FLAWS

k so,,you have a character with a lot of flaws. a complex, 3 dimensional, and troubled character. "they're problematic so we hate them!" the fandom cries

so you give them a character with no flaws "what a boring mary sue! we hate them" the fandom cries

but seriously tho....no character can be totally pure. they dont HAVE to be pure. flat characters make flat stories. flaws push the story forward and makes conflict WHICH YOU NEED

this whole "[x] is problematic bc she did something bad!!!" is stupid and these ppl dont understand writing
