I decided to skip to the beginning of Hunted instead of typing out the whole last episode of Sons of Garmadon. It's basically the same except for one little thing, you'll see. 😉

Also I would like to thank lightninggirl15 for giving me advice on this series. She really helped me out a lot with the ideas I'm going to use in later chapters and I couldn't do it without her! 😊

Lloyd's P.O.V.:

I was fighting Harumi on top of the monorail in Ninjago City. I was trying to get the leg up on her, but she was too strong. She was wearing an Oni mask and I didn't have my powers. I was no match for her. I looked at the giant rock monster that had the bounty in it's grasp.

"No!" I screamed.

Harumi grabbed me by the shirt and dangled me over the edge.

"This is the end Lloyd. Watch to see how you lose it all!" Harumi yelled.

In a matter of seconds, the bounty snapped in two. My friends were gone.

"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" I screamed.

"NOOOOO!" I woke up from the dream.

I'd been having that dream every night since it happened a week ago. It was hard going on without them, but as always I didn't have time to grieve over my losses, I had to put Ninjago first. I always put Ninjago first and I have to believe that I'm ok with that or else everyone would think I was just being selfish.

Ever since then, the SOG has basically had control of the entire city. We ran a small resistance in an abandoned warehouse, a place where no one would ever think to look. It was just me, my mother, Nya, Pixal, Dareth, and Kira left. The SOG had everyone else captured and locked up in Kryptarian Prison, and we had no idea where Mistaké was. We haven't heard from most of the other elemental masters since the tournament of elements.

I went to the main area where the others were already up. Kira and Nya were training and my mother and Pixal were watching. I figured Dareth was out collecting more food for us, as he usually does this time a day.

I sat down next to my mother and I joined them in watching Nya and Kira train. Kira was surprisingly good at it and it was really impressive how she was able to keep up with Nya. Even I have trouble keeping up with her sometimes.

They continued fighting until Kira finally landed a punch, sending Nya to the ground. I was clapping for her.

"Nice moves Kira." I said.

"Oh thank you Lloyd." Kira smiled and helped Nya to her feet. "Nya thought it would be a good idea to teach me some basics. You know, just in case."

"Good idea, if we run into the Sons of Garmadon, we'll all need to be at the top of our game. But it looks to me like you're already there." I smiled at Kira and she blushed.

"Save the flirting for later hotshot." Nya walked in front of me and got into a fighting stance. "Let's go."

"Nya we've been over this, I don't have my powers anymore." I frowned. "It doesn't matter how much training we do, I'm not going to be able to stop my father."

"Well you'll never know if you don't try." Kira said.

"Come on son, Ninjago is counting on you." My mother encouraged. "Your powers may have been an advantage, but you never needed them to be powerful."

"Fine, but if I don't have my powers you can't use yours either." I agreed.

"I couldn't if I wanted to. We don't have any water around here." Nya shrugged.

"Oh right." I remembered.

"I know you can do it." Kira said and gave me a small kiss on the cheek.

"Thanks." I smiled. Kira was the only one that could get me to smile.

Kira went to sit with Pixal and my mother. Nya and I were about to start training when Dareth walked in.

"Burr it's freezing in here." He said.

"So they'll never bother to look here." My mother said. "Did you bring food?"

"They took everything. Except..." Dareth dug deep in his pocket and pulled out a disgusting puffy pot sticker. "Master Chen's puffy pot sticker. I was going to save it for later, but it's yours. You've lost your elemental power, but not your appetite."

"Uhhh they're just as hungry as I am." I pointed to the girls.

"No son, you need your strength." My Mom said.

"And we're here to protect you." Nya added. "We insist."

I reluctantly ate it and it was disgusting, but I smiled to spare Dareth's feelings. I could hear the girls laughing.

"Mmm." I said trying not to throw up. "Puffy."

"Breaks over. Let's get back to it." Nya said.

Nya and I got back to training.

Kira's P.O.V.:

I was sitting with the others watching Lloyd and Nya train. Lloyd seemed to be having trouble focusing.

"So how goes the training for the leader of our resistance?" Dareth asked.

Lloyd tried to land a hit, but missed and ended up falling flat on his back.

