Chapter 3: Disgusting

“W-what the hell did you just do?!”

Cattaleya blinks fast as if she cannot believe what just happened. But then it happened. And I enjoyed the sweetness... of the coffee and her lips.

“That’s me tasting the coffee you make Cattaleya.”

Anger reflected on her face but she’s blushing. “On my lips?”

I nodded. “Yes, on your lips.”

Nawala ang pamumula sa mukha niya at sa pagkakataong ito ay naghari ang ang galit. “You kissed me, stupid dog!” Amusing how she can changed her facial expressions in a blink of an eye.

“It’s Clan,” sagot ko sa kanya.

She looks upset at tila hindi makapaniwala sa nangyari. Hindi ko naman maiwasang matuwa sa sarili ko. She likes it, of course she does. She’s my mate and she cannot deny our spark.

“What are you smiling at?!” sigaw niya.

“Nothing, I just like it. And I know you like it too.” Nginitian ko siya nang matamis. If she’s not feigning anger, she would have probably melted by such smile. Pero matigas si Cattaleya at mas pinairal ang nararamdamang inis. Siguro ay naiinis siya dahil sa pagiging pangahas ko. She’s upset because I caught her off-guard.

She’s not upset over such kiss.

“In your face, Mister Wolf!” she looked away and avoided meeting my eyes. “I hate it. I can’t believe I’m kissed by a dog!”

“Not a dog, but your mate,” I corrected her. I moved closer to her. Naglapat ang binti niya sa binti ko. She flinched a little, probably because of my warm body, or maybe it’s because of the tingles. “Come on Cattaleya, you don’t hate it, do you?”

I brushed some of her wet hair that hung on the column of her neck down to her waist. She stilled before her facial expression changed again.

Cattaleya is so different. She looks like she’s not the kind who accepts defeat, either in words or in a bloody battle. Humarap siya sa akin at hindi nagpaapekto sa munting distansya sa pagitan ng mukha namin.

I can see her cheeks with a natural red blush. Her dark eyes tell me she’s not the girl you can bring down. She will fight and she’s hard to defeat.

Huh, that’s my mate. So very outstanding.

“I hate it,” sabi niya sa akin sa matatag na boses.

“Liar,” I scoffed. “If you hate it, I would have already received a slap-- ah, no. I don’t think you’re the kind who slaps. Kung hindi mo nagustuhan ang ginawa ko, my head should have been separated from my body right now. Here’s your ax Cattaleya, at your reach.” I tapped the handle of her ax, just beside her.

She looks like she realized I have a point but she maintained her calm. What a girl.

She flashed a grin as if to prove a point. “Maybe I like it, maybe I don’t. Anyways, you smell like dog by the way.”

Gusto kong matawa. She’s making baseless attacks because she’s affected by me, by my presence. I don’t smell like dog, any dog like what she means. She’s my mate at natitiyak kong attracted siya sa amoy ko; the scent of an alpha wolf.

“Mister Wolf, I didn’t cut your head because it means I’m not affected,” pagpapatuloy niya at ngumiti nang matamis. “It doesn’t mean anything to me Mister Wolf. Shut your confidence.”

“Ah,” sagot ko. “I see. How about this?”

Before she could react, hinapit ko ang baiwang niya at siniil siya ng halik. Unlike the first one, I aimed for the taste of her lips, not just the coffee. She froze as her hands pushed me by my shoulders. I like how her wet body blended with my warmth. I closed my eyes as I nibbled on her lower lip, tasting it like a sweet candy that I cannot resist.

My tongue slipped inside her mouth. She still tasted like coffee and something sweet but her mouth was the sweetest. I explored her mouth with all my might and I felt her hands stopped pushing my shoulders. Sa halip ay napahawak siya roon, like she needed it for support. She responded to my kiss, giving me the same burning passion.

Then I pulled away.

Her eyes opened at may bakas ng inis doon. “That’s rude, Mister Wolf, I’m not yet done kissing you.”

My body was warmer due to pleasure but seeing how pissed she is dahil sa naputol na halik ay nagpaligaya rin sa akin. I held her cheek, my thumb caressed it. “Tell me Cattaleya, how does my kisses feel?”

She slapped my hand away. “Disgusting.”

I laughed and she frowned. “Liar.”

“Fine,” she surrendered. “Not really disgusting. I kissed hundreds of men, be it wolf or human. Yours just feel like a normal one, not even worth remembering.”

I felt my inner wolf filled with rage. Hundreds of men? Dang, I love to tear them up into shreds!

Tinitigan ko siya na bahagyang nakakunot ang noo. I can’t tell if she’s lying or not. Her sweet face cannot prove that. Like I said, she’s a dangerous woman. I cannot trust her appearance.

I hate the thought of it! She’s my mate! She’s supposed to be mine! Mine alone! Pero alam kung may buhay siya bago ko siya natagpuan. She lived like human, and humans definitely has a unique way of life. There’s party, drugs and sex. I know it because I lived such life too.

