After banding together to take down Graviton, the six heroes, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Ant Man, Wasp, and Y/N decided that they would do better as a team together rather than individually, and formed the Avengers instead of joining S.H.I.E.L.D. as Fury intended. Later, Enchantress broke in and manipulated the Hulk's mind, making him attack the team. Hulk then got control of the mind again and defeated both Enchantress and Executioner, but sadly left the team due to mistrust.

While trying to find and bring the Hulk back to their team, the Avengers found Captain America frozen in ice and unfroze him in the Quinjet. After helping the Avengers take down one of Arnim Zola's bio-engineered monsters, Cap became a member and leader of the Avengers. The team grew by one more after helping T'Challa, the Black Panther, reclaim the throne of Wakanda and free the country from Man Ape's tyrannical rule.

While searching for the Hulk, the Avengers detected unusual energy readings coming from a city where a vigilante named Moon Knight was operating. The readings indicated the presence of an alien artifact, which turned out to be the Toxin symbiote. Initially, the Avengers mistook Max for a potential threat due to the aggressive nature of the Toxin symbiote. However, after a brief but intense confrontation, they realized that Max was a hero struggling to control his newfound powers. Impressed by his determination and recognizing his potential, Captain America extended an offer to Max to join the Avengers, providing him with the support and training he needed to master the Toxin symbiote.

Tobias, known for his chaotic nature and impressive combat skills, was discovered by the Avengers during a mission to rescue hostages from a rogue A.I.M. base. His unpredictable fighting style and humor stood out, even in the heat of battle. Despite initial reservations due to his erratic behavior, Tobias showed unwavering loyalty and a surprising depth of tactical knowledge, earning the trust of key members like Captain America and Black Panther.

When a highly advanced and deadly piece of alien technology threatened global security, the Avengers needed an expert in tech manipulation. Elroy Copper, known for his unparalleled intellect and technopathy, was their answer. Elroy's collaboration with Iron Man during the crisis was instrumental in neutralizing the threat. His ability to understand and counter advanced technology impressed the entire team. Seeing the immense value Elroy could bring, the Avengers extended an invitation. Though often aloof, Elroy saw the strategic advantage of joining such a powerful team and accepted, bringing his expertise in engineering and strategy to the forefront.

During a chase after former S.H.I.E.L.D. operative Hawkeye (who had been accused of being a double agent working for HYDRA), they were interrupted by S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Quartermain who came to ask the Avengers to help S.H.I.E.L.D. take down The Leader, who since the massive supervillain breakout had taken total control of the gamma villain prison known as The Cube. Captain America, Elroy, Iron Man, Black Panther, and Wasp unfortunately became exposed to gamma radiation and were turned into Gamma Monsters again during the second gamma dome's expansion.

Y/N, Max, Tobias, and Thor were the only Avengers not affected by the gamma rays. Luckily, with help from the Hulk (who rejoined the team) and Hawkeye (who had proved not to be HYDRA's double agent), the Avengers triumphed and stopped the Leader's mad scheme of changing the world by creating a Gamma monster utopia in his image.

It was during this time that Y/N and Wasp began to start a relationship.

Once the dome is destroyed, everyone affected by the gamma radiation returned to normal. Hawkeye becomes the newest member of the team. After taking down the Leader and his minions, the Avengers were confronted by Baron Zemo and his Masters of Evil. Due to the Zemo's overconfidence, the Avengers defeated them all and the Masters of Evil were forced to retreat and plot their revenge on them.

The Avengers faced their first encounter with literal demons when Blackheart emerged, bringing a wave of darkness and chaos. His goal was to plunge the world into eternal night, using his dark powers to corrupt and control. However Y/N, Wasp and Thor succeeded in banishing him back to the depths from which he came.

Then the Avengers confronted Captain Marvel and the Sentry-459. Captain Marvel offered to assist them on taking down the Kree Sentry as proven that he has grown fond of Earth. Together, they defeated the Kree Sentry that attempted to wipe out all life on Earth for the Kree Empire.

The Avengers fought Kang the Conqueror in his intention of killing Captain America for ruining his future timeline (not knowing it was really a Skrull imposter) and take over the 21st century Earth so he can save his timeline and his love, Princess Ravonna. But the Avengers stopped him and saved the world from Kang's invasion. On the Negative Zone, Kang warned that Captain America's "betrayal" was only just the beginning and the worst was yet to come to the Avengers.

As Malekith the Accursed and Blackheart unleashed the Casket of Ancient Winters on Earth, they stopped the two and closed the Casket. But their victory was short-lived as the Enchantress and the Executioner recovered and left the artifact.

Then symbiotes Riot, Phage, Scream and Lasher arrived on earth to take over and unleash a symbiote invasion, till the Avengers stopped them and locked up Scream, Phage, and Lasher, while Riot escaped.

