The final bell ringing brings Jezabelle back to the present. Throughout the entire lesson, she could feel the judgmental stares from her fellow classmates. The girls in her class always glaring at her. She couldn't help but grin getting under their skin. The only person that dared to talk to her the entire lesson was the warlock, Davion. She attempted to ignore him much to the green eyed god's pleasure. 

Colton could have ripped the head off the fucking warlock more than once. If it wasn't for his beta keeping him in check each time. All he wanted through the class was to be near her. He could tell she felt something. Her eyes locked with him on multiple occasions. The power her eyes had on him was paralyzing. He could breath in her scent endlessly. It was addicting and seeing Davion attempting to approach her on more than one occasion continued to make his blood boil. The dipshit kept sending him cocky smirks before walking over to her. The only thing that stopped him from getting murdered was the fact that his beauty didn't even bat an eyelash at him. 

Finding her sisters already in Kacia's car, she made her way over as Tara had her helmet in her hands. She kissed her cheek taking the helmet walking back over to her black beauty letting her fingers leisurely run over the steel. Pulling her eyes away from her baby she catches the eyes again of Colton who is standing near a black truck with a longing look. Her body warms at his intense stare and she can't pull her eyes away. 

"Come on Belle! Mom's expecting us!" 

She blinks climbing onto her bike finally tearing her eyes away from his emerald pair. She puts her helmet on and kicks the kickstand back up while revving her baby to life. She winks at Kacia and takes off leaving an alpha with the urge to follow her. Kacia catches his eyes momentarily with a confused look before following her sister out of the parking lot. 

"Dude, quit staring." 

"Fuck you"

Jake erupts into laughter at the sight of his best friend. Colton has never really taken an interest in girls. It wasn't that he didn't see them, it's just he always saved himself for his mate. He didn't want to be with anyone except the one that was meant to be his. What a fucking surprise to find that person is a witch. Someone he was sworn to never be with. 

"Get in Tate, we got a meeting with your dad. Then we can go for a run." 

With a heavy sigh, Colton climbs into his truck while still picturing his goddess straddling that bike. He felt himself getting hard just by the mental picture. Groaning he started up the truck only earning some more chuckles by his friend. After a nudge to the shoulder, he pulls out of the parking lot heading to the pack house. 

Tara's eyes followed Jezabelle's form as she glided through the traffic with the ease of an expert. Kacia still lost in her thoughts picturing the look the alpha had on his face. It didn't make sense. His eyes held adoration and lust for Belle. Shaking the thoughts away for now, she will talk to Belle when they are alone. They pulled in to Hell's Belles parking lot and parked next to the bike before climbing out. 

Jezabelle felt her body relax finally being away from the school. Walking into their mom's bar, the workers welcome them with friendly greetings or waves as they pass to her office. Tara squeals running over to the bar where Nessa is currently stocking the liquor for the night. Hearing the familiar sound, Nessa whips around with a grin and braces for impact. Kacia took the opportunity to walk up next to Belle clearing her throat. Her sister's catlike eyes snapping to her. 

"Soo... anything interesting happen at school?"

Belle could see the gleam in her eyes telling her she knows something. She sighs knowing she couldn't lie to her sisters. It was a rule they had. Glancing back to make sure no one was near she turned back to her sister. 

"You know." 

"I have an idea... but I would rather you confirm it."

"Colton?" Kacia nods her head waiting for her to elaborate. With one more heavy sigh, she continues. "I honestly don't know what it is. He was in my first class and he stared at me the entire time. He touched my arm at the end of the lesson, and my body just... ignited." 

"Oh shit..." 

Kacia releases under her breath. Her sister was mated to an Alpha. And worse, she had no fucking clue how to tell her. It was never heard to be mated to a different kind before. Before they could continue, Nessa walks up arm linked with Tara. Nessa hugs both of them not realizing the tension between the two until pulling away. 

"You okay Kacia?"

Belle gives her sister a pleading look making Kacia nod her head answering Nessa. They all walk off to the office upstairs to greet their mother. Pushing the door open, they find her sitting behind her desk with paperwork sprawled out over the table. 

"My girls!" All of them smile running over to hug her firmly. Grace embraces it feeling happy to see them all again. Nessa had been here all day keeping her calm. Her nerves were on edge worried about how the first day would go for the trio. It seems her concerns were in vein. They appear to be fine but she can sense her little Belle's aurora is... off? She gave a small smile but didn't push it at this time. "So tell me!" 

"It was... interesting." 

Kacia said giving a quick glance to Belle. Her eyes were down casted though. Grace can see there is something more but trust her daughter will come to her when she is ready. She gives them all one more good squeeze before looking to the wall clock. Nessa follows her gaze and sighs. 

"It's time for you girls to get going home. We open in an hour." 

They each kiss their mom before exiting the office. Tara is linked to Nessa who smiles at her adoringly. Kacia and Belle linked behind as they follow behind. Kacia leans over giving a quick kiss to her sister's shoulder. The gesture helped relax Belle slightly. 

"Whose ready for Tag?"

At this the girls erupt into giggles as they climb onto their vehicles. Belle on her bike, Kacia and Tara in the car and Nessa on a bike of her own. All racing off towards home. Belle's mind forgetting all other thoughts other than her sisters.

Colton and Jake walked into the pack house as some of the pack members greeted them. They both gave nods of their heads in acknowledgement. Heading to the alpha's study, they knock hearing a gruff 'come in' before walking in. Standing by the window with a drink in hand was Alpha Tate. He glanced over seeing his son and Jake stroll in before stopping at the front of his desk. Getting a strong sniff, he smells something. Colton's breathing falters as he watches his father's eyes zero on him. 

"Son... Where have you've been?"

"School father." 

