Glancing at the clock I sigh and collect my things.

"Katie what are you doing?" The teacher asked and I looked at the clock once more.

"We have a minute left and your just droning about procrastination, so I thought I can clean up and it wouldn't harm anyone." I answered.

"I can hold you as long as I can Katie." She fumed.

"Actually you can't. The dining hall will close in thirty minutes and you can't hold us past the dining hall, giving kids in this class enough time to eat." I remarked and watched my peers asking me to shut up.

"But I can hold you back." she smiled and looked at her watch. "Lets see you don't have any other classes after this my next class is in another hour. So I can hold you for another hour." I clenched my teeth trying to keep my temper in place. "Good, so where was I?" she asked as she looked at the clock. The kids sat there for a moment waiting. "I guess you may leave. Katie I would like a word with you, if you may." A small sigh escaped her lips as I climbed down the stairs to my teacher.

"Yes ma'am, how may I be of assistance?" I asked forcing my voice to be polite. My teacher smiled before answering.

"You were incredibly rude earlier today." The teacher started. I let a sigh escape my lips as she started to continue. "I expect this not to happen again. And to ensure this, you will present first thing Monday. Have a great weekend, and don't procrastinate." With that the teacher let me leave.

Matt sat with his friends in the living room watching a movie and waiting for Hunk to say dinner was ready. Matt kept looking around like he was looking for someone.

"Is everything alright?" I asked him. His eyes fell on me for a moment as he answered.

"Uh not really... where is Katie? I haven't seen her all day." Matt answered standing.

"Oh, she came home looking angry and asked to be left alone." Lance added trying to help. Matt walked to Katie's room and knocked on the door. He waited before knocking once more. He grabbed the door knob and walked in her room.

I huffed as the door squeaked open. I spun on my chair to look at the person combing in my room.

"What Matt?" I asked watching him sit down on my bed.  He smiled looking at my desk.

"You need a break. Come join us." Matt tempted.

"This is due Monday. I need to get it done so I can edit it." I growled trying to convince him to leave me.

"You don't need to edit it. Knowing you it'll be done perfectly. Take a break. This much stress isn't good." Matt said grabbing my chair and pulling me out of my room.

"Fine but if I get anything but an A, I will eat your hat." I threatened as I entered the living room.

The movie was a common romantic comedy. Leaving me bored. I came in halfway through it but I could price together what I missed. She wanted to be free he wanted to be with someone else. Plot twist they like each other. Hunk walked up to me and handed me a plate of food. I smiled thanking him before eating.

"Thanks Hunk for the delicious food!" I spoke as I washed off my plate. I started to pull my chair back to my room but Matt's yelling forced someone to grab it. I turned to see Shiro holding my chair. I sighed and let go of the chair. Grabbing my laptop and extension cord I moved back to sit on my chair.

I started to type and work on my project as they started to play games. The echoes of typing echoed in my ears as I worked. Hunk and Shay were the first people to leave. He left around eleven. Kieth and Shiro left next some time past midnight. Lance and Matt sat on the couch with Allura. Laughing and joking as they played the game. Matt left along side Allura around one. Lance sprawled on the floor talking to himself.

"So like if someone were to eat a hat how would they go about it?" Lance asked. He was talking to me.

"Dissolve it in acid. Titrate it so it's no longer deadly to drink. Then drink it." I answered. Lance sat up to look at me. I continued to type out my presentation. "Hey ca you look this over?" I asked handing him my laptop. His eyes followed everything as he scanned through it.

"This is for a presentation right?" He asked looking up at me. I gave a quick nod. "Then why are there paragraphs on each slide. Write those down on a paper then sum it up put the summer ups on the slides. When you go to present and see your summer up stuff. Then speak the paragraph connected. And add more pictures or you're going to be boring. And trust me Pidge, you're not boring." Lance answered handing me my laptop. I nodded and sighed. Lance stood and started to walk to his room. "Goodnight, don't stay up too long." Then he left.

I sighed moving to my room staring the laptop on my desk. Standing I go to walk on the roof. The cool air of night brushed against my face waking me up. The street lights were on but the houses and buildings were all dark. The local cafe will open in an hour. I jumped as the sounds of footsteps behind me. I turn to look who was approaching but pain thumped in my head as I fell to the ground.

We sat at the table talking and eating. Matt was leading the conversation and laughing with everyone. I glanced at my watch to see what time it is. 

"Shouldn't Katie be awake by this point?" I asked. They all looked at me. Keith was the first to speak.

"Lance isn't awake yet either." Kieth added. I stood from the table to wash my plate. As I placed the plate in the dishwasher Lance walked into the dining room.

"I'll check her room." Matt spoke standing. He moved to her door to knock. He knocked three times before entering her room. He came out and hurriedly grabbed his keys.

"What's wrong?" I asked watching him quickly move to leave.

"She's not in her room." Matt spoke leaving our dorms. I turned to the group.

"Let's start looking for her?" I asked and everyone excluding Lance stood to look.

"What's going on?" Lance asked rubbing his eyes. I gave him a summary of what I knew and Lance yawned. "She went to the roof after I went to my room."

"How do you know that?" I asked and Lance gave me a look.

"She rolled everything to her room and walked towards the roof. I left my room for a cup of water so I saw her walk up to the roof." Lance answered. I nodded and headed towards the roof. Katie was sitting on the roof rubbing her head.

"Katie? Did you sleep up here?" I asked walking towards her. She turned to look at me and I saw the dried blood on her head. I grabbed her hand and cupped her face. Scooping her up I bring her inside. I sit her down on the couch and tell Lance to watch her. Grabbing the first aid kit I move back to Katie.
