F/A - Favourite Animal

Josh's POV: "We'll have to do this again sometime." She suggested.

"Yeah, we will. How about Saturday?" I asked hopefully.

"Yeah, Saturday sounds good. So it's a date?" She giggled.

"Yes, it is!" I replied proudly.

Your POV

It is now Saturday and I'm hanging out in my apartment with Lily. My mind still couldn't process what had happened last night.

I. WAS. GOING. ON. A. DATE. WITH. JOSH. DUN.

"Y/N, are you ok? You've been staring at that wall for 5 minutes straight." Lily asked 

"Oh? Yeah, I'm fine." I said, snapping back into reality.

"Are you sure?" She questioned, knowing something wasn't right.

*Sigh* "Fine. I guess I'm a bit worried about Josh not liking me once he gets to know me." I admitted.

"Really? That's what you're worried about? You shouldn't be worrying about that. If he doesn't end up liking you for some insane reason then he is missing out on a really amazing girl!" Lily protested.

"Are you sure?" I ponder.

"Yes, I'm sure now you need to get ready for your date with Mr Dun, Miss L/N!" She ushered me upstairs and into my room. I had picked out my outfit earlier and it was laying on my bed neatly.

I put my outfit on and applied some light makeup. I (Straightened/Curled) my hair and put a beanie on. As I walked downstairs it turned to 4 o'clock and the doorbell rang. I immediately knew who it was as I rushed over there. Before I turned the handle I checked my outfit in the mirror, brushed it down and told myself not to worry.

"Salutations, Y/N." Josh greeted. 'Classic Josh' I thought.

"Salutations to you too Josh." I 

"It's a surprise," Josh smirked. I just groaned in response getting into his car.

As we were driving we sang to the songs on the radio, talked about random stuff and enjoyed ourselves. The ride was about half an hour long.

"Jooooosh~ Where are we going?" I asked yet again, in my sweetest voice with my biggest puppy dog eyes.

"You'll find out in a minute we're nearly there." Josh chirped.

As we turned the corner and pulled up into the car park I noticed we were at a fair. The bright lights filled the sky with colours, popcorn, burgers and hot dogs could be smelt in the air, screams from the different rides could be heard. It was a warm and friendly environment.

"Are you ready to go in?" Josh questioned, extending his hand for me to grab.

"Yes, I am" I giggled at his gesture and took his hand.

We walked through the gates to the fair and the first thing I saw was a cute little F/A plush that I had to win. I dragged Josh through the crowds and over to the booth that had the plush in it. It was a blue and white striped stall that had milk bottles lined up at the back.

"Ah miss, would you like a go at this game? Just $1 for 3 throws." The man asked.

"Yes, please," I answered, determined to win the plush. I handed him the money and tried my luck at the game. Unfortunately, the first throw missed, the second throw knocked the top one off and the third throw missed as well.

"Unlucky miss, maybe next time." He said as he served the next people.

Josh must have seen the disappointment in my eyes because he handed the man a dollar and picked up the three balls. The first ball missed by an inch, the second knocked the three bottles but they didn't fall over. Josh tuck a deep breath and threw his last ball. It flew through the air and hit the stack right in the middle with such a strong force that they fell over completely.

The man asked Josh what he wanted for a prize and he saw me look at the F/A plush. He pointed to it and the man gave it to him. Once Josh received it he turned around and handed it over to me.

"Here you go, I saw you looking at it and you seemed really sad when you didn't win so I thought I should win it for you," Josh said smiling.

"Thank you, Josh." I thanked.
