a/n: Gonna start putting authors note on the top.

So I can't believe I just written a 20 chapters with 3k+, and it's not even the whole story covered. I'm still trying to build up the story and introduce you all to what's happening, it's going to be amazing and I've already figure out how the plot will be going and I hope your in it for the surprise and expect lots of up and downs moment.

As for right now this will be the closing chapter of the first arch of the story and we will be going to the second arch of the story and where the story will begin. I have to say this is the longest book I've written and I'm very excited for the next chapter and all I can say it's a bit dark.

Another news I'm so happy this got 2K reads and I want to thank you for following me in this journey took it 2 years to write this and there still many more years to come! So I hope you do enjoy this. I've pre-written 4 chapters and I hope I will be able to post them in a range of time so you'll still understand the story.

You really couldn't believe it

After all, you had gone through, and what had happened, you're still amazed by the fact mermaids are real. Well, in fact, that he was holding onto you right now. You would have asked a lot of question if it wasn't for the water that surrounds you.

Your eyes widen, and you were about to shout, but the mermaid's eyes widen and clamp your mouth shut.

'Don't talk first,' he mutters words and sudden smack his lips to you, and your reflects kick in as you struggle under his hold, but he kept on until he blows air into your lung and he lets you go.

You glare your way to him as you rub your hands non your lips and he smiles.

'Go on... you can yell now,' you took a deep breath and exhale, and you glare your way to the smiling mermaid as he twirls around when suddenly he jerks back. Your eyes widen when a sudden tug also drags you with him.

The merman suddenly jerks backwards as it was about to hit the seabed when suddenly you felt someone holding out to you.

And you look back to see Jimin who was looking at you and your eyes widen for the second time and know that he was also a merman.

'Jimin – you...you have a tail –'your eyes couldn't help to wander over his feet ignoring the tug that tugs your hands, and you look at your hands and see a long line that goes to the bottom of the sea.

You look at Jimin questioningly as he laughs,' did Taehyung kiss you?' you look at him and nod.

'Then you can talk freely, y/n! Don't worry he didn't kiss you for nothing, not only he's a good kisser but Taehyung needs to blow air bubbles to you, so you don't die!' you look at him and take a deep breath.

'Jimin... what's going on who is that merman and how did you have tails and why don't I have one?' he laughs at you at your last question.

'You don't have a tail because you're a human y/n, but I think Taehyung can do something about that and I had tails since I was little so I don't know how I get it, but you can also ask Taehyung for that now where is my soulmate?'

'I don't know after saving me he suddenly tugs me down and –you didn't finish when suddenly you were dragged by the merman.

As you were harshly tugged by Jimin swims forward holding out your hands.

'Woah... I'm got you, but you need to let go, alright? I think Taehyung is being chained and you're tug because of this –'Jimin holds out his pinkie, and there it was a red string connecting to his pinkie.

The red string that connects to is pinkie is also connected to you.

'Jimin how did....' He looks at your pinkie and smile.

'I don't know y/n, but I think you are our soulmate! I didn't know you can have 2 soulmates, but I guess we are lucky.' He smiles,' but we need to find Taehyung right now...'

After he said that he grabs your hands and then swims down.

After a minute of dragging, he took you down as you see a tangled string and a very pouty merman.

'I can't believe it took you a while to swim down here, I thought tugging you both will know I'm here,' Taehyung pouts as he looks at the both of you.

Jimin giggles and swim closer as he hugs his best friend/soulmate and Taehyung's arms opened, and he embraces the smaller merman.

Taehyung giggles as Jimin swims toward you as he gently grabs your hand, bringing you to the chained merman.

'You are also bond with us y/n! somehow you did... so now you're one of us!' Jimin gently holds you as he swims his way to Taehyung, you presume.

'Y/n I want you to meet Taehyung, Son of Poseidon, my soulmate and the one who gave me this cool mermaid tail,' he said while twirling in the water as he shows off how shimmering it is.

'Oh... don't worry we met,' Taehyung winks at you as you scoff,' We're practically close by now.'

'Yeah we are,' you scoff as Taehyung laugh as he was about to swim upwards, he hissed. Both you and Jimin look at each other, and he swims first as you follow, a bit lagging, behind Jimin who was going fast.

'Taehyung... what did you do again?' Jimin's face worried over his friend's tail.

'What? It's not like it's anything bad Minnie, Father just didn't agree with what I do, and here I am,' Taehyung shrugs,' Besides I should be asking you, Minnie, what are you doing here?'

'Long story Tae, and father doesn't even know I'm here,' Jimin grumbles as he tries to break the chain that was tangling the mermaid's tail.

'Minnie is now a rebel I see, and I forget something –'Taehyung mutter something under his breath, and suddenly he was blowing bubbles to your direction,' a little something from me, I think it could help you.'

