It was a cold winter day, about mid-to late November. I sit in my car watching my breath fog my window and the little white powdery flakes of snow fall to the ground as I wait for Yoi, , to get out of the grocery store. I spot him finally, he's walking on the slippery concrete parking lot to the car where I sit waiting on him, smiling. His arms strained carrying two large paper sacks filled with food, water, and other things I needed to pick up.

"Could you have possibly have taken any longer?" I question him as he opens the car door to open the trunk.

"Sorry, Yuna the lines were long."

"You sure you weren't looking at that 'hot' cashier?"

"Shut up." He says giving me a playful shove.

I shove him back. I turn on the radio. music blasts through the speakers.

"Sorry I normally listen to it loud." He reaches to turn it down.

I brush his hand away.

"Its fine."

He grins.

"We should probably get going."

"Yeah."

I laugh.

We head to my house, listening to the radio almost on full blast.

"Jesus Yoi!" I say clutching the sides of the seat as he swerves to miss a pothole.

"Sorry," he says looking at me like an injured puppy.

After a very hectic and loud ride (I swear I'm never going to hear again) we finally get to my house.

"Hey I'll text you later," he says as I step out of the car.

"You do that." I smile and start to walk away.

He chuckles."Okay, I'll see you tomorrow Yuni."

I look back and wave, "See ya."
