I felt bad for how she was begin treated.
I hated her for what she did to us.
But she didn't deserve this.
I went to her as she was begging for food and money.
I told her I forgive her.
And I invited her to stay at our house.
She accepted my forgiveness.
She apologized.
And together we went home.
I made her feel welcome.
And I told you to be on your best behavior.
I got her cleaned up and into new clothes.
I gave her food.
And we gave her a roof over her head.
She helped around the house.
I was glad for what I did for her.
Little did I know it would backfire.
