Years passed and life went on.

You had moved on and were living your usual daily life. You rarely thought about JungKook anymore, and you thought you finally forgot him.

BTS had passed their throne to another new group, so now they weren't into the spotlight as they were before, and that meant you no longer see them anywhere anytime like you used to. That was quite helpful for you, as you didn't have to see JungKook's face accidentally when you turned on the TV, like a few years back.

But today was different, today was a special day not just for you but for the whole Korea.

Suga, one of the BTS members, was getting married today, and he was the first one among the others. The news made headlines everywhere and lots of people were waiting for today. Today was special for you too, because of the wedding, your shop getting so busy with the congratulatory flowers orders for Suga and his wife, you couldn't imagine how full of flowers his wedding venue would be.

It was noon, and you had finished the orders for Suga's morning matrimony. You still had to check on some delivery for tonight's wedding reception orders when you heard your assistant knock on your workshop's door.

"Ma'am, someone's coming to see you," He said.

"Who's that ? I'm quite busy now, I still have to check some orders." You said, looking at your working papers.

"He said his name's Mr. Jeon,"

Here he was, standing in front of your shop door, looking as stunning as the last time you remembered him. His hair was short now and his eyebrows got pierced, he was wearing his best man suit while looking at some flowers display, when you walked towards him and he turned to see you, smiling at you.

"Hi," JungKook said, looking at your eyes, making you feel these weird flutters in your heart, "Can I take you for a walk ?"

You just nodded and followed him outside the shop. He walked you to the park near your shop, and the memories of you and him flooded your head as you couldn't stop it. You thought you finally moved on, but it turned out you were wrong. Seeing him today just made you realize how you missed him so much.

You both walked in silence through the park, not sure what to talk about.

"You're not going to Suga's wedding ?" You finally asked.

"I just came from the morning matrimony," JungKook said, "There's still plenty of time till my duty on tonight's reception."

"Is it okay that you're going like this in public ? Without a mask or disguise ?" You asked again, looking around to check if there were some paparazzi around.

"It's okay," He chuckled, "I'm not that popular anymore, you know." He smiled at you.

You both kept walking in silence for some time, you were just about to ask him what he wanted, when suddenly he pointed at the park bench and asked to sit there.

"I miss you," JungKook said, when you both sat there.

You were stunned, didn't know what to say.

"I know you hate me, but would you please listen to me ?" He said, looking into your eyes, you didn't say anything so he took that as a yes.

"These past few years, people said I'm living my life to the fullest, I had my popularity and wealth, but deep down I feel something's missing. And this morning, when I saw Suga's hyung face when he saw his bride walking down the aisle, I know what's missing in me. It's you." He looked straight deep into your eyes, making you lose your mind.

"The way he looked at her face, reminds me of the way I used to look at you. I never realized it before, but it turns out after all these years, my heart's still yours."

JungKook then explained to you what had happened a few years ago, about the blackmail he got from the sasaeng, the dating scandal that could ruin BTS, and yes he mainly did what he had done to protect you.

You were stunned, trying to process everything in your mind. You already knew about the sasaeng part and you actually already forgave what JungKook did to you from long ago.

What made you think hard was his confession to you, you never knew he had these feelings towards you. And this made the feeling that you were already buried from years back and you thought was already forgotten, came back to you in a rush and gave a weird mixed feelings to your heart.

"I know I hurted you and you probably don't believe me. It's up to you and maybe that's the price I should pay for what I've done to you." He said again regrettably.

"I've fallen for you, y/n, could you give me a chance ?"

You felt like your heart was going to burst at his confession. You knew deep down you had fallen for JungKook and you still loved him up to this time.

You just wanted to shout yes, but your ego wouldn't let you do that. You wanted to do something to repay what he did to you that last time, so you decided to prank him a little.

"Umm I.. I don't know.." You said hesitantly, playing with your fourth finger that happened to be wearing a diamond ring today. You made sure JungKook realized your move and looked at the ring on your finger.

And he did, he looked a little surprised and stunned for a while.

"Oh I'm sorry, I don't know," He said abruptly.

"I better go, I just embarrassed myself. Sorry for bothering you." He said again, stood from the bench and rushed to leave you.

You looked at his reaction and tried to hold your chuckle, but then you quickly realized.

Hey, what am I doing ? Don't let him go !

You stood from the bench too and chased him.

"Hey wait ! It's not like what you think." You said to JungKook but it looked like he didn't hear you, he just kept walking.

"Hey, I'm just kidding, ok ?" You said louder.

"Ya ! JungKook !" You shouted at him, but he kept walking, ignoring you.

Argh ! This guy !

You stomped your feet in annoyance.

You looked around and the park was quite empty, there were only a few people there. So you decided to swallow your pride and just shouted your heart out loud.

"Ya, JungKook ! I feel the same as you ! I thought after all these years, I finally forgot you, but I can't ! I tried to hate you for what you did to me, but I can't ! Did I ever think I'm crazy ? Yes ! Cause I've fallen for someone that's out of my reach. But did I stop ? No. I've never stopped falling for you, cause I can't. I love you Mr. Jeon, and seeing you today just makes me realize how much I've missed you."

You poured out your heart, didn't even care if anyone was listening.

JungKook stopped there back facing you, while you just stood there, your heart racing waiting for his response.

He finally turned to you, his smile grew wider, showing you his signature bunny smile that you loved so much. His face beaming as he walked towards you, holding your hand and said,

"I love you too, Mrs. Jeon-to-be."

And with that, he sealed you with a kiss.

A kiss that you would never forget and someday would officially make you Mrs. Jeon JungKook.