"Truthfully, not so well." Pixal frowned. "Lloyd does not think he can lead us without what makes him powerful."

"But Nya still has her power, doesn't he believe it'll come back?" He asked.

"He wasn't talking about his power, he was talking about his friends." Misako sighed.

"Man, I miss those ninja too. It's only been a week since Emperor Garmadon's taken over, and now everything's upside down." Dareth stood up. "If it means anything, I'll protect that little green guy with my life. If it comes to that."

"We all would." Misako said.

"Sweet move Lloyd." Dareth shouted.

Lloyd looked over for a quick second. But Nya punched him and sent him flying into the wall. He lied there in pain and caught his breath. I could tell it wasn't anything too bad but it made him sad.

"Perhaps we should reach out to the other elemental masters?" Pixal suggested.

"I mean seriously what have they done for Ninjago lately?" Dareth complained.

"It has been a while since we saw Skylor, but can we trust them?" Misako said.

"You alright Lloyd?" I called to him, realizing he was still on the ground holding his side.

"I'm good, just need a second." He said to me.

Then the TV turned on again. Probably just UV arresting someone again for the third time today.

"Turn it up." Lloyd demanded.

Dareth did and it was Ultra Violet with the police commissioner in a police car. Lloyd looked away and frowned. I could tell he was upset.

"Turn it off." Nya said and turned back to Lloyd. "Ninja never quit. Again."

Lloyd sighed and grabbed Nya's hand. He then went back to training with her. I could tell he wasn't himself. I was worried about him.

After they were done, we sent Dareth out for more food and had brought us noodles for lunch. Lloyd ate quickly and wanted to keep training, so Pixal was fighting him in her Samurai X mech. Misako and Dareth went to scout the area and see what they could find out.

"Embrace your power." Nya coached while eating more noodles. "Before you can use it you must find it within."

Lloyd looked like he was doing ok, but then I realized he was trying to get his powers to work. Pixal used her chains to tie him up and he fell on the ground.

"Fight it Lloyd." Nya encouraged. "Be stronger than what holds you back!"

"Let me out!" He yelled.

"Fight it!"

He struggled to break free, but when he couldn't do it, he gave up.

"I can't!" He yelled in frustration. "I can't! Just let me out of these stupid chains ok?"

Nya looked up at Pixal and sadly nodded. She let the chains loose and Nya helped him out.

"I can't." Lloyd frowned and faced the wall.

"Or won't." Nya frowned. "You're not the only one who lost everything. I lost my friends. I lost my boyfriend, my brother. They'd want us to fight!"

"What if... what if..." Lloyd stuttered. "What if my powers never come back?"

Pixal got out of her mech. "Then we fight on with what we have."

"And we build what we don't." Nya said putting her hand on his shoulder. "We get stronger each and every day, but we need you to believe in yourself."

"I-I watched the bounty get crushed to pieces." Lloyd started walking away. He wouldn't look at anyone, not even me. "And the others, they all gave their powers to save my life, and I couldn't do anything. All I could do was... watch."

"There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of them." Nya said. "But as long as I have my power, and breath in my body I'm going to protect you. And you going to defeat your father, because what else is there for us to do? Give up? I don't give up!"

"Then maybe you should lead the resistance." He frowned and turned away.

He went to the corner and set down facing the wall. Nya and Pixal looked at each other.

"Let me talk to him." I said and went over to the corner Lloyd was sitting in. "Lloyd?"

"Whatever you say it's not going to bring them back." He sighed, not looking at me.

"I know." I frowned. "I miss them too."

"It's not the same. You haven't known them as long as Nya and I have." He frowned.

"You're right, I haven't known them that long. But the time I did, they took me in, became my friends, helped me discover my true potential and that was all within two days! For once I felt like part of a team. For once I felt like I was making a difference. Your friends were amazing Lloyd, and they would want you to keep going."

"I know, but I just feel so useless." He sighed and put his hand up, once again failing to make his powers work.

"You don't need your power to be powerful." I stated.

"I don't have my powers, I don't have my brothers, what do I have?"

