Chapter 7: How About Chopping it with my Ax?

I took rounds around the grounds earlier than usual. Binisita ko ang mga may sakit at tiniyak na sapat pa ang supply ng pangangailan ng bawat miyembro ng pack. By the the time the sun was about to shine, I was finished in my morning routine.

I decided to take some run around the forest. My wolf self has been busy these past days that I haven’t taken some time for myself. I usually run during full moons but I guess an early exercise isn’t bad too.

Letting out a growl, I changed into my wolf form. Kumpara sa ibang lobo ng pack, my wolf is bigger and and stronger. It’s an Alpha wolf’s quality. In terms of strength, we are naturally blessed and honed through training and exercise.

I love changing into my wolf form. I like how the cold morning air kissed my ash gray fur and how soil stick in my paws. I let myself enjoy running from hills to hills and jumped off streams.

I feel so free when I am in my wolf form, running through the woods forgetting my responsibilities and worries even for the mean time.

Hindi pa masyadong mataas ang sikat ng araw nang pinasya kong magpahinga. Slipping back to my human body, I soaked naked on the river. Malamig ang tubig at tahimik ang paligid. It somehow provides comfort to myself.

Minsan na lamang ako nakakapagrelax. The pack needs to be monitored so I have to do my duties. Hindi ako nagrereklamo. From the day I was born, it’s already determined that one day I will become an Alpha. And as I grew up, I am aware of all the responsibilities so when I was hailed as Alpha, hindi na ako nagtaka sa dami ng tungkulin na dapat kong gampanan.

Mayamaya ay nakarinig ako ng mga paparating na yabag. Malayo pa iyon but my senses are more enhanced than most wolves so I immediately knew someone was coming. I swam fast and hide behind a huge stone.

Then I felt that tingling sensation.

Oh.

I know these tingles.

As expected it was my mate.

She’s wearing super short shorts and an oversize shirt. A towel was rolled up in her head, probably to dry it. I hate how she dressed up like normal woman showing so much skin. I even wonder how she maintained such pearly white skin despite wearing so revealing clothes despite being in such sunny mountains.

And goodness, this is the woods. Isn’t she afraid of getting insect bites? Although she must have applied repellant, it’s still not good to be in those little clothes.

She stopped as she reached the riverbank and snorted.

Ah, probably feeling the tingles.

She looked around trying to see if I am at anywhere near. I was amused watching her so I remained hiding. May dala siyang palanggana na may kung anong laman.

Tinapon niya ang laman ng palanggana sa ilog. The current carried it away and it passed me.

Ah, just some boiled leaves. A leaf touched my bare chest so I have to detached it from my skin and let it flow with the water. After washing the basin, she stood up, neck turning on every direction only to find no one.

I enjoyed watching her but knowing my mate, sooner or later she will leave annoyed. And I don’t want to miss the chance to have a chat with her. I swam closer, coming into her view.

“Good morning mate,” I greeted.

She rolled her eyes at me. “I knew it,” she said to herself.

I smiled. “Of course, Cattaleya, the tingles don’t lie.”

Umahon ako sa tubig at lumapit sa kanya. Gusto kong matawa nang tila nagpanic siya at parang anumang sandali ay ibabato niya sa akin ang hawak na palanggana. But she maintained her cool and act like seeing me naked doesn’t bother her even a little.

She’s good in acting by the way.

“Where’s your clothes, stupid dog?” tanong niya. “I told you I’ll chop your body if you’re naked right? Lucky for you, I didn’t bring my ax with me.”

I let out my usual smirk. “Correct me if I‘m wrong but you mean it’s okay to be naked when we’re alone right?” Iginala ko ang paningin sa paligid. “It’s still early and there’s just the two of us.”

“You’re wrong,” she replied. “That’s not what I said.”

“Well that’s what you mean.”

She rolled her eyes again. I really hate it when someone roll their eyes on me but Cattaleya is an exemption.

“So confident, Mister Wolf? You’re not even that huge compared to others.”

Para akong sinabuyan ng tubig sa mukha. I know Cattaleya’s toying me. I know that it’s not what she see pero nagagalit ako sa mga sandaling ito. Not because she said I’m not huge but because of the 'others' that she mentioned.

I know I’m huge, I’m an Alpha wolf and I am a complete package. I have never been insecure of my size because I know I’m huge.

But hugeness isn’t even the issue here.

It’s her, talking about others.

I grabbed her arm at parehas kaming nagulat sa ginawa ko. I don't want to hurt her pero hindi ko maiwasang magalit sa mga sandaling ito.

Nabitawan niya ang kanyang hawak at napangiwi sa sakit ng paghablot ko sa kanya. I was growling in anger. My mind wandered into those ‘others’ that she’s talking about. Argh! I’d love to snap their heads! Heads up and down there.

