Belle sighs walking down to the infirmary hand in hand with Colton. His fingers locked in a vice grip with her own. The morning light is barely peaking through the tall windows of the pack house. Her eyes looking over the beds where familiar faces lie. The sounds of their steps making all eyes turn to them. Jezabelle can't help but smile ear to ear as the tears pull behind her eyes. 

"Belle!"

She is quickly engulfed by the raven hair whose strength knocks the wind out of her. She doesn't complain as her sister continues to hold her. Only the sound of other feet making her look up to find Kacia and Tara now jogging to her. Nessa steps to her side allowing her sisters to hug her. They all look at each other as they embrace in a sisterly hug. 

Colton walks over to sit on a chair beside his best friend who thankfully is back to his human form while keeping in an eye on his mate. After a few minutes, the girls begin walking back over. Leo and Jake have their backs to the headboard of the beds. Kacia easily slinks into her mate's side who openly kisses her temple making her smile tenderly. Jake opens his arms wide as his little sunshine leaps to him make the pair laugh. Belle walks to Colton sitting on his lap while Nessa pouts playfully. The others chuckling softly at her while Jake opens his other arm. 

"I have room for two?"

"Ewww... you smell." Jake now pouts while Tara laughs at his expression. She ends up sitting at the end of their bed. "What happens now?"

Jake's question silences their laughter as they each look to one another. Belle sighs loudly catching their attention as she lays her head against Colton's while his arm is wrapped around her back. 

"We move on..."

"No"

All heads jerk to the door. Belle is up in an instant running to her mother whose arms are all ready for her. She practically jumps into her as Grace giggles gently. The others sisters remaining where they are at allowing for them to have a moment. Grace squeezes her for a good moment before releasing her and looking about the room. Her eyes slowly going over each. She walks Belle back over to the group where she takes her rightful seat on Colton. Grace can't help but look so fondly at her little warriors. 

"We remember what has occurred, and we grow." Her eyes shifting to Kacia and the man beside her. "We have not been properly introduced.."

She watches as he scrambles out of the bed making Kacia grin at his actions. He outstretches his hand to her. "Leo Danford ma'am."

"Nice to meet you Leo, I owe an apology young man." Leo's brows pull together in confusion as she brings her second hand to their grasped hands. "I am the one who attacked your pack."

It takes a minute to click before his eyes go wide and he steps back involuntarily. She takes a deep inhale expecting that reaction. The room remains quiet for a moment to see how he reacts. 

"Thank you" His words are spoken soft but all eyes are wide in surprise by his statement. "My pack was corrupted and were only spiraling... I should know."

Grace looks deep and can see that he has his own deep pain lingering and chooses not to push it. She steps forward and embraces him making the man go stiff. Leo's heart races a mile a minute as he stands stock still. Grace waits and soothingly rubs his back making the young man finally relax and hold her back. She pats his back pulling back. 

"Keep that in mind if you ever hurt my daughter."

"MOM"

The room explodes into laughter while Leo visibly pales looking to Kacia. Kacia reaches for him and he walks back over laying back down beside her. Grace has a gentle smile tugging at her lips before sitting beside Nessa at the end of Jake's bed. 

"And Jake, how are you?"

"Oh Grace you wouldn't believe the torture your daughters have put me through?!"

Kacia and Nessa look to each other knowingly while Tara just bites her lip to stop from laughing. Grace smirks. "Oh do tell.."

"I woke up after being shot... 3 times I might add to find Nessa and Tara painting my wolf's nails!"

Grace covers her mouth with her hand while Colton and Belle openly roar with laughter. Kacia and Leo chuckling as well. Grace pats his legs in a comforting manner. "In all serious Jake, I understand Belle and Colton would have been knocked out if not for you."

This makes all look to Jake who scratches his neck not use to such attention. "Well... I had to."

"Thank you Jake"

Belle says sincerely while Jake just shakes his head. Tara quickly pecks his cheek making his eyes widen before looking down at her in surprise. His cheeks beginning to turn a light pink before clearing his throat. The group smiling at them. 

"Mom, what happened with the Elders?" Kacia asks while her head lays on Leo's shoulder. 

Grace takes a deep inhale exhaling slowly. "Well, there will be a full report made where we will have to tell them what all occurred... minus a few details." She says winking at Tara. Jake's arm tightening around his little ball of sunshine. 

Leo looks around confused but she continues. "Things will be changing girls."

All girls go stiff looking to their mom however she turns her gaze to her blonde beauty. "Jezabelle will be moving in with Colton in the pack house."

Belle gulps not knowing how to feel. She is elated to be with her mate but looking at her sisters, she is not ready to leave them. Grace then turns to Kacia and Leo's bed. 

