Chapter Three
"Hey! Watch it!" yelled a woman from the kitchen window.
He watched the window with curiosity; he had always been a curious little boy. He was only ten years old when his life felt different.
His parents had finally separated after years of pain they inflicted onto each other; his parents were surprised he had dealt with it as best as he was.
He saw a little girl dressed in pink overalls; her red hair pulled back into two curly piggy tails step out the front door.
She saw him staring her.
He watched as she studied him, he wore a baggy t-shirt and pants that felt several sizes too small.
"Don't you dare cross that road!" He heard the same woman yell.
He watched as the little girl sat down on the grass, he watched as she crossed her arms.
