Blastoise slowly laid down for a nap as the day's sun rose above him. Seeing the yellow sun it stretched before looking around seeing You with your sleeping pokemon causing him to smile. The way your gentle spirit is with your mons made him remember when the two of you first became partners.

You and Squirtle slept on a twin size bed as your starter felt the sunrise. The small water type noticed the sun before turning around and pushing on your face causing you to slowly wake up.

"Good morning Squirtle." You smiled causing your starter to smile back.

"Squirtle." He greeted before jumping off the bed as you sat up and got changed.  The small water type walked up to you before handing you your hat.

"Thanks, Squirtle." You smiled as a familiar electric dog ran up your steps as it barked at you. "Good morning to you too Yamper." You smiled as Squirtle greeted the small pup.

The three of you walked down the steps as your mother greeted you with a smile.

"Good morning Y/n." Still trying to get used to you having a pokemon she looked at the water type. "Oh and good morning to you too Squirtle."

"Morning mom." You smiled as your starter walked to his bowl and handed it to you sheepishly causing you to smile since he felt weird asking for food. Squatting to his level you smiled and pet his head before grabbing his bowl and filling it up with pokepellets.

After breakfast, you and Squirtle ran out of the house and towards Leon's house as Raihan stood outside challenging Leon to a battle to which you stopped him as you told him it was your turn to battle him first.

"How about this Y/n. If you and Squirtle can beat me in a battle you and Squirtle can go first for the rest of the time your here before you move." He said as he got a Pokeball ready.

"You're on!" You smirked while Squirtle looked up in determination after it stared at Charmander.

You and Squirtle stood in front of Raihan as he showed his Pokeball before throwing it showing a Trapinch.

Leon and Charmander sat on the sideline as they watched for the battle to get going.

"Alright Squirtle, Tackle!" You said as your starter nod and rushed the Trapinch.

"Use sand attack!" Raihan ordered as the small ground type shot sand at Squirtles eyes making it miss the tackle as Trapinch dodged.

"Squirtle are you okay?" You asked as your mon rubbed its eyes.

"Bite!" Raihan ordered as his trapinch bit Squirtles tail making it stand up straight in pain as he ran around with Trapinch flailing around.

"Squirtle front flip to get Trapinch off!" You said as your mon jumped into the air and slammed its tail onto the ground causing Trapinch to let go. "Now come back and listen to my voice." You said causing the water type to run back to you and stop in front.

"Trapinch use laser focus," Raihan said as its Trapinch focused on Squirtle.

"Alright Squirtle when I say, use water gun." You said as Squirtle nod at you with its eyes closed.

"Astonish!" Trapinch ran towards your water type and just as it was about to attack you stopped the ground type in its tracks.

"Water gun!" You yelled as Squirtle fired the special attack sending Trapinch back.

"Oh no, you don't. Trapinch use bite once more."

"Retreat to your shell and use water gun." Nodding your starter returned to its shell and spun around as streams of water shot out of the holes. Spinning faster Squirtle spun to Trapinch as it used the streams of water as a booster.

"Trapinch you need to dodge it," Raihan explained but it was too late as Squirtle was right in front of it.

"Water gun!"  The small water type blew right up to Trapinch shocking the two opponents before firing a powerful Water gun from inside its shell causing him to be pushed back to his trainer and knocking out the Trapinch.

*end the song*

Popping out of it's shell Squirtle smiled as it's red eyes were clear of Trapinch sand attack. Smiling Squirtle jumped for joy as it looked back at its trainer giving him a thumbs up. The small water type whole world began to crumble as Giratina appeared roaring. But the new scene changed to show Lunala flying around as Y/n stood next to him with a Pokemon he remembered that broke the two of them emotionally. Next to him stood a legendary Pokemon in the alola region, Silvally.

"Gold use this dragon memory to help Lunala!" It's trainer yelled as Y/n tossed a disc into the RKS system on the left side of Silvallys head making it a dragon type as it's frills, fin, and eyes turned into a light blue.

In front of them Lunala was fighting a ultra beast named Guzzlord.

"Blastoise ice beam!"

Moving in front of its trainer the water type fired the ice attack as Y/n stood behind him as he smirked.

"Gold, use Multi Attack." Running forwards Y/ns alolan legendary ran and slashed at Guzzlord while Lunala flew around slashing at it.

This series of attacks cause Guzzlord to let out a roar before going into an outrage. Everyone ran out of the way but the Ultra beast had its sights on the trainer. Using its tail it began to destroy trees around the area blocking Blastoise and Gold from their trainer. Y/n backed up but felt the ground vanish underneath the heel of one of his feet. Looking behind himself he stood on a cliffside over crashing waves.