"The Northern Crescent pack has been broken apart for the time being... that is until you are ready to become the rightful Alpha."

Leo raises his head as his heart races. "Ma'am, I am not-"

She raises her hand stopping him mid sentence. "I can tell you are not that is why I think it would be best if you took up residence here in Southern Crescent Pack while be trained by both Alpha Desmond and Colton."

Both Leo and Colton looking to each other. Colton gives him a firm nod making Leo relax and nod his head as well. Kacia kisses his cheek making him relax. "Now Kacia being your mate will also be moving to the pack house."

Nessa's heart is racing hearing her mother's words. Grace grips her hand making her dark irises turn to her. "You my eldest will be watching over your baby sister while Kacia and Belle learn the ways of the pack."

Tara's eyes watering with the news that two of her sisters will not be returning home. Jake kisses her head making her close her eyes as the tears cascade down her cheeks. Grace sees this and tells her to come here. Tara instantly crawls on the bed to her sister. Grace continues as she holds Tara and Nessa's hand. 

"They are less than a 10 minute jog away. For you Tara, you can visit instantly."

"May want to knock first." Jake mutters lowly making the group laugh softly. His words lightening the mood. "WAIT I can move in with you!"

"JAKE!" All sisters say together before laughing. Grace shakes her head negatively at him making the tall man pout as Tara crawls back to his side. He wraps his arm around her shoulder rubbing her arm affectionately. 

"Can we join?"

They turn to find Alpha Desmond and Penny walking in. Penny walks quickly to Belle and Colton before hugging them both. She kisses both of their heads affectionately before standing back up. Desmond giving his son a tight shoulder squeeze while nodding to Belle. 

"Dad, Leo is going to be staying with us for the foreseeable future."

Colton states making his parents look to the newcomer. His power radiating of Alpha. Leo sits up straighter holding Desmond's eye contact. "You're Talson's son?"

"That man was no father to me sir." Leo says gruffly. Kacia rubs his torso catching Desmond's attention. All remains silent for a moment before Desmond nods his head at him. 

"Son, we were thinking it would be best if Jezabelle stayed here with us." Penny speaks up softly not wanting to upset the room. She is stunned seeing most of the group smiling. She turns to her friend to find a smirk on her lips. 

"I just told Belle and Kacia it would be best if they moved in with their mates and learn the ways of the pack." Penny sighs in relief smiling widely before looking to Kacia then Belle happy to have them join. 

"Did the Elders leave?" Colton asks his parents. They nod their head thankfully. A look of relief washes over everyone. 

"They said they would allow you all to rest before taking everyone statements. I do believe they are some what scared of Grace." 

The room laughs at this while Grace smirks looking at Penny before winking. "There is still the matter of Alpha Talson to attend to and also Thaddeus."

Penny can see the confused faces of the group so she continues. "Has Thaddeus not spoken to you yet? He was about to leave."

All eyes turn to Grace who looks equally confused. She stands up from the bed excusing herself as she walks out of the room. She makes it quickly to the front door where she finds Thaddeus pocketing his phone. 

"Running away already?" Grace asks walking up behind him. His steel eyes turning to her instantly as a small smile lays on his lips. 

"No, I have to head back to the Coven to finish up some matters."

"Such as?" Grace pushes stepping to him while he looks at the floor before looking back to her. 

"I have closed the case officially against Belle and I need to clear out my office."

"What do you-"

"I have chosen to leave the Coven."

Grace staggers back not expecting that. Thaddeus' arms coming up to steady her. "Thaddeus... wha-why?"

"It wouldn't be right if I was on the other side when it came time to protect your daughters. I want to stand by your side, not against it."

Grace doesn't know what to say. He is giving up the head position of a Coven for her. She feels shock, adoration, and worry. They have not been official for very long and what if things didn't work out. 

"I can see those wheels turning Grace..."

"Thaddeus, are you-"

"Yes." He leans forward kissing her forehead. "The truth is I never felt like that position was right for me. Meeting you and your family... I finally feel like I belong."

"But Thaddeus, we haven't even went on a proper date. What if this doesn't work out."

"I have faith Grace..." He kisses her forehead again while here eyes remain wide. "Besides, if it doesn't work. I could always just travel around."

He shrugs like this isn't a massive deal. Grace can't think straight but when his lips come down to meet hers, the thoughts drift away in the wind. Their kiss dancing together in beautiful harmony. Unbeknownst to them is the audience of everyone behind them. The four sisters holding each other watching as their mom finally has a chance at happiness. 

"This is going to take some time getting used to." 

All the girls laugh at Belle's words but are grateful. He is willing to stand for them... and that means more than any words could ever say. 

"YOUNG EYES HERE!" All girls snap their attention to him. 

"JAKE!"
