Zane's P.O.V.:

I woke up in a cage. I was tied up, couldn't use my powers and I could barely move. My critical systems appeared to be slowly coming back online, but the others were taking a while to reboot.

"Well, well, well, look who's finally awake." A man came close to me.

"What did you do to my friends? My brother?" I demanded.

"They're safe, for now." He said. "But they won't be once your little friend brings Firstbourne here."

"Firstbourne?"

"Yes, Iron Baron is preparing for his greatest catch yet."

"But dragons are magnificent creatures. Hunting them would be disrespectful and wrong."

"You obviously don't know how we do things around here." He laughed. "But do not worry, you and your friends will not be here much longer."

"Why?"

"Iron Baron struck a deal with your young friend. He is going to lead him to the dragon armor in exchange for you and your friends' way home."

"He wouldn't do that. With Firstbourne under his control, he would be unstoppable."

"Oh, he already did. He is taking Iron Baron there as we speak."

"He doesn't know where the dragon armor is anyway. He is leading him into a trap. You must warn him!"

"I'm not falling for that you silly Nindroid." He laughed.

He stepped away and I started to look at the cage I was in. I tried to use my scanners to analyze the cage, but they were offline, as were most of my other features.

I tried to stand up but I couldn't move my leg, or anything really. That electric shock must have temporarily disabled some of my gears and motion systems, rendering me immobile for the time being.

I had no choice but to wait a couple of hours until I was fully operational again. I couldn't hear what was going on outside, but I didn't hear Jay screaming so I figured he was either passed out or Firstborne had not come. I had to get out of here before it does, but it was no use. I just hoped my friends were alright, and that my brother was ok as well.

Echo's P.O.V.:

I came back online and I was tied to a pole with Jay, Cole, Kai and Faith, but I didn't see Wu or my brother. The others looked exhausted.

"What happened?" I asked as I came back online.

"Echo, are you ok?" Jay asked.

"Yes, but where is my brother?" I asked.

"We've been asking the same question." Kai sighed.

"What did I miss?" I asked.

"Wu left to take Iron Baron to the dragon armor, and when they come back he'll set Zane free and let us all ride Firstbourne back home." Cole informed me.

"Iron Baron is a traitor." Faith said. "He will not keep his word. We will be lucky if returns with your friend alive."

"Way to keep the spirits up." Jay rolled his eyes.

"Hey guys, something's going on." Kai said looking at the dragon hunters. They seemed to be arguing about something.

"Probably deciding which one of us to eat first." Jay screamed.

"Dragon hunters do not eat people." Faith said.

"Oh well that's good to know Faith." Jay said relieved. "So I guess it isn't all bad."

"Come on guys, while they're distracted, let's see if we can get these polls moving by rocking our bodies from side to side." Kai huffed as he started to kick his legs.

"Yeah I'm not doing that." Cole said.

"That will not be helpful." I said.

"Guys, come on. Teamwork." Kai insisted. "If we all do it together."

We all knew it wouldn't be helpful, but at this point we were willing to try anything.

"I hope the son of the first Spinjitsu master figures something out, because this is ridiculous." Faith said.

"Better than nothing right?" Jay joined in.

Wu's P.O.V.:

I was leading Iron Baron to the dragon armor with the map we had found earlier in our quest. I still had no idea if I was walking into a trap or not, but I had faith.

"Tell me something." I said as we were walking. "Why did you lie to your hunters, about the Oni being real?"

"I told them what they wanted to hear." He said. "That I would keep them safe, and in return all I ask is to be treated like a king. Is that so wrong? Look around, this is a cruel world. We do what we must to survive."

"There's more to life than surviving." I said. "You already control this realm, why do you need my father's armor?"

"There's always more to rule. That's the beauty of power, one can never have enough." He laughed. "Are you sure the dragon armor can control firstbourne?"

"Unlike you, I tell the truth."

"How very honorable of you."

Iron Baron tripped and I offered my hand. He scowled at me and got up by himself.

We continued our quest until we reached a very frail bridge across the canon.

"The bridge is too brittle to hold us both." I said.

"Than you better tread lightly." He raised his sword.

We attempted to walk across the bridge, but I had been correct. About half way across, the ground underneath Iron Baron broke and he started to fall. I caught him and pulled them back up.

"That was the perfect opportunity to get rid of me, but you missed it." He laughed.