The bubbles shine around you, and your breathing was getting better and not as stuffy as before, and when you looked down, you could see that your two sets of lets were replaced by a mermaid tail.

'Minnie told me you wanted one.'

Jimin groans as he let the chains undone and swims to you.

'Taehyung, how many times do I have to tell you it's Jimin, not Minnie alright?' he glares at his friend,' and no I'm not in my period, we don't get those Taehyung.'

You look at a laughing Taehyung and glaring a Jimin and hell you were confused.

Taehyung looks at you and smile,' Jimin and I are telepathic, another cool thing we could do when we're this close, I was able to save you from falling deeper because Jimin sends the telepathic, it was funny.'

'You both are telepathically, and that makes – '

'You! Telepathically as well, well I do hope we are... I heard you scream in my head,' Taehyung smile as he straightens his back and swimming freely from the chains.

'Could it be telepathically? I don't think it's possible I mean she's.'

'Yes, it seems odd isn't it, that a human can bond with a demigod,' Taehyung discussed with Jimin ignoring you who were swimming behind them into an underground cave.

'uh... guys?'

'It's Jimin, but she might not be one if she's already bonded.'

'Well, Minnie, I don't see how she had bonded us so quick without her knowing, and it is rare to see some being able to bond two people at once.' Jimin grumbles as he corrects Taehyung once again.

'I'M NOT WEIRD YOU ARE!' Taehyung looks at Jimin who was sticking his tongue out.

'I HATE YOU,' Taehyung pouts and swims faster, and Jimin gasps as he floats to Taehyung.

You could believe what was happening right now, seeing a pouting Taehyung swimming and a frantic Jimin as he tries to hug Taehyung.

'You know how sensitive I am with it,' Taehyung sadly pout,' You're no different than Father.'

'Taehyung please don't be like that!' Jimin was quivering in his place as he looks at his soulmates sad face.

'You don't even let me call you Minnie anymore!' Taehyung begins shouting at his soulmate and Jimin was trembling, initiatives you took a swim forward as you hold Jimin's shoulder while glaring at Taehyung.

'Jimin... what happened why don't you like that name anymore?'

'Taehyung, I think it's been a while since you've seen Jimin...' Taehyung looks at your expression and nods.

You were not wrong, it has been a while since Taehyung and Jimin met, and you could blame that to Poseidon and Zeus. Taehyung and Jimin was indeed soulmate, that means they are bonded by soul, mind, and heart. They knew each other like the back of their mind.

It was like a bond that is not able to be broken, and it could really kill someone for not being with their soulmate. Still, since Jimin and Taehyung are somehow connected with the sky and sea, it was bearable for the both of them, but that means that they can't communicate and they can't read each other's mind like usual.

After Zeus thinks his son is not going to be a great king in the future if he keeps playing around like a little kid, he had banned Poseidon's son to ever meeting his son after again. After his father had forbidden from meeting his friends, so in the age of twelve, Jimin was able to wield the thunderbolt. The Jimin's heart did not grow cold as expected by his father, he grew soft and hate towards his father.

'Tae... I'm sorry, please don't be mad at me,' Jimin eyes widen and say as he hugs Taehyung's back as he started to cry. Taehyung's eyes widen as he looks at his soulmate who was calling behind his back,' Don't it's okay, I'm okay, I'm sorry alright.'

'Jimin how could he,' Taehyung took hold of Jimin while you stood back and see them.

'Okay... Minnie, please you need to tell me everything, alright? Don't worry I wouldn't be mad,' Jimin nods and looks at you and smile.

"I think she'll be able to fill you in Tae,' he looks at you.

You couldn't believe you just third wheel a pair of the mermen in the middle of the ocean like this, are they dating? Assuming that they were so close to each other.

"We're not dating y/n," Jimin's face smile and Taehyung gave you a boxy smile.

"I just assume that since you –"you stutter as you swim a little bit back.

"Hey... it's alright you are not the first, but you sure are the dozen who had asked, but we're not dating. We're just really close, and since we age the same and the string of soulmate bonded us we're inseparable since birth, and now you've bonded with us," showing the strings of soulmate," I guess you're going to stuck with us."

You look at the string that is attached to your pinky. It felt weird because somehow your intuition tells you that it's not a string that binds you to your soulmate.

But you try not to question it since right now that is not your top priority, so you swam closer to them.

"Taehyung do you perhaps know the legend of Kronos?"

Taheyung's eyes who was looking at jimin lovely looks at you exceptionally, the duality this man brings.

"Of course, who wouldn't know he's every demigod and demigoddess fear, the monster that is warned by our parents." You nod, and you look at him worriedly.

