Chapter Sixteen
Lily's POV

I went into my room to pack after about twenty minutes I was almost finished
I grabbed a picture of me, my sisters and our parents, I missed them so much and I never got to say goodbye.... I felt a tear roll down my cheek when Rose knocked on my door, I quickly wiped my tears and said come in.

R-"I'm done packing."

"Ok, Rose can I ask you something?"

R-"Sure, Lily."

I gesture her to sit on my bed.

R-"What is it?"

"How come you were so eager to go to the orphanage?"

R-"I don't know I just didn't want to leave you plus.... I didn't want to see Daniel again."

"But Rose you're gonna see him at school and I don't think you understand how this works we're gonna stay in the orphanage until someone adopts us or we turn eighteen, and even if we get adopted that's means we might have to move go to a different school, live with a different family and people are most likely to only adopted one of us, that's how this works I went back and forth between families because they ended up not wanting me anymore or that had there own kids and sent me back."

By the time I was finished talking I started to cry from all the memories.

R-"I..I didn't know this is how that worked. I thought it would just be like moving again, I didn't realize that I might never see my family and friends again."

Rose started crying and I gave her a hug.
When I finished packing we sat on the couch and watched TV 
(for maybe the last time, I wonder what Rose will think about only being able to watch TV for one hour a day.)

~Two hours later~

I got up to take a shower and when I got out Rose was asleep on the couch, I walked over and put a blanket over her and kissed her on the forehead.

"Good night Rose." I said before I went to bed.

~The next morning~

I woke up and made breakfast before we went to school, Christian picked us up and I told him what happened.

C-"I want to go with you to the orphanage."

"I'm sorry Christian it's a girls only orphanage the only guys there are the ones who work there."

C-"Then I'll get a job there."

"I'm sorry it's family owned."

I feel bad, all I'm telling him is that I can't see him anymore except for school (but we have almost all the same classes together) When we got to school we dropped Rose off and walked to our first class.
