It's been 3 days since Baekhyun didn't work. All the schedule for this 3 days, he already cancelled it and said he can't make it.

For the change, he go to Samcheong-dong, to Kyungsoo's grandma's house.

He go here to think wisely about his and Chanyeol's relationship. And he already got the answer.

And back then, he usually join Kyungsoo to go here, and spent nights in here. He already did this for almost 2 years or so.

And now he go here again, but the different is, without Kyungsoo. But Kyungsoo already give him a permission.

"Baekhyun, dear."the old woman call him with a soft voice. She treat Baekhyun like he is her own grandson. And Baekhyun also treat her like she is his own grandma.

Baekhyun, who busy helping her in watering the flowers, look up at her, "Yes, granny?"

"You seem so deep in thought. What's happening?"

It's actually the 4th question she's been asking in this past 3 days. But Baekhyun stubbornly didn't want to tell her his problem. He come here with the reason 'to take a mini break from the busy work'.

Because the old woman already know about his past, she let him come here anytime.

"It just the work."Baekhyun smile to her, giving a reassurance smile.

But she know Baekhyun for quite a long time, so she know something is wrong.

"But it's not seems like it. You have a problem, hmm?"

Baekhyun sigh, and shake his head. "I'm fine, granny. It just the work, that's all. You don't need to worry."

"Okay if you said so."she smile softly. Althought she is around 70, she still look healthy.

"Uhm.. granny."Baekhyun call her.

"Yes?"

"You remember I need to go home this evening, right?"

Suddenly, her face look sad and disappointed. "I almost forget that. Why don't you stay a bit more longer?"

Baekhyun shake his head slowly, "Sorry, granny. But my patients already waiting for me."

She sigh, "I get it."before heading to house after finishing the gardening session.

Finally it's Baekhyun's time to go home after lunch with a conversation with Kyungsoo's grandma. He feel bad because he can't help her in cook since he can't cook. The granny just left alone with her maid, after that.

"I'm sorry, granny for not staying longer. I still have a lot to do."Baekhyun bow formally.

Kyungsoo's grandma just smile to him, "It's okay, young boy. Come here where ever you want. Be careful on your way home!"she wave a little when Baekhyun about to go to the train station with taxi.

"Bye granny! I love you!"Baekhyun blow goodbye kisses to her which she just reply with a calm smile and wave.

Baekhyun finally close the window before decided to check his phone. He keep it silent and decided to not check it every day. He's busy helping grandma, after all.

A sigh let out from his lips when he see 61 call from Chanyeol, and 77 messages from him. And the others were operator and Kyungsoo, asking about how's there. Also messages from this unknown number, sending him the same messages everyday. The unknown number even called him once.

Baekhyun just shrug that off.

After this, s/he will not doing this anymore.

And about Chanyeol..

Baekhyun feel bad for Chanyeol because he didn't told him.

He want to take distance so it could be more easier to think.

Arriving at the train station, he quickly give his ticket to the counter and finally enter the train with not so much things on his hands.

Closing his eyes in tired, finally the train start to move.

Chanyeol think he can't take it any longer. Baekhyun now is somewhere else without telling him, at all.

He's worried sick and also angry to him.

Why he didn't tell me? At least reply one message or pick up the call!

He angrily kick the rock on the street. He is now heading to Baekhyun's office.

It's been 4 days since Baekhyun left. Everyday he always visit the hospital, hoping that Baekhyun would pop out. But the truth telling him the opposite of it.

He has a strong feeling that today Baekhyun will be here. So he take a deep breath before knocking on the door, receiving a "Come in." as a reply.

Chanyeol feel his heart doesn't beat for a while. He shakily open the room before entering it.

Baekhyun widened his eyes in shock. But he didn't say a word to Chanyeol.

"Where have you been?"Chanyeol ask with a shaky whisper. He miss him so much and he wanted to hug him so bad.

Baekhyun is automatically stop his activity and his heart sink in this moment, after seeing a scar on Chanyeol's forehead and his bruised face.

Is that because of me? Baekhyun's heart beating really fast. They really did it to him. He tighten his fist.

Baekhyun look away, not even answering his question.

"What's happening to your face?"he ask and forgetting about Chanyeol's question.

Chanyeol suddenly look flustered, "I.. I'm fighting yesterday. Nothing to be worry about."

He's lying. Baekhyun thought.

"Baekhyun, answer my question. Please."Chanyeol plead with his teary eyes.

Baekhyun bite his lower lip, preventing for his tears to escape.

This is hard from what I thought. But I must do this. Look at him! He get hurt because of me! If I selfish, he'll get it more.

"I just took a break."Baekhyun finally said it out, with his weak voice.

Chanyeol feel like a pang on his heart. I already worried about him, call him, text him, and what did I get?

"Why Baekhyun? Why?"Chanyeol start to use high pitch voice, he doesn't care if it sounds horrible. "Why you do this to me?! At least you can tell me where do you want to go! At least reply my texts! At least pick up my call! You make me worried as hell! And what did I get now?!"

Baekhyun bite his lower lip and lower his head down.

Because I love you, Chanyeol. I must let go of you if I want you to not get hurt again! Look what you got! Please understand me..

"Chanyeol."Baekhyun finally call his name with his shaky voice. His tears almost escape but he must hold it. "Listen to me."

Chanyeol do listen to him because he is now keep his mouth shut.

Both of them trying to hold their tears.

Both of them try to look strong.

Both of them worried.

Both of them hurt.

"Many people are against our relation. They think I'm not suit you because I'm old or so."Baekhyun said as calm as he could.

"No no no, you're not like people think, Baekhyun."Chanyeol shake his head hysterically. He already know where this conversation is going and he is not ready at all.

"At first I just shrug it off, I think they didn't like me but I just play pretend that I'm okay right after I'm being terrorize."

"But the most, most terror I've been receiving is when the unknown number and that Yugyeom boy told that they will hurt you if I didn't break up with you. And it's really happening, look what you got! I know you're lying to me because I know you're not the type of the boy that easily join into fighting and stuffs. You're a good boy so you'll not doing that."

Chanyeol shake his head several times. Trying to deny it but it is the truth. 2 days ago, Yugyeom and his friends circling him after the campus is already in silent. Yugyeom also bring his gang with him; Mark, Bambam, and Junior.

The reason Yugyeom did this to him, because, Kim Hyeun Ah, his sister will pay him if he want to help her to make their relation brake apart. That's also the reason they came together to the hospital.

Chanyeol didn't predict that the girls really really did it to him. He thought fans will not ever hurt their idols? But what did he get? He think the girls are maniacs.

"So I take a mini break for thinking more  clearly about what should I do between us. And finally I got the answer."Baekhyun smile bitterly and his tears almost, almost explode.

"No, no, no, Baekhyun. Please don't do this."Chanyeol can't hold his tears any longer. "I love you, Baekhyun. Please fight together with me. I don't care if I get hurt, as long as I'm with you. I promise I'll protect you. Just.. don't Baekhyun. I beg you."he is a crying mess right now.

Baekhyun bite his lip until it is bleeding. Seeing Chanyeol like this make him hurt. So damn much. But he want the boy to keep safe and not hurt because of him.

"Why why why why!"Chanyeol keep repeating the why question until he's tired.

Baekhyun, with all his might, finally speak what is his decision in this past few days.

"Chanyeol, I think we should end this."