"We found out that an old prophecy regarding him that he will once again rise and he's going to have risen on the next moon, and he was helped by a certainly forbidden demigod," I explain.

"We thought that it was impossible to think that it was real, but we've been attacked countless time by an unknown and thinks that the rumours might be true if it is we need to stop them," Taehyung looks at you confused.

"We? Or are the 'we' we're talking about –'Taehyung's eyes widen –'you don't mean.

"it's the boys Tae, They are somehow gathered together before they lost her in an unknown attack, they were in Namjoon hyung's Library and –'

"Wait Namjoon's hyung library still stands didn't Athena destroyed that place so no one can gain knowledge about –"

"That is what I'm worrying about Tae, it seems our parents are still one step forward than we are and I don't think this time they are going to be prepared in what's coming and I think she might be the key to this."

Your eyebrows furrow at it as you stop them from discussing it between them.

"Wait what do you mean by all of this," you stop them as they look at each and Taehyung swims forward as he held your hands to go up on the surface of the cave.

Sudden he lets go of your hands he swims up as his mermaid tail disappeared and two legs appear, and his body started to glow as a dark blue robe appears. A glowing white wreath seeps in his head, little bubbles began to cloud the wreath, while you look at Jimin who also in the same state as Taehyung is, but instead of the usual attire that was wearing he was wearing his official clothes. A golden robe started to appear, and his yellow wreath began to emerge as lightning started to strike it's wreath.

Not realising that you somehow also had glowed you got a different reaction from what you had expected. As your mermaid tail started to disappear, bringing your two legs back you surprised that you didn't get any clothes leaving you bear.

You're eyes widen as you cover yourself.

"Alright y/n you can oh –'Taehyung who was ready to show you something when he saw your naked state, and he looks away as jimin cover his and Taehyung's eyes.

No one said a word

Until jimin summons, under his breath, a baggy shirt and pants appear in front of you.

"This should fit you y/n, don't worry they are clean,' you thank jimin as you quietly changed behind the rocks and after 4 minutes you went out.

You saw Jimin and Taehyung had turned their back and you smiled at them as you cleared your throat,' I'm done you can look now.'

Both them turn their backs to you and smile as an evident blush had spread in Taehyung's face.

'Right remind us that you need to have clothes after changing."

Taehyung took your hands as he took a washed-up stick and then looks at Jimin," you think you could light this up, Minnie?'

"couldn't i?' Jimin took the stick and struck it with lighting and sparks started to ignite as a little flame started to appear, and he gave the torch back to Taehyung who smile gratefully.

You three started to walk, and you were amazed to find a hidden cave.

"what is this place, and how did you find it?" You asked taehyung who smiled.

"I live here." Taehyung moves forward leaving you and Jimin who took you hands reassuringly, and you look at Taehyung who had no problem climbing up the rocks while you had trouble.

"I didn't think Poseidon was this mean enough to put his only son in this cave,' you mumbled.

"No he was worse, you know those chains that I was tied to? That was the place he had put me before I found this place. He didn't find me a place to stay he just left me there to exile, and he never came back, I was lucky enough to know how to open the chains and found my place here and something more."

He stops his way as he looks at you smiling," I thought that he had come back, but instead I was grace upon you and soulmate, couldn't ask for a better reunion." You look at the boxy smile the demigod gave you, and you couldn't help to feel bad about it.

"Why couldn't you just escape?" you asked Taehyung," Why stay here?"

Taehyung sigh," for what? This is the lightest punishment he could give me, and exile is not that bad, if I had escaped, then he knows that I would be able to run, he would have done something worst. Besides being here, I could control the water all I want, and I have the task to guard Tartarus's first gate."

Hearing that you were amazed as he walks forward.

"You guard the gates?" you asked as he nods," only the first one that is, there are 7 gates that are trapping Kronos in that's why I was so surprised to hear you said that someone is bringing him back, they'll have to go through me first and the last gate is also guarded by Yoongi hyung.'

"Wait yoongi?" you asked as he smiles," I told you our parents are shit at being parents. You need to be expectant especially from Hades himself he gave the burden to Yoongi, but hyung's not complaining anyway."

Yoongi had never told you anything about it, making you wondered about the demigod and the burden he had to carry in his back knowing that guarding something as big as that. Is that why had to go back? Did he had to check and did he know about it before anyone did?

Is that why he was so reluctant on believing the prophecy because that means he had to uphold another burden? It makes you sadder knowing that he was even suspicious as the curse demigod remembering you didn't give him a chance to speak.

After realising that all of this demigod's parents are just literally the worst seeing their child suffer like this and the couldn't bat an eye as they took the glory, Their children are the one who should be basking in the glory doing their parent's dirty work.

"Here we are," as you three stop at a big stone and Taehyung lights up the rock, and there it was a giant gate.
