Endless fire and sand
Dark race through the building running away from the hunters, his skin burned as if hewas running through an endless fire. The salt and holy water burned his skin like someone was poking him with thousand of burning iron rods. His feet were bare and raw. It felt like his was running on hot coal. He could hear the gun shots go off and the bullets hit the fabric. They release more streams of salt and holy water. His entire body ached from constant assault.
The further he ran it seemed like he was further from the exit. He needed to get away from the assault of salt and water. He had been running for what felt like hours. He thought he remembered the way back to the entrance of the building, he must have gone farther than he realized when he awoken from being knocked out.
He quickly turned down a hallway and busted through the first door he encountered on his right. Quickly shutting the door behind him, he took many deep breaths with his eyes closed. As he leaned against the door his skin seared and screamed at him, he felt like it was bubbling off of his muscles and bones. Although, he knew with some food and sleep his body would be just fine. When he opened his eyes back up he saw some kind of metallic door that looked completely out of place. Curious, Dark approached the door, feeling its cold surface was such a relief to his hands. He couldn't help, but grab a hold of the knob of the door just to see what was on the other side. Something screamed in him to go through the door.
He opened it to see the door way ripple as if someone dropped a pebble in water. The endless rippling and colors made Dark think again about going through the door. He tapped the ripples to see more ripples form. He stuck his hand through the doorway to see it disappear within the ripples. The demon looked back at the door he came from.
"What if whatever is through this door here, takes me away from here, like some portal?" Dark thought out loud and he looked into his hand that he realized was clinging tight to Anti's collar.
"What if Anti is here somewhere?" Dark thought than he looked back at the door he came from.
"What if what ever they gave him was, his cure?" Dark continued thinking, "Is it even safe to go through this door?" He looked at the portal-like door again and used his free hand to feel the ripples, but it felt like it was sinking sand. As soon as his hand touched it, he couldn't pry his hand free. He was quickly sucked into the portal with the door slamming shut behind him.
