Where Taehyung was born with small problem in his head which makes him different from the other kids.

His parents never looked at the matter with seriousness. Taehyung's normal behavior  overshadowed the fact that he wasn't normal. 

He soon hit is age of teens, where everyone's life at some point starts to change. His mother treating him like the others and being the most typical "Asian" mom, mocked him, shouted at him, scolded at a great extent for his small faults, or played with the poor boys mind for getting less grades than other students and more of all questioned why she gave birth to him { for he was quite feminine } all for the sake of "discipline"

All of this was enough to trigger the prevailing mental disorder in Tae's innocent mind, making him more scared of the world.  The more Taehyung acknowledges the mistakes he makes and how they accumulate, the more redemption he yearns to achieve. Even if it costs some pain......

he felt the want or feeling of pleasing is parents at such an exaggerated extent, that he was even ready to let go of his "true" self. And punished himself for his faults 

On noticing his change in behavior and personality, a certain something clicked to Tae's parents. His parents consulted a psychiatrist, who preferred a better psychologist for that field -Mr. Jeon JungKook.