Blastoise powered up its cannons before shooting a massive hydro pump at the monster causing it to turn around. Gold ran and used the ultra beast as a boost to get to its trainer. Landing next to him y/n climbed onto his chimera as the two moved to the starter. Being them lunala flew up and began to use moongiest beam hitting the ultra beast but the monster shook off the attack before slamming its claws into the ground shaking everything around it and damaging Blastoise and Gold as they were hit by debris.

"Blastoise, Gold are you two okay?" He asked as they nod. "Damn it he's already taken out our four friends. This can't get any worst."

But it did right when he said that Lunala was hit by a powerful dark pulse knocking the legendary out.

"Nebby!" Y/n yelled as the three ran to the legendary Pokemon. The trainer and his Pokemon felt the entire area shake as Guzzlord stood towering over them.

"Blastoise ice beam!" He yelled as his starter went to fire the powerful attack but nothing happened. "No, you can't be out of P.P for that move already." He said as the ultra beast slapped the starter away sending it into a wall with multiple rocks falling onto the starter. "Blastoise!" The two remaining fighters ran to the starter as he looked at his trainer.

Ringing in the water type's ears drowned all sound to it as he looked up at his trainer as he had tears swell up in his eyes. The starter watched as he turned around and commanded Gold to attack the ultra beast. Slapping it's tail at Guzzlord the mon kept going and going.

"Gold use flamethrower!" Y/n commanded as his Pokemon released a powerful flame. But guzzlord wasn't gonna go out without a fight. Y/n looked in shock and worry as the ultra beast was able to hit the mon after missing two attacks sending it sliding to it's trainer.

Guzzlord stood in front once more charging up a dragon pulse as it lit up the forest they battled at. Y/n looked around seeing his Pokemon and lilys lunala on the ground making him look in despair. "Is this our end?" He thought but Gold stood up before looking at him making the boy tear up. Licking his face Gold smiled at him making the trainer hug him as he cried.

"Thank you.......thank you Silvally. You've battled alongside us and trusted me as a friend to fully evolve." Moving his hand Y/n pulled out Silvallys dragon memory as the legendary licked his tears away as if telling him it'll be okay.

Turning around Gold stood up proudly as the starter looked at the chimera with tears in its eyes.

"Silvally!" The trainer cried out as it got ready to attack with the seventeen-year-old trainer giving him it's final command. "Use ice fang!" Jumping into the air Gold encased its teeth in ice before jumping, taking the dragon pulse head on and biting the guzzlord. Y/n saw Guzzlord fall hurt causing the trainer to throw the beast ball he got from Wicke. It shook once, twice, and three times before being caught. Y/n returned Blastoise to it's Pokeball before running to Silvally as it laid in the spot Guzzlord was. The legendary Pokemon laid on its side a smile on its face and eyes closed. Y/n looked at his Pokemon as it stayed still.

Dropping to his knees he saw Silvally not moving or breathing. This cause the boy to drop to his hands now as he cried out in agony as his first legendary pokemon, one required trust to evolve, is now not responding to his cries or waking up. The boy cried as his tears landed on the pokemons fur.

"I'm so sorry Gold." He cried.

After stopping Guzzlord and helping Alola Y/n stood on the beach at Melemele island near the professor's house. In the sand was a small palm tree as Blastoise, Incineroar, Salazzle, Komoo-o, and Lycianrock midnight form stood around as Professor Kukui placed his hand on the boy's shoulder.

"I'm sorry Cousin. He was a good Pokemon." He reassured as y/n sighed.

"Yeah. He was a great partner. My team knows this personally. I hope Arceus is taking care of him." He wiped some stray tears.

"I'm sure it's just fine."

Three years later

Y/n and Blastoise turned around seeing Hao, Lilly, Gladion, team skull with Guzma, and the Kohana's.

"So you're leaving?" Lilly asked as he smiled.

"Yeah. Blastoise and I are ready to go back home. We have a trainer to beat and we've done everything there is to do here. Our living dex is filled and I got the four hundred shiny and four hundred regulars in my bag that my timelines professor will take care of. But now we need to go home to Galar so we can beat Leon." He said as Blastoise nod at him

Everyone smiled and hugged him saved for a couple of people.

"Keep Nebby safe and I trust the island Kahunas to keep the guardians safe." He said as they all nod making him smile.

"If you stayed a little longer we would've made you the water kahuna." Lana smiled making him chuckle.

"Thanks for the offer but I'm gonna have to pass. But I trust everyone to have fun." He smiled before turning to the newest Pokemon he had on his team while Hau has Sogaleo, and Lilly has Lunala, he has Necrozma.  "Just like Silvally I gained this rare Pokemons trust. I'll keep him safe same with Naganagel." He smiled before making his way to the professor's house as he placed a hand on the sand where a blooming palm tree stood. "Take card Gold. We'll see each other again someday." He smiled before Necrozma opened a wormhole. "Let's go home Blastoise and best Leon." He smiled as they entered the portal as Gold looked down at them with Arceus.