Alpha Tate steps away from the window and keeps his gaze on his son. His son has went to school and come home with limited smells but this one... it is stronger. He watched as Jake moved uncomfortable in his seat. 

"Jake will you excuse us." 

Jake stands giving a small bow before exiting the room. Colton continues looking downward as his father studies him. The silence making the tension thick in the room. 

"Who is she?"

At this Colton's eyes snap upward as his father gives him a knowing look. It scared him to know how easily his father was able to read him. He reached back rubbing his neck as his mind raced back to the blonde bombshell with the feline eyes. 

"My mate"

His father nods his head in thought as Colton continues waiting for his reaction. His dad takes a deep inhale releasing it slowly. His nostrils filling with the unusual scent. He is fully aware the scent is that of a witch. 

"You understand what kind of position you are in?"

At this Colton feels his wolf pushing to come forth. He can sense his dad's discomfort from the situation. He didn't choose it but he will NOT turn away a gift from the moon goddess. There has to be a reason for it...

"I will not reject her" 

Studying his son. He can see his eyes flickering with the yellow while his voice holds utter determination. He nods his head walking back to his desk before sitting down in his seat. Taking another gulp of the amber liquid before setting the glass down. 

"The Northern Crescent pack's alpha and daughter are coming to visit soon. I need you to help make sure our pack is ready for them." 

"Any particular reason for their visit?"

Alpha Tate shakes his head negatively although his heart is heavy. He knows Alpha Sardon is hoping to forge an alliance with a union however he already stated that he would never put his son in that position. He wanted to allow him to find his perfect half. This of course caused tension between him and the alpha. 

"I need to know about her son..."

"When I learn more, so will you."

The alpha nods his head in acknowledgment as his son goes to stand up. Alpha Tate follows suit and stands giving his son a hug taking a whiff of the odor once more. It is not like the scents he has inhaled before. 

Colton gives his dad a nod before leaving the office. His so called friend leaning against the door. He scoffs while Jake follows behind him. 

"Don't be like that. I can't go against your father's orders. You kn-"

"He asked you.. not ordered." 

Jake sighs knowing his friend was irritated. He shut his mouth and followed him towards their rooms. 

"Look man, I'm sorry alright?" 

Colton took a deep breath and a gave one firm nod before going into his room to change. He rolled his shoulders and neck trying to let his mind release the tension it held. He quickly changed coming out of his room the same time as his friend. They went to the backyard and began running. The parameter check was easy enough, it was just time consuming. Their lands stretched out wide but they had many warriors to stand guard. More than halfway done, a familiar scent wafted into his nostrils making his head perk up. He stopped and took a deep inhale. 

Mate

He turned and saw that Jake had stopped as well. Without thinking about it, his feet lead him towards the scent. Jake was running by his side. They stopped along the tree line of a neighboring land looking around. 

"That's not fair!" 

The voice sounded not too far away. The boys slowly walked on being aware of their surroundings. They stopped when they began seeing movement. Colton's eyes trained on the blonde curls that were moving in the wind. He didn't hide but chose to stand in the open. He didn't want to appear to be spying but he was intrigued. 

All of a sudden, a whip of wind flew past him very close to Belle. She turns looking the opposite way of his location. She releases a light laugh just as he sees a wolf come running towards her backside. His instincts kicking in as he takes off towards his mate. The wolf goes in for her as Colton smashes into its side sending the wolf flying. His mate now turns around eyes wide all the while Colton goes towards the wolf. Jake coming out but only for his body to be flung threw the air. Belle gasp rushing to intervene between Colton and Kacia. 

"Colton STOP!" 

This breaks him from his train of thoughts. He watches as the wolf growls before getting up. It transforms. Standing before him is the she-wolf he met earlier today. Her eyes narrowed in on him. His mate is standing by her side. Getting ready to question them, he gets whiplash as his body is thrown hard onto the ground. He didn't even see what attacked him. He sucks in a deeply trying to breathe air in while Jake walks over holding his shoulder but offering his good arm to Colton. They stand up and turn back to the girls to find a new member standing protectively in front of his mate and the she wolf. 

Instantly the males stiffen seeing her blood red eyes. A low growl emitting from Jake's chest earning a snarl from the woman. Colton is about to step forward but he watches as his mate places a hand on the vampire's shoulder who then relaxes slightly. Her eyes are still trained on him and Jake but he can see the effect his mate has on her. Confusion laces his face as he turns to find Jake with furrowed eye brows as well. 

"Colton, what are you doing here?"

His body instantly thrums hearing her voice. She steps forward only for an arm from the vampire to shoot out stopping her. Colton narrows his eyes on the blood thirsty creature. 

"Nessa, stop" 

The vampire drops her arm allowing his mate to step forward. He quickly steps forward so they are only a foot apart. Neither saying anything as their eyes continue diving deeper into each other's souls. Their bodies recognizing the bond and finding comfort in it. A low primitive growl escapes Colton's throat. 

"You are not permitted on our property." 

Their bubble burst hearing the vampire's words. Belle turns back to her sister who looks tense. She sighs before looking back to Colton who has taken a step closer. His woodsy smell enveloping her. 

"Nessa, this is Colton." Her eyes remained locked with the hypnotic eyes as she speaks. "Colton, these are my sisters." 

At this Colton's head whips up to look behind her finding Nessa and Kacia linked together. A wolf, a vampire, and a witch?! He takes a step back trying to process this. Jake however steps forward tilting his head. 

"They can't be your-"

"We. Are." 

Kacia says with clear conviction stressing each word. She emits a high whistle and a moment later Tara is bouncing over towards them. Her eyes widen when she notices the two males. She walks over slowly standing next to Kacia who takes her hand. 

"Sisters, Colton is-"

"Her mate."
