can we open gifts now?" Austin asks as he bounces anxiously in his seat.

"I don't know. Would yall rather sing some Christmas songs or bake cookies or....." Chris says with a wicked smile.

"NO!" The four handicapped men shouted causing the others to laugh.

"Don't tease them, Chris." Kelsey laughs.

"Okay, we'll go in alphabetical order. Austin, you first." Chris says causing Tim to pout. 

"ALRIGHT!!" Austin yells with excitement as he runs to the tree to find his gift. "D*mn, this is heavy." He says as he picks his gift up and lugs it back to his seat. "Heaven, help me. It's from Tim."

"I hope you like it." Tim says with a smile.

"What is it? Bricks?" Austin laughs as he begins to unwrap his gift. His jaw drops when he sees what Tim had got him. "Oh, my God. You remembered."

"Well, you said you wanted to start lifting weights. So I thought I'd help you out by getting you some." Tim smiles.

"Thank you so much. I love it." Austin smiles as he goes and hugs the blind man.

"Okay, Chance. Your turn." Chris says.

Chance goes to find his gift. He nods his head at Rob and smiles when he sees the gift was from him.

He begins to grin when he sees a new Xbox and a few of the latest games.

"Thank you, Rob. This is awesome." Chance signs with a huge grin.

"What did he get?" Tim asks.

"A new Xbox and some games from Rob." Adam answers.

"Well, we won't be seeing Chance for awhile." Tim chuckles.

"My turn!" Rob says as he rolls his chair over to the tree. 

"Ohhhhh, Austin, thank you so much. I'm glad you were paying attention to my hints." Rob laughs.

"What is it?" Tim asks.

**a/n: I don't know if anything like this really exist but this is fiction so it does here. **  

"It's a virtual reality headset and some virtual reality movies." Rob answers.

"What does that mean?" Tim asks. He had never heard of such a thing.

"You wear this headset when you watch these movies and it's like you're there. It's so cool." Rob says as he looks through the movies.

"Oh, okay, if you say so." Tim smiles.

Chance goes to get Tim's gift and hands it to Adam. He takes Tim's hand and lays it on his.

"This is from me. I hope you like it." He signs as Adam hands the gift to Tim.

"I'm sure I will, Chance. Thank you." Tim says as he tears at the Christmas wrapping. "Are these .. are these books?" He runs his hand over one.

"Baby, they are books on audio. I helped him pick them out. Famous actors and actresses read the books." Adam says.

"Really? I've always wanted some of these. But .. my headphones have a short in them." Tim says as he runs his hand over some of the titles written in braille. "I'll have to get me some more before I can listen to them."

"No need to. He got you a new set." Adam smiles as Chance hands him the headphones.

"This is awesome." Tim smiles. "These are classics too. Wait. This one is a collection of Edgar Allen Poe. If you need me, I'll be in my room listening to James Earl Jones reading 'Tell-Tale Heart'. I love it, Chance." Tim reaches out and hugs the mute's neck.

Kelsey served everyone eggnog and holiday snacks as they looked over the gifts they had gotten. Everyone was very happy with their gifts.

"Well, guys, it's getting late." Chris says as he smiles at Nate. "It's time to spend the rest of Christmas Eve with our significant others and have our own private Christmas."

"Sounds good to me." Adam smiles and takes Tim by the hand. 

Each couple heads to their own room to open gifts with their boyfriend/girlfriend.

"Did you like the gift that Chance got you?" Adam asks as they walk into their bedroom.

"I loved it. I get so sleepy reading. It takes forever to finish a book." Tim says as he sits down on the bed. 

"Well, now, you have someone to do the reading for you." Adam smiles as he sits down next to his boyfriend. "Do you want to open gifts now or wait till morning?"

"We can do it now if you want." Tim answers.

"I was hoping you'd say that." Adam says as he goes to get the gift he had gotten for Tim.

Tim gets up and goes to his dresser. Digging around in one of the drawers, he finds the gift he had hidden then joins Adam back on the bed.

"Merry Christmas, Angel Face. I hope you like it." Tim says softly as he hands Adam his gift.

Adam kisses Tim softly on the cheek before he starts to unwrap his gift.

"Oh. My. God, Tim." Adam says, barely above a whisper as he opens the box to see a beautiful gold chain.

"This is absolutely beautiful." Adam says as he removes the chain from the box.

"I'm pretty sure I know what it looks like and I thought it would look good on you." Tim says with a smile.

"Can you help me put it on?" Adam asks.

"I'll try." Tim says. After several attempts, Tim finally manages to get the chain fastened around his lover's neck.

Adam hops up to run to the bathroom to look in the mirror.

"Honey, this is gorgeous." Adam calls from the bathroom.

"I'm glad you like it." Tim smiles as Adam comes back into the room.

"I love it." Adam says as he pulls Tim's gift out of his pocket. "Merry Christmas, Sweetheart."

Adam sets the small gift into Tim's hand.

"It's awfully small." Tim chuckles as he feels the gift in his hands.

"Well, you know what they say, 'Great things come in small packages'. Open it." Adam says with excitement.

"Is this...is this a ring box?" Tim asks, feeling of the small velvet box.

"Open it. You're killing me here." Adam chuckles.

"It is...it is a ring." Tim says, his eyes widening in shock. He runs his finger over the ring and feels a design that had been engraved. "Is this a heart?"

"It's a heart being held by two hands." Adam says. "Tim, you hold my heart in your hands. It's a promise ring."

"I'm not sure if I know what a promise ring means." Tim says, still feeling of the design.

"It signifies my commitment to you. It promises my love, my faithfulness, and a promise to one day very soon to propose." Adam smiles. "You might say it's a pre-engagement ring."

"Seriously?" Tim asks as he turns toward his boyfriend with a huge smile on his face.

"Yes, seriously." Adam chuckles as he takes the ring from Tim. Taking Tim by the hand, he slowly begins to slide the ring on his finger. "I love you, Tim Foust. More than you'll ever know."

"I love you too." Tim says with a quiver in his voice. He quickly wipes his eyes then reaches into his jacket pocket. He pulls out the small twig of mistletoe that Kelsey had given him. "I guess now is a good time to put this into use." He smiles as he holds it above his head.

"Perfect timing." Adam chuckles before leaning in, kissing his lover passionately.