When Black Widow needs assistance from the Avengers to stop A.I.M. and HYDRA from obtaining the Cosmic Cube after she told them the truth about her infiltration of HYDRA. Together they stopped the two organizations from gaining the Cosmic Cube. But after the cost of victory, Maria Hill, now Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., despises the Avengers for not working with S.H.I.E.L.D. and will go to the US government for the Superhuman Registration whether they like it or not and as Black Widow was offered to join the Avengers, she refused due to being hunted by S.H.I.E.L.D. still branding her as a traitor and her fears that the Avengers will be accused for harboring a traitor in their group unless she find Nick Fury who's gone missing, she'll join them.

It was then Elroy went rogue to go find the scientist who had experimented on him and gave him his powers. He was accompanied by Y/N, Wasp, Captain America, Black Panther, and Ant Man.

As Ultron has gone rogue and turns on the Avengers, he took control of the Avengers Mansion's security systems and Iron Man's armors with the exception of the Mark I armor. The Avengers defeated him at the cost of victory as Thor was "killed" by Ultron. Ant-Man was really devastated about Ultron's programming gone haywire as Tony ordered him destroy every Ultron component and data files, all of them. Unfortunately, Ultron came back and retook control of Tony's armors and turned them against the Avengers. Ultron then took control of all of Earth's nuclear missiles and launched them in an intention of wiping everyone out. But the Avengers defeated him with the miraculous return of Thor. After Ultron's demise, Hank decides to leave the group due to his overconfidence about Ultron's capabilities about ensuring world peace and order.

But it all wasn't bad, Wasp found out she was pregnant with Y/N's baby. She had to leave the team temporarily due to her pregnancy and not wanting to endanger her and Y/N's unborn Child.

When the Masters of Evil guarded the Norm Stones on separate locations, they stopped them and destroyed the Stones but as a result of being teleported to the seven of the Nine Realms. As they were separated, they fought their way out and made friends with Asgardians, even helping them fight Loki's forces. On Asgard, they fought their way against evil forces and then confronted him. They defeated Loki by delaying him long enough for the others to find a way to take the Odinforce away from Loki. The Asgardians hailed them as true heroes.

Back now on Earth, the Avengers took their rest after the battle on Asgard. Unknowingly to the others, Captain America had been replaced by a Skrull imposter posing as him. The Skrull reported to the Skrull Mothership that the infiltration has already begun. The Avengers later teamed with the Fantastic Four to defeat Doctor Doom, who had kidnapped Wasp and Invisible Woman (with the latter being a Skrull herself).

A few weeks later, the Avengers helped Baron Zemo and the remaining members of the Masters of Evil defeat Enchantress. Then, the Kree came to Earth to take over, but were stopped by the Avengers. Afterwards, Ms. Marvel joined the team.

Weeks later, during Ms. Marvel's welcome party, Iron Man was abducted by Nick Fury, who revealed to him that Skrulls were infiltrating the Earth. Iron Man returned to Avengers Mansion, who immediately asks who the Skrull is. Y/N is the prime suspect, but when Ms. Marvel tries to take him into S.W.O.R.D. custody, he refuses. Black Panther leaves. Elroy quickly figures out the Skrull is Captain America and Tobias shoots him headfirst, and soon afterwards, once Iron Man realizes he can't trust anyone, leaves along with, Hawkeye, and Ms. Marvel.

Leaving only Y/N, Max, Elroy, Tobias, and Hulk.

Tobias, pacing with restless energy, couldn't contain his frustration. His usual bravado was tinged with anger, his hands clenched into fists as he muttered curses under his breath. "Can you believe them? Leaving us high and dry like that! Unbelievable! Selfish fucking assholes!" His voice rose with each word, echoing through the tense atmosphere of the room.

In contrast to Tobias' animated display, Elroy remained calm and collected, his mind already several steps ahead. Leaning over a holographic display, he adjusted a few parameters, analyzing data streams with precision.

"We need to fortify our defenses," Elroy suggested, his tone measured yet firm. "Enhance the mansion's security protocols, integrate real-time surveillance feeds from across the globe. If the Skrulls are infiltrating, we must be ready to detect them before they strike."

His fingers danced across a virtual keyboard, initiating system upgrades and contingency plans. "I'll start with a comprehensive scan of our current network. We can't afford any blind spots."

Max sat at the edge of the room, his body tense and his mind racing. The weight of the situation pressed heavily on him. His hands fidgeted with a small gadget, a nervous habit that helped him focus. He was deeply introspective, trying to process everything that had happened and what it meant for the team.

Hulk, on the other hand, stood in a corner, his massive frame casting a long shadow. His arms were crossed, his expression a mix of frustration and readiness. He was always a force to be reckoned with, and the betrayal had stirred a deep anger within him. Yet, he was also waiting for direction, knowing that his strength alone wouldn't solve their current predicament.

Y/N stood in the center of the room, feeling the weight of leadership settle on his shoulders. The Omnitrix on his wrist, a constant reminder of his responsibilities, felt heavier than usual. His heart raced, and he could feel the anxiety clawing at the edges of his mind. The departure of key members had left a gaping hole in their structure, and he was now expected to fill it.

