Chapter Twenty
Lily's POV

I stood there in shock with the note in my hand.
Our parents killed themselves.
They put us in that orphanage.
That explains why they didn't want us to come when we dropped at school they knew they were gonna get in the car crash they planned this whole thing.
I started to cry but I knew I had to leave soon, I put the note in my pocket and grabbed the $100 from the safe, I went in my room and grabbed the $20 I had in my bank.
I looked at the clock and saw it has 5:30pm I spent half of free time here! I put the money in my bag and left the house a ran down the street to the orphanage, I grabbed the latter we hid in the bushes by our window and climbed up, I kicked the latter down and it landed in the same spot it was before I sat on my bed and beginning to cry.
Elsie came in and asked what was wrong, so I handed her the note I few seconds later Elsie was sitting next to me crying.
Everyone else came in (Violet, Rose and Kathleen) and read the note and started to cry.
The bell rang for dinner and we all went down, we couldn't really eat after reading the note, after what seemed like forever dinner was over and we went to bed.

~next morning~

I woke up and had tear stains on my face, I had to go down to breakfast soon, so I used makeup to cover it up till it went away.
I ate and went to "school"
I waked to the mall and went to work.

~7 hours later~

I got five dollars an hour and kat give me the money after my shift.

Ka-"Here." She said as she handed me the money.

I open it to find $35.

"Wow I'll only need to work a few days."

Ka-"Hey, you just got like 3-4 day worth of pay."

"Thanks" I say as I hug her.

"See you tomorrow" I say as I walk to school to get a ride back to the orphanage.

K-" How was work?"

"Good we should be out in a little over a week."

V-" That's good." She said as she looked down.

The bell rang for free time and everyone left the room.
