I just woke up at 10 pm in the evening in a tree.

I just got down the tree and was walking along until I saw a poster with... Meggy.

Let's just say when the first time we met... Things were a lot difficult.

(Flashback, 2015.)

I was walking along until some weirdo came up to me.

Weirdo: "Hello, Do you want to do some Memes?"

I was a bit pissed off with him in my face, so I kicked him in the buttocks."

Weirdo: "Ow, my Ass!"

I was splattered with orange paint and it got all over my clothes.

?????: "Hey, Leave him alone!"

I look at the direction to the direction where the voice was.

I saw something I don't believe I've seen before.

Getting annoyed by this, I grabbed her gun and pushed her on the floor.

I then snapped her gun in half so she doesn't splat anymore paint on my clothes.

?????: "Hey, I needed that!"

Me: "Maybe you should've thought about it before you splattered me with your paint, you little... squid girl!"

?????: "The name's Meggy!"

Me: "WHATEVER!!!"

I was walking along until I saw two odd-looking people.

Me: "What're you two bloody looking at?!"

I walked away afterwards.

I was just walking along until I heard crying.

I looked to see Meggy and a group of people, probably her... f... Fri... friends.

I saw a coffin with what appears to be her... f.. friend.

No wonder she was sad.

It then triggers a memory of my parents.

(Flashback no one's POV, 2001.)

You were in a hospital, waiting for your mother and father to get out of the room.

The door opens in front of me.

At first, you thought they're ok but as you saw the doctor, you were wrong.

The man: "I'm sorry (Y/N), But your mother and father... (sigh.) I'm sorry to say but you won't be seeing them again."

Me: "W...what?"

You got on my knees and started to let your tears fall down.

(Your POV, end of the flashback.)

I then see her friends leave her alone, so I grabbed my chance to apologise to her.

I walked up to her and tapped her on the shoulder.

As she turned around, she was very different.

Meggy: "Oh... It's you."

Me: "Hello old friend."

I sighed, knowing I have to swallow my pride.

Me: "I know you're probably still mad about me snapping your gun in half but I want to tell you about something."

Meggy stares at me and asks "What do you want to tell me?"

I took a deep breath, knowing that I can't let my past take hold of me.

Me: "I want to be your friend."

Meggy: "Wait... what?"

Me: "I never had any friends growing up and my mum and dad died when I was 7. I never went to school because of that and I didn't know how to pay bills so I lost my home. I got really lonely since that day and I didn't know how to interact with others. I'm sorry for breaking your paint gun and for your friend."

She was surprised.

She was probably expecting something else but she recollects herself and looks in the distance.

Me: "She must've been a really good friend to you."

Meggy: "The best."

She looks at me and holds out her hand.

Me: "What are you doing?"

Meggy: "This is how people become friends. They shake each other's hand. So, friends?"

I looked at her hand and back at her.

I smiled and shook her hand replying "friends."

Meggy: "So..."

Me: "Oh, my name is (Y/N)."

Meggy: "So (Y/N), do you want to meet my friends?"

Me: "Yes."

(Five years Later.)

Ok, I think it's time to confess how I feel about her.

I talked to Axol and he told me just to be myself and to be honest about my feelings about her.

SMG4 lends a Tuxedo to me and Tari got me some orange roses for me to give her.

I walked up to her house, knocked on her door and waited for a few hours until I heard a voice.

?????: "(Y/N), what are you doing outside my door?"

I looked to see Meggy and I started to blush a deep red.

Me: "O-oh C-Confess. I was going to love to you that I Meggy you. I mean Love, I was going to Meggy to you that I confess you... wait I mean..."

Meggy then giggles a bit as I gather myself.

I took a deep breath and use all my courage to say "He Meggy, I was going to confess to you that I..."

Meggy then kisses me and I kiss back.

After a minute we stopped to catch some air.

She then goes up to my ear and whispers "I love you too."

Me: "For how long?"

Meggy: "Ever since we became friends. You?"

Me: "Same."

Meggy: "Come on, lets go inside."

We both went inside her home and kissed.

SMG4: "Aw, they look nice together... even though he literally kicked my ass."

Mario: *(Woody Laugh)*

SMG4 and Mario start fighting while Fishy Boopkins, Bob, Saiko and Tari watch.

F.B: "They sure do look happy, don't they?"

Saiko: "They sure do, Fishy Boopkins."

Tari: "They sure do."