Human females are good in bed but less aggressive than shewolves. Noong nagbuhay tao pa ako, I would have sex with human but still long for a wolf. Wolves have so much energy in that matter, lalo na kung kabilugan ng buwan.

That’s why it’s important to find our mates. We have so much strength given by the moon and it’s too strong that we have two ways release it.

One, through aggression.

Omegas go hunt during full moon dahil mas malakas kami sa panahong iyon. They kill human, wolves and vampires.

Two, sex.

We control the gift of strength in such way and at the same time, increase our pack. Wolves with mate become sexually violent at full moons, and female wolf can surely handle that.

“Good day then, Cattaleya,” wika ko sa kanya at tumayo bago humakbang palayo.

“Mister Wolf!” pigil niya sa akin. Huminto ako ngunit hindi lumingon. “Are you mad?”

“I have to bring back Felmar to the grounds,” sagot ko.

“Can I go with you?” she asked in a sweet voice.

No, that’s dangerous.

Kung dadalhin ko siya sa lungga namin ngayong hindi ko pa tiyak kung tatanggapin niya ako, as my fated mate, then it only means I am putting my pack on the line. She can kill us in an instant sa tulong ng mangkukulam na si Aurora. Hindi ko na rin kukwestiyunin ang kakayahan niyang pugutan ang miyembro ng pack gamit ang kanyang palakol.

Bringing her with me means danger.

“Please?” she pleaded.

Lumingon ako sa kanya. She stood there with her begging face. My mate’s cute. But I’m aware she can be cute in a second then turn into someone deadly. Gusto kong pagbigyan ang hiling niya. She doesn’t hate me like she claims, I know. My wolf senses tell so.

“No.” I have to say no, for the sake of my pack.

Her eyes glittered with anger. “Ilang beses mo bang akong tatanggihan? Damn you, Stupid dog, you even turn down my coffee.”

“You should go and swim,” sabi ko sa kanya.

I saw her rolled her eyes in annoyance. “Fine, as you wish. What’s wrong with coming to your grounds by the way? I asked you politely but you said no like I’m going to kill every member of your pack! Then fine! Umuwi kang mag-isa mo! As if naman hindi ko iyon mahahanap. I can find your grounds easily, you know that I’m capable. Or I can just ask Aurora. And I hold grudge, Mister Wolf. Pupunta ako roon and I’ll make sure to bring wolfsbane with me.”

Sinipa niya ang basket dahil sa labis na inis. Well, it’s true. She can find the grounds easily. It’s not a secret place anyway.

But why did I reject her?

I don’t think it’s a good idea. I left load of works, part of my duties as an alpha. Bringing her with me means I cannot finish my work. She’s a distraction. She can sit in a corner as I face my paper works and my mind and attention will be all on her knowing she’s around.

Tumalikod siya sa akin. “Goodbye, dog.”

She walked towards the riverbank for a swim. Nagulat na lamang ako nang hinubad niya ang kanyang suot na t-shirt at inihagis iyon sa gilid.

From behind, I can see her slender shoulders and a waist to die for. Kahit natatakpan ng mahabang buhok niya, I can imagine the knot she made to tie that little red string of her bikini top. Akala ko ay tatalon na siya ngunit nagulat ako nang ibinaba niya ang kanyang suot na short. I ran my palm over my face as I sigh.

Like her bra, she wore red string bikini na nakatali sa magkabilang gilid. And damn it, that’s one hell of a wiggling ass. My inner wolf growled before I dashed towards her and grabbed her hand before she can totally free herself from that tiny short and throw it away.

“Let’s go.”

Nagulat na napaharap siya sa akin. My eyes scanned her chest. Seeing it in that thin red cloth just showed its beauty.

How much more without the cloth?

Hopefully she doesn’t have the guts to look at my bulging crotch.

Oh she does.

“Mister Wolf--”

“You’re my mate, you’re supposed to show me that. Only me, got that?” I mumbled a curse as I pick up her shirt. I pulled her shorts up and buttoned it again. I helped her wear her shirt back and she just let me. I gently pulled her hair out from her back, inside her shirt.

She smiled naughtily as she scanned my face down to my crotch, then back to my face. “It must have been hard for you.”

Yeah, literally.

I tried my very best to focus on her pretty face than recalling the beautiful sight that I already covered with clothes now. Damn you Clan, you see naked bodies-- everyday!

“Hmm,” I gently growled habang inililibot ang mata sa paligid.

“Anong hinahanap mo?” tanong niya sa akin.

“Creatures of any kind who saw you in such state,” sagot ko sa kanya.

Napakunot ang noo niya at nagtatakang nagtanong. “Why?”

I shrugged, still scanning the surrounding. “I’ll pluck eyes before we go to the grounds.”

At tumawa siya na para bang biro ang sinabi ko.

Damn, I’m serious as hell.
