Kol wasted no time in hugging his wife not caring that there was an audience watching, only that he needed her back in his arms again.

His wife was tiny so his head went on top of her head so he pushed his nose into her hair and inhaled her scent.

Infuriatingly, his scent is gone from her.

I guess that means he'll have to reclaim her again, he thought wickedly.

But for now he was content knowing that she was safe in his arms.

She 100% didn't blush the entire way home after that statement.

She realises he's looking at her for answers as to why she has tears in her eyes.

"I couldn't feel the bond." She whispered out finally. A look of realisation passed on Kol's face as he realised why his wife was upset now.

"I couldn't feel you or the kids when I woke up. And I thought they got you again." she says 'they' venomously.

Kol understood where Bonnie was coming from.

The last time him and their kids were taken from her because of them, Bonnie didn't let them out of her sight for two months.

Not until she knew that they all of them were safe and at home with her.

Yes, the had kids whined a lot about Bonnie being an overbearing mother hen ,since they were teenagers and young adults, but in reality Kol knew that their kids were relieved to be safe in their mothers arms again.

Kol took Bonnie in his arms and kissed her forehead gently.

"I'm right here Bonnie. And I'm not going anywhere. Not unless you're by my side, my darling."

Bonnie snorted and said against his chest , "Sap."

Kol chuckled and as he took her by her hand and kissed it before replying, "Ah but I'm your sap Bonnie darling."

Klaus had enough of the confusion he felt watching his younger brother be all lovey-dovey to the Bennett Witch that has thwarted his plans over and over again.

But to his growing confusion Bonnie smirked the same smirk he's smirked to many before him a- A true Mikaelson smirk, which baffled him into silence and shock.

Bonnie and Kol were trying so hard not to laugh at the comical look of shock on Klaus's face,

Bonnie heard footsteps in the corridor and instantly knew who it was judging by the power she felt coming from the person.

She started to count down with her fingers, ignoring the looks of confusion she got from everyone in the room except for Kol who was listening to the footsteps as well, a smirk growing on his face as he heard them come closer.

Tears gathered in her eyes as she saw the fear on his face as he readied himself for rejection.

"Hello Mother-In-Law," a voice interrupted.

Esther snapped her head to Bonnie and paled immensely at the wicca's bloodthirsty smile towards her.

"Were you not expecting to see me so soon?"

Esther watched as Bonnie tilted her head at her as if she was a predator assessing her prey before pouncing.

Kol also noticed and edged closer towards his wife at her deadly tone towards his mother.

Kol knew his wife, which is how he knew when his wife tilts her head, she's enraged.

"What's the matter Mother-In-Law? You look terrified. And all I've done is greet you." Bonnie said in a false soothing tone.

"Bonnie, I know you're angry-" Esther was cut off by a cold laugh.

"Angry? Angry?" 

Bonnie laughed as if Esther told her a funny joke.

That is until she stopped.

"Oh Esther," Bonnie tutted as if she was scolding her child. 

"I'm not angry. No. My level of rage has reached to the point that when I don't get answers from you, I'm going to summon Arcadius to let me give me hellfire to torture you until you make sense of the situation you've put us in because I'm confused Esther. I'm really confused about what you're thinking of doing so please indulge me as to why have you sent me and my husband back in time?"