“Tell me, nagustuhan mo ba iyon?” I gritted my teeth as I asked, my inner wolf stirring in anger.

“Wala ka na roon!” She tried to free from my grip but I’m really pissed right now that no matter what she do, she cannot free herself from my hold.

I pulled her closer to my naked body and panic covered her whole face. “Sabihin mo sa akin Cattaleya, nagustuhan mo ba?”

Damn it, I don’t know why I am at my utmost temper right now. I started my day so happy and now it’s ruined. Thanks to those ‘others’ that she’s talking about. Congratulations for making Alpha Clan Vanderwolf lose his cool.

She tried stepping back. “You’re naked!”

“Just answer my fucking question, Cattaleya!”

My anger right now is really not understandable. If I cannot control myself, I’ll rip her tiny clothes right here right now and make her forget what those ‘others’ dick feels like. I will show no mercy. Gaya ng sinabi ko sa kanya, I am territorial. I do not share, especially my mate. What's mine is mine.

"How many men in your mind right now Cattaleya?" It came out as a loud growl at halata na ang takot sa mukha niya.

"Stop!" she shouted at me but there's no stopping me right now.

"TELL ME!"

"None okay?! None! Now let go of my arm Mister Wolf or I'll lose a limb!"

That relieved me. Guess no heads will be snapped. If there's any, I don't mind hunting them-- human or wolf, I'll hunt them down and slaughter them.

Binitiwan ko siya at bahagya akong kumalma. She winced in pain as she held her arm. Nabalot naman ako ng pag-aalala nang makitang bumakas nga roon ang kamay ko.

"Fuck, I'm sorry, Cattaleya--" Humakbang ako palapit sa kanya ngunit umatras siya.

And that fucking hurt my inner wolf self and human self.

She looked at me hatefully, but then a concern was visible in her eyes when it fell to my chest. "Anong nangyari rito?" Ignoring my total nudity, she come closer to touch my chest.

Oh? Why is there a leaf-shaped burn? And now that I noticed it, it stings a little. Marahil hindi ko iyon naramdaman kanina dahil mas ramdam ko ang galit ko.

"I'm really sorry--"

"Mister Wolf, what happened to this?" she cut me off, sounding angry.

"Hindi ko alam. A leaf from what you threw in the water floated towards me," sagot ko. "But that's not my concern now Cattaleya--"

"Shit!" Natampal niya ang kanyang noo. "Bakit ka ba kasi rito lumangoy?"

"Hey, are you mad?" I asked. Okay, I'm supposed to be the one mad.

Now the tables are turned.

Great.

"You stupid dog! Alam mo bang dahon iyon ng atis na pinakuluan ko sa pilak na kaserola?" she's raising her voice.

"How would I know, Cattaleya?"

"Nasaan ang mga damit mo?" tanong niya at napatingin sa paligid na tila may hinahanap.

"I came from a run in my wolf form," sagot ko.

"At this hour?!"

My tongue clicked. "Earlier."

"And how are you supposed to go back to your pack?" naiinis na tanong niya. "As a wolf? You know woodcutters and hikers could walk around!"

"I'll walk in human form."

She raised a brow. "Naked?"

"Wolves are practically naked Cattaleya. Nudity is never an issue," sagot ko sa kanya.

Her eyes narrowed at me before she removed the towel in her head. Mukhang kaliligo lamang niya dahil basa pa ang kanyang mahabang buhok.

"Don't go scaring people by walking naked," she said, pushing the towel to my chest.

I can't help but smile as I wrapped the towel on my lower body. "At bakit naman matatakot sila? Humans loves being naked too."

She rolled her eyes. Ilang beses niya bang gagawin iyon? "Just don't."

"Is it because I'm not huge as you say?" I asked.

"Aren't we done with that topic?" naiinis na tanong niya.

"Not until you tell me you didn't mean what you say."

"Which one?"

"The part where you say I'm not huge," sagot ko.

Now she looks pissed. "Are we really going to talk about your dick?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "Depends if there's anything you want to do with my dick other that talking about it."

"How about chopping it with my ax, you pervert dog!?"

Fierce.

I chuckled a bit. "I'm sure that's not what you want to do to it Cattaleya."

"Can we just stop talking about your dick?"

"Can we not?" sagot ko sa kanya.

For the nth time, she rolled her eyes at me again. Pagkatapos ay bumaba sa dibdib ko ang tingin niya. "Wait here, I'll go get some medicine."

Tinalikuran niya ako ngunit agad ko siyang napigilan sa pamamagitan ng paghawak sa kamay niya.

"What?" she asked, annoyed.

"How about my..." I looked down. I know she knows what I mean.

Slapping my hand away, she made a face. "Feed it to bitches, you pervert!"

Tumawa lamang ako bilang sagot. Nagpatuloy siya sa paglalakad palayo. She told me to wait and I am a good wolf, so I did wait and stay.