"Somebody once told me that sometimes a little compassion can drown out large amounts of anger and hatred." I said. "Plus I gave you my word remember? Once I get you the armor, you send my ninja home."

"There's nothing I would like more than for them to be gone." He smiled.

He ordered me to keep moving and after a few more hours, we found the nest. I knew that Firstbourne only obeyed my father because he saw good in his heart. I was hoping that she would do the same for me.

And I was correct...

Zane's P.O.V.:

It must have been hours, but most of my systems had come back online except for my scanners and some other functions, but at least I could move now. I kept struggling to get out of the binds, and eventually I got myself free.

I still couldn't move my leg, but I eventually got up and hopped over to the lock on the cage. It only took me five minutes to figure out the code and then I made a break for the outside.

"Let my friends go!" I yelled.

"Zane!" My friends all shouted.

"Brother!" Echo screamed.

"Get back in your cell nindroid." One of the dragon hunters yelled.

"Guys we have to do something, Zane can hardly walk." I heard Cole say.

"I know Zane, he can get himself out of this." Kai said.

"Wait." I yelled and put my hands up in surrender. "Iron Baron is tricking all of you."

"Iron Baron has given us everything we could ask for." Jet-Jack said. "Why would he betray us?"

"Because we saw the Oni lands, we went across them and there was not an Oni in sight." I said. "They fled these lands long ago, Iron Baron just told you that so you would fear him."

"He is not lying." Faith said. "Iron Baron tricked us all."

"Is what you saying true?" Jet-Jack asked Faith.

"Yes Jet-Jack, unlike Iron Baron I would not lie to my people." She said.

Jet-Jack flew her jetpack up to my friends and cut their chains lose. My brother ran to me and helped me stand up. I nodded to him, letting him know that I was ok.

We were about to go after Firstbourne, but we didn't need too. Wu showed up riding the giant dragon, wearing his father's armor, with 4 other dragons following him. We knew this was it. We were going home.

Meanwhile in Ninjago...

Lloyd's P.O.V.:

We met up with everyone else in an alleyway where my father couldn't find us. We then made our way back to Mistaké's old tea shop.

After everything died down a bit, Kira tried to get Skylor to wake up by using her powers. She had been at it for hours and hadn't had any luck. She was trying so hard when she suddenly stopped and fell to the ground. She was so exhausted.

"Kira stop." I said helping her up. "You've been trying for hours, it's not going to work."

"I-I... I have to k-keep trying." She insisted.

She tried standing up again and almost fainted before I caught her in my arms. She looked paler than usual and she was holding her head. I was really concerned about her.

"Kira you can't even stand." I frowned. "Please take a break, I'm not loosing anyone else today."

"But I'm s-so close." She begged and coughed really bad.

"You tried your best and that's all you could do." Nya said helping me make sure Kira didn't fall over. "Don't worry, we'll find another way."

Kira sighed and finally let us sit her down in a chair. She took a few minutes to recollect herself and gain some strength back. She still looked pale and lightheaded.

"Dareth see if you can find her some healing tea." I told him.

"On it." Dareth agreed and started to look for the tea.

"I... I'm sorry I-I wasn't able to..."

"Easy Kira, save your strength." I interrupted.

"Don't sweat it, Skylor's a tough one." Seliel told her. "It takes a lot to bring her down."

"Right." I agreed. "Besides, this was all my fault, and I'm gonna get her back."

"Here you go." Dareth came back with the tea.

"Thank you Dareth." I told him and handed it to Kira. "Here, this should help."

She drank a few sips of the tea and then she looked at my ankle that I was keeping off the ground. It was bothering me after leaping from all those buildings, but I didn't want Kira to know that. The last thing I wanted was for her to be worried about me when she was feeling this weak.

"Lloyd?" She looked up at me. "Are you ok?"

"I'll be fine, it's you I'm worried about." I said.

"Just let me change your bandages, I won't need my powers for that."

"Kira just rest." I insisted. "It really doesn't hurt that bad. I'm fine."

"I don't think we have time Lloyd." Nya said as she finished looking out the peephole of the door. "They're right outside, it's only a matter of time until they..."

She was interrupted when we all heard a banging coming from the outside of the door.

"They know we're here." I quietly said.

"We need to go for the battle wagon." Nya whispered.

"And how exactly are we supposed to do that? We're surrounded on all sides." Dareth whispered.

