Seliel's P.O.V.:
I woke up in a jail cell. My head hurt and my arm was sore, but it was nothing I couldn't handle. Someone came over and helped me up. I was surprised to see my father standing there.
"Dad!" I hugged him.
"Seliel." He returned my hug. I flinched as he touched my arm. "Are you hurt?"
"I'm ok. Thanks." I said.
"How did you get captured?"
"It's a long story but we don't have time. I've been working with the resistance and before you yell at me I..."
"I know, Misako and Pixal have told me all about that." He pointed to the cell next to us where Misako and Pixal were waving at me.
I was worried about what my father would say about my recent adventures with the resistance. When our village was invaded, he told me to stay and hide to keep me safe, but I was too stubborn to listen. I know I disobeyed him, but I couldn't just watch as they took them all away.
"I'm sorry Dad, I know you told me to stay back, but I just couldn't help myself."
"Of course I'm not mad sweetie." He surprisingly smiled. "I taught you to stand up for what you believe in and to fight for what's right, and after hearing what you did, I couldn't be more proud of you."
"Thanks Dad." I smiled.
"Seliel, is my son ok?" Misako asked me.
"The others are fine. I caused a distraction so they could escape and take down Garmadon, but I got captured in the process." I told her. "I held them off as long as I could, but I guess my best wasn't good enough."
"Don't be so hard on yourself." My dad put his hand on my shoulder. "You did the right thing."
"Thanks Dad." I smiled.
"Have the ninja returned yet?" Pixal asked.
"As far as I know they're still in the realm of Oni and dragon." I frowned.
"Lloyd will find a way, he always does." Misako said.
"I've seen that giant rock monster. There's no way they beat it by themselves." I said.
"Then we should find a way to help them." My father said.
"What?" I asked.
"After hearing about everything you've done, it's inspiring." He smiled. "And I think you're right. It's time we stop sitting on the sidelines and play the game instead."
"I'm with you." I smiled. I walked over to the front of the cell and started banging on the bars. "The resistance never quits! The resistance never quits!"
"The resistance never quits! The resistance never quits!" Everyone in the prison joined in the chanting and started banging on their own cells.
Eventually, Karlof knocked the door off his cell and set the rest of us free. We fought off the guards and made our way outside to help the resistance.
When we got to the streets of the city, we found out that the ninja had returned and that they were ok. I waved to Cole who was flying on a dragon and he got so happy I could see him blushing. It had been so long since I've seen him.
I met up with Nya, Skylor and Kira. Kira was trying to use her powers to heal her shoulder.
"Seliel!" Kira and Nya shouted.
"Are you ok?" Kira asked me.
"I'm fine, me and the other prisoners escaped." I explained. "We're here to help the ninja take down that golem. Where is Lloyd?"
They both frowned and pointed up to the tall building where Garmadon was. I hoped he could do it.
Lloyd's P.O.V.:
Wu and I were flying up to the building on the back of a huge dragon. All of a sudden Wu was holding his head in pain.
"What is it?" I asked.
"My brother knows we are coming." He said.
"Then we better be ready." I pulled my sword.
We finally reached the top of the building where Firstbourne dropped us off. This was it, it was time to face my father. For my friends, for Kira, for the friends we've lost, for all of Ninjago. I took my stance, here went nothing.
At first I tried to fight him, but he was too strong. He threw me into the corner and I had to roll out of the way to avoid falling off the building. My side really hurt, but I had to keep going.
Then I realized that I didn't have to fight him, I had to resist him. Once I realized that, I felt a surge of energy flow through my body. I knew my powers were back.
My father dropped to his knees and screamed. He wanted me to finish the job, but I knew it was just a trick to get me to fight him. I did it, I won.
Narrator's P.O.V.:
"Got room for one more?" Lloyd asked the commissioner as he limped to the bottom of the staircase, His defeated father was next to him.
"Lloyd!" Everyone screamed.
They ran and covered him in hugs. He was so happy to have them all back. Four officers ran to apprehend Garmadon.
"My hero." Kira smiled and kissed Lloyd on the cheek, making him blush. Kira looked down and realized that Lloyd was holding his side. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah, just got a little roughed up." Lloyd said. "I'll be fine."
"Here, let me look at that." Kira insisted.
Lloyd nodded and him and Kira went to sit on a bench. Nya was saying goodbye to Faith and Firstbourne.
"Do they have to go?" Nya asked petting Firstbourne.
"This isn't they're home." Wu said.
"I'm afraid I will have to go too brother." Echo told Zane.
"Why?" Zane asked him.
"Because those people need my help." He smiled. "They have enough nindroids here in Ninjago, they need one in the dragon realm too."
"Well if this is what you want." Zane frowned.
"I'm sorry brother." He put his hand on Zane's shoulder. "Thank you."
"For what?"
"For showing me the light." Echo smiled. "I used to bring destruction, but now I want to work to rebuild. I will return to Ninjago one day, but I have some work to do first."
"I understand." Zane sighed. "Just be careful ok?"
"I promise."
Echo gave him a hug. Zane was going to miss his brother so much, but he knew that Echo needed to discover more about himself.
Meanwhile Cole met up with Seliel. It had been so long since they had seen each other.
"I've missed you so much." Cole said to her.
"I came as soon as I heard you were gone, but here you are." Seliel smiled and hugged him. "I'm glad I got to see you before I had to go back to Nom."
"Wait, you're going back?" Cole frowned.
"I wish I didn't have to, but I just can't leave my village like this. They need my help."
"I understand." Cole sighed, disappointed that couldn't stay. "You have things you need to do."
"Seliel?" Her father called for her.
Seliel excused herself and walked over to check on her father.
"Yes Dad?"
"If you want to stay, you can." He smiled.
"But I can't just leave you to take care of the village all by yourself."
"The people of our village are resilient. I'm sure we can manage." He winked. "Besides, it's important to have allies, and if you were helping to rebuild Ninjago City would be very promising for Nom."
"If that's the case, I'll do it." Seliel smiled and hugged her father. "I'll write to you all the time, I promise."
"I'll be waiting." He smiled.
They said they're goodbyes and Seliel ran out to Cole to tell him the good news. He was of course overjoyed by it and invited her to stay at the monastery with him and the rest of the ninja. Kira overheard all of this and offered to let Seliel stay with her in her treehouse, which she accepted.
Kai was with Skylor, making sure she was ok after having Garmadon's power removed. She was a little tired but for the most part she felt fine. She found herself sitting next to Kai while he was explaining what had just happened.
"I missed all of that?" Skylor questioned holding her head.
"Yes, but it's all over now. We won." Kai smiled. "Are you feeling alright?"
"Don't worry, I'll be fine." She said. "Nothing a little rest won't fix."
"I'm glad." He smiled.
Skylor put her arms around Kai. "Thanks for coming back in one piece."
"Of course." Kai smiled.
At the end of the day, all the ninja were helping to clean up the city when the citizens of Ninjago thanked them for their help by throwing them a big party. This would be something the ninja would remember for a long time.
Or at least, until their next adventure...
