Meanwhile, after taking a much needed break from being an assassin, Loona wanted to be with Y/N and understand his life of being a scholar. Y/N was worried about how she would react, but he accepted her request and they headed for Y/N's new workplace. After a while, Y/N was now seen on his desk, looking over his laptop.

Y/N: ... Gotta add that to the surplus of the outer rim... *writes on paper* ... H-Hey, Loona, you doing okay in there?

Loona: I'm fine, N/N, but this dress is a little... revealing for my chest.

Y/N: Well, that's the only thing I was able to buy for you. Sorry, I couldn't get you a better one.

Loona: Well, at least this one doesn't show off my ass much.

Y/N: *blushes slightly* Y-Yeah. Right. I'd hate to have that happen to you.

Loona: ... And done.

She then walked out of the bathroom and was in a different attire as she wore a yellow striped dress.

Loona: *blushes* S-So? How do I look?

Y/N: *blushes* Like a beautiful teacher.

Loona: *blushing* Thanks.

Y/N: Oh, wait! Here.

He handed Loona a pair of square glasses.

Loona: You sure about that?

Y/N: You wanted to experience the life of a scholar, right? Gotta make you look foolproof.

Loona shrugged and tried them on.

Y/N: Wow. Now, you look better.

Loona: Thanks.

Y/N: Listen, Loonie, it's just for today. At the end of the day, if you don't approve of this, we don't have to do this again.

Loona: Alright. *thinking* I wouldn't mind doing this again. Honestly, I just want to be with N/N, but I gotta do something while I do that. I... guess being a scholar is a good hobby for me away from my assassin job, even if it is a little boring. Still, at least I get to be with N/N. Plus, I get to study how the mortal realm works.

Y/N: Loonie? You okay?

Loona: Huh? Yeah, I'm fine. Just... excited.

Y/N: Really? You're looking forward to this?

Loona: Well, there are a few things that I can learn while I'm here.

Y/N: A-Alright, then. Have a seat and we'll get started.

Loona did what he said and they both began to work hard. As time went on, Y/N did what he could to make things simple for Loona to understand and to his surprise, Loona was really into this and understood everything. After a while, Y/N showed Loona the animal anatomy and they finished.

Y/N: Wow, Loona. You've taken a sudden interest.

Loona: Well, you are a pretty good instructor.

Y/N: Instructor? I prefer teacher.

Loona: Alright, then, "Mr. L/N".

Y/N: Okay, try not to push it, okay?

Loona: *giggles*

Y/N: *thinking* I've never seen her like this. Before, she was always angsty and gothic and always spends time on her phone, being an asshole to everyone. But, now? Now, she's acting like a normal girl who likes to tease me and laughs. Although I do find this adorable, why is she acting like this? *normal* Hey, Loonie, can I ask you something?

Loona: Sure. Anything.

Y/N: ... Is there a reason why you're acting like this?

Loona: Like what?

Y/N: Well, you're kinda an emo goth girl who likes to do whatever she wants, but now, you're being normal like a teenage girl in middle school.

Loona: Is... that a problem?

Y/N: W-What? N-No, I-

Loona: *laughs* Relax, big guy. I'm just kidding.

Y/N: And now, you're joking around. Is something wrong?

Loona: Nothing, really. Guess you could say that I've... gotten a new fresh pair of eyes.

Y/N: Oh. Right. Well, Loonie, I really appreciate you being here with me. Thanks for taking the chance to try the scholarship.

Loona: For you, anything. *kisses Y/N's cheek* Love you.

Y/N: *smiles* Love you, too.

They continued to enjoy their time together as they learn some things. However, standing outside the window, BF/N was seen and watched the whole thing.

BF/N: *thinking* Are they really the same demons bent on global apprehension? What am I talking about? Demons are master manipulators! ... Then again, I'm... I'm not picking up any malicious intent from them. Nor do I feel any... evil. What the hell's going on here? I'll need to take a closer look at this.

He then left, but he made a noise and Y/N and Loona heard it.

Y/N: What was that?

Loona: ... *opens window & looks around* Nothing. I don't see anything.

Y/N: That's weird.

Loona: Yeah...

She closed the window and they continued their time together as BF/N walked away.