"You guys go, I'll distract them and catch up later." Seliel said putting on her helmet.

"Seliel you can't possibly take on a whole army by yourself, you'll get captured." Nya said.

"Well if this is the end, then it was an honor to fight by your side." She smiled and warmed up one of her smoke bombs.

In one moment, the door was knocked down with Kilo and the SOG storming the shop. Seliel motioned for us to hold our breath, which we did, and she threw the smoke bomb. The whole shop was so covered in smoke, we couldn't see our hands in front of faces.

We managed to make it passed the guards on the other side of the shop. The battle wagon was stored in an alleyway across town so we made a break for that.

I knew Kira was still exhausted so I was carrying her in my arms while Dareth and Nya were helping Skylor. If my father got to her, he would probably hurt her to get revenge, or worse. We couldn't take that chance.

We were going as fast as we could, but then we were stopped by Ultra Violet. Nya stayed to hold her back and the rest of us continued our quest for the battle wagon.

Nya's P.O.V.:

"Get out of my way water lily." UV said.

She through her weapon at me, but I reversed it back at her. I charged at her and managed to land a few hits, but then she turned me over on the ground. She saw the Oni mask and tried to run for it, but I used my water power on the fire hydrant next to me and sprayed her away from it.

I ran and kicked her then I did Spinjitsu. Then she picked up a lamppost right out of the ground and hit me while I was in the tornado. I tried to avoid her swings, but next thing I knew I had slammed into a parked car and it fell on top of me.

Suddenly I heard the battle wagon hit something and then Lloyd and Dareth lifted the car off of me. Lloyd helped me up and I couldn't move my shoulder.

"Are you hurt?" Lloyd asked.

"My shoulder, it's pretty bad." I told them.

Kira was about to use her powers to heal me, but Lloyd stopped her.

"Kira no, you're exhausted. You need to let your powers recharge a little before you use them." He insisted.

"Ok." Kira sighed. "Sorry Nya."

"It's ok, we have bigger things to worry about." I said.

"Let's get her into the battle wagon." Lloyd said.

Unfortunately, we never got the chance. The SOG had us surrounded within seconds. We thought all was lost until I heard something coming through my com-link.

"I just hope our friends are ok." I heard Kai's voice.

I looked up and saw dragons in the sky. All of them were back.

"You're coming in loud and clear brother!" I said happily.

"Nya! Oh you're alright!" Jay exclaimed. I was so happy to hear his voice again.

"I don't know about that, but we could use a little help." I said.

They flew down to us and quickly took care of the SOG. They all landed their dragons and they gave us big hugs. I was so happy to see Jay again. As we were hugging, Jay touched my shoulder and I flinched.

"I'm sorry. Are you ok?" He asked concerned.

"Yeah, just got a little banged up." I told him. "I'll be fine."

"Wait since when is Zane a twin?" Dareth asked, looking at him and Echo Zane.

"We'll explain later. Wait, where are Pixal and Misako?" Zane frowned.

"Locked away in Kryptarian." Lloyd frowned.

"So is Seleil." I told Cole. He looked confused. "Long story."

"Then what are we waiting for, let's get her back." Cole said, then he blushed. "I mean... all of them... of course."

"Skylor!" My brother screamed as he noticed her leaning on Dareth and Kira. He ran over to her. "What happened?"

"She tapped into Garmadon's power. It was too much for her." I said.

"I did everything I could but I couldn't wake her up." Kira frowned. "I'm so sorry."

"It's ok Kira, I know you tried your best." Kai sighed.

"I think we can save her if we take down that golem." Lloyd said.

"Then let's get to it." Kai said.

"They can handle things down here, Lloyd and I have another matter to attend to." Wu said holding out his hand.

"But my powers aren't back yet." Lloyd frowned. "What if I can't do it?"

"I believe in you Lloyd. I love you." Kira kissed him. It made Lloyd smile.

"I love you too Kira." Lloyd smiled. "Thank you."

"Come on guys. Let's show this town who's boss!" Kai cheered.

"Ninja go!" We all shouted.

Ok guys, I have a question for you all. The original plan is to end this story at the end of Hunted, but would you guys like to see it go into MOTO with Mr. E and Kira? I have some ideas on how they could've done more with Cole's character and I think Kira could play a big part as well. Tell me what you think!