"You have me." I smiled. "And I know you can do this. I know it's hard, but I'm gonna stand by you every step of the way. I believe in you Lloyd, but if you're going to save Ninjago, you need to believe in yourself. Can you do that for me?"

"I don't know if I can, but for you, I can try." He nodded.

"That's all I'm asking." I smiled and helped him to his feet. I saw the smile come back on Lloyd's face. "Now come on, let's see what you got."

Lloyd and I started to spar with each other when Dareth and Misako bursted through the door.

"We have to leave, now!" Misako shouted.

"What is it?" Nya asked.

"Garmadon's forces are sweeping the entire block." She said.

"And we're not talking brooms and dustpans, but a full on battalion!" Dareth yelled.

"We must get out of here." Pixal said.

We all ran out to the streets to the middle of the alleyway. There were SOG blocking both ways.

"We're boxed in." Misako yelled.

Lloyd looked up at the clothes lines above us. "Do you think we can all make it to the top?"

"I'm gonna be honest, you might have to carry me." Dareth admitted.

We went with plan B and ended up hiding in the dumpsters and underneath the trash bags around us until the coast was clear. The weird thing was that Mr. E was no where to be seen.

Lloyd's P.O.V.:

Once they finally left, we all came out of hiding. Once I made sure everyone was safe, we started heading back. But as we were a picture of the ninja caught my eye. I realized where we were.

"The bounty." I frowned and picked up the picture. "This is where it was destroyed."

"We have to move on." Nya put her hand on my shoulder. "We're all that's left."

I was trying hard not to tear up. I missed my friends so much. Then I noticed something on the back of the picture. It looked like some kind of flower.

"Is that?" Pixal noticed it. "It appears to be a tea leaf, travelers tea."

I started to look around the rubble. "I only see one thruster, do you see the other?"

"No." Nya said starting to look through the rubble herself. "And there's only one sail. I see the anchor, but no rotor." Then she gasped. "This is only half the ship. That means..."

"The other half is somewhere else!" My mother finished.

"They could still be... alive!" The smile came back on my face. I felt happy again. I felt hopeful again.

"Wait, guys look over here." Kira called us over to something.

"What is it Kira?" I asked.

She picked up a familiar looking helmet and showed it to us. It was Mr. E's. "I think I know why Mr. E wasn't with them earlier."

"Wait." Nya said. "If that's Echo Za... I mean Mr. E's, then that means..."

"Wherever the ninja are, he is there too." Pixal frowned. "I fear Zane may be in danger."

"Zane's tough, I'm sure he'll be ok." Nya said to her. "Besides, at least now there's something to hope for."

"Yes, we must stay positive." Pixal smiled. "Thank you Nya."

All of a sudden we were surrounded by SOG. Kilo was on one side, Ultra Violet on the other. Both of them had an army behind them. We all took a fighting stance and I tucked Kira behind us in the circle. I know she's a good a fighter, but she just starting her training and I didn't want anything to happen to her.

"Everyone get out of here, I'll hold 'em off." Dareth shouted.

"Dareth, there's too many." Nya told him.

"I told you the brown ninja would give his life to protect you." He started throwing punches. "I may be slow and slow and out of shape, but I keep my word."

UV snuck up on Dareth wearing the Oni mask. He screamed and quivered in fear. UV was about to hit him, but then a giant metal hand came out of nowhere and threw her into the rubble.

"Back in Metalonia, it is not polite to scare weak man." A man said. I would know that voice anywhere.

"Karlof?" Nya smiled.

"Hello gorgeous." Shadow snuck up behind Nya.

"It's been a while." Griffin Turner showed up and started punching down SOG members as he was talking. "But it looks like you could use our help."

It all happened so fast. They were showing up all over the place started taking down the SOG left and right.

"The elemental masters." I smiled.

"What's going on?" Kira asked.

"Relax, they're on our side." I told her.

A garbage truck backed into the alleyway and I was surprised to see who was driving it.

"Get in." Skylor said.

"Skylor!" I exclaimed.

"How did you know?" Nya asked.

"Let's just say we've had our ear to the ground." She winked.

I told Pixal to go back and get the mech. The rest of us got in the truck and Skylor started driving.

"You thought we were alone in this." Nya looked at the others behind us. "But we have friends."