"Okay, everyone, we... we need to stay calm," Y/N started, his voice shaky. He glanced around, seeing the expectant faces of his teammates. The pressure was immense. "We need a plan. Elroy, you keep working on the security upgrades. Tobias, your idea of striking back... we can't dismiss it, but we need to be smart about it."

He paced back and forth, trying to collect his thoughts. "Max, can you... can you come up with some strategies? We need your tactical mind right now."

Max nodded, his nervousness palpable. "Y-yes, I can... I'll start working on it."

Y/N took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. He looked at Hulk, whose presence was both intimidating and comforting. "Hulk, we'll need your strength. Be ready for anything. It's not like things can get worse."

As Y/N talked, a black race was watching and flew back through to dark night, where it's dark master waits for a dark purpose.

- - - - -

The dimly lit warehouse on the outskirts of the city buzzed. Blackheart made his entrance. Gathered before him were his chosen allies, each one a formidable adversary to the remaining Avengers.

Riot, Max's nemesis, loomed menacingly. The symbiote crackled, its tendrils twitching in anticipation.

Doctor Jekyll, Tobias's nemesis, stood with a sinister grin. His dual nature, a constant threat, was barely concealed beneath his calm exterior.

Klaw, Elroy's nemesis, leaned against a crate, his sonic disruptor at the ready. His eyes gleamed with a predatory light, eager for the chaos to come.

Icicle and Nocturnal completed the assembly, their expressions cold and unreadable.

Blackheart approached them, his eyes glowing with dark ambition. "Gentlemen," he began, his voice a low, dangerous purr, "the Avengers have split. The cracks in their foundation have widened, and now, the game has changed."

He paused, allowing the weight of his words to settle. "How goes Project Blackstar?"

Doctor Jekyll chuckled, a chilling sound that echoed through the warehouse. "It's nearly complete. Soon, we'll have the power to crush them once and for all."

Riot stepped forward, his voice a guttural growl."Good. Now let's go! I'm going stir crazy."

Klaw nodded in agreement, his fingers drumming against his weapon. "This is our opportunity. We need to strike now while they are divided."

Icicle and Nocturnal exchanged a glance, their silent understanding clear. Icicle spoke up, her voice like velvet in the darkness. "We'll need to ambush them. They'll never see us coming."

Blackheart's smile was cold and calculating. "I agree. And besides, Project Blackstar will be our key to ultimate victory."

He turned to face his team, his eyes burning with a sinister fire. "Prepare yourselves. The time for games is over. We will finally get what we want, and the Avengers will fall."

Blackheart led Doctor Jekyll and Icicle, down a narrow, dimly lit corridor towards a heavily reinforced cell. The walls seemed to hum with restrained energy, the air thick with anticipation. Blackheart stopped before the cell door, a cruel smile playing on his lips.

He pressed a series of buttons, and a viewing window slid open, revealing the ominous figure within. Blackstar, a creature of unimaginable power, stood in the center of the cell, surrounded by the remains of those who had been sent in to train it.

Doctor Jekyll leaned in closer, his eyes gleaming with a mix of curiosity and satisfaction. "Impressive. It seems Blackstar has become quite... proficient."

Blackheart nodded, his gaze fixed on the monstrosity. "Indeed. We have subjected Blackstar to the finest training regimes, courtesy of some of the most dangerous villains we could find."

He listed off the names, each one echoing with a sense of finality. "We sent in Whirlwind, Grim Reaper, Green Goblin, Living Laser, Anaconda, Armadillo, Bullbozer, Bushmaster, Kangaroo, Beetle, Gibbion, Absorbing Man, Abomination, and even Sabretooth. Blackstar learned from the skills, and we learned its limits, flaws and weaknesses. Those that survived provided invaluable feedback."

Blackheart paused, his smile widening. "Of course, most did not survive. But Blackstar is now perfect."

Icicle crossed his arms, his expression skeptical. "We've seen villain teams before. The Masters of Evil? What makes you think we'll succeed where they failed?"

Blackheart turned to face him, his eyes burning with conviction. "The Masters of Evil were flawed by design. They were a haphazard collection of individuals with conflicting goals and egos too large to manage. A group of randomly assembled villains."

He began to pace, his voice growing more intense with each word. "We, however, are different. We are elites."

He stopped, locking eyes with Icicle. "We do not suffer from the petty squabbles and infighting that plagued the Masters of Evil. We are united by a common purpose: to bring about the downfall of the Avengers and claim our rightful place as the rulers of this world."

Doctor Jekyll nodded, his smile sinister. "With Blackstar as our weapon, the Avengers won't stand a chance. Their division has weakened them, and we will exploit every crack."

Icicle's skepticism began to melt away, replaced by a cold determination. "And what of the remaining Avengers? Ten Alien, Moon Knight, Quibit, Freakshow, and Hulk?"

Blackheart's smile turned predatory. "They will be dealt with, one by one. By the time they realize what's happening, it will be too late."

He turned back to the cell, watching Blackstar with a sense of ownership. "Prepare yourselves. Our time is near. The Avengers' era is over. The age of Blackheart has begun."
