Not so civil
"Oh yeaaaa this is was such a good idea, let's join Voltron, what's the worst that could happen?" Lance mimicked Lotors accent with a high voice.
"I don't sound like that," Lotor said flatly as he leaned against the wall.
"Yes you do, look where we are now, in the cells of an altean ship that also holds Voltron, or would you like to point out that I am technically a traitor," Lance got to his knees crossing his arms looking at the wall.
Lotor and Lance sat in separate cells in a silver white prison as they're wrists where cuffed in front of them as they where next to each other. With a thick metal wall between them.
"No worries my love, all in time, things will work out," Lotor smirked and Lance shook his head sitting back down against the wall.
-two hours before-
"Do we let him land the ship in the castle?" Hunk asked as everyone regathered.
"Are you okay?" Shiro asked Keith softly as Keith stood in the back.
"I'm still alive," Keith shrugged him off as he stayed in his Marmora suit.
"Can we trust Lotor?" Pidge spoke up.
"No, he's pure galra, the prince, raised by zarkon, it's a trap," Allura narrowed her eyes.
"He had the chance before to kill us, why would he wait till now?" Matt asked.
"To kill us from the inside, we have to strike before he gets us first," Keith narrowed his eyes.
"Or just not let him in at all?" Hunk held his hands behind his back.
"Hunk has a point, Lotor is waiting to be granted permission, we can deny it," Pidge agreed standing with her brother.
"We should hear him out, but if your all uncomfortable then we can cuff him," Shiro nodded and everyone agreed simply.
"Shiro this is a bad idea," Allura stopped him as the others passed them.
"I know, but Lotors ship if powerful, we at least need the Intel," Shiro nodded and let her to the garage as Coran hesitated but let Lotor have access to get inside the castles hangars.
----
"Do we just wait here?" Lance leaned against the fighter with his arms crossed and helmet on but blackened the glass as he laid his head on Lotors shoulder a little as they were side by side. When they got out of the ship Lotor broke the cuffs off of Lances wrists.
"I believe they're on the way," Lotor looked at a screen as he hasn't taken his helmet off either, just in case they had to leave quickly.
"I hear foot steps," Lance grabbed his blaster charging it up but set it back in case of a fight.
The doors opened and Lance sent a small glare as he saw the Paladins of Voltron heading their way.
"Princess Allura I presume?" Lotor walked over offering a hand but raised an eye brow seeing they all had a bayard in hand.
"Prince Lotor," she glared up at him with a tight grip on her red bayard.
"In the flesh," he nodded.
"And this is?" She glanced at the general behind him.
"My right hand man, my general, we mean no harm in your castle," Lotor told her with his hands behind his back.
"I find that hard to believe," Allura grabbed his shoulder and shoved Lotor against the ship as she slapped white cuffs on his wrist.
But a gun being charged made everyone freeze.
The general held the gun an inch away from Alluras head as Lotor seemed calm and amused by her reaction of shock and fear.
"Let him go," Lance glared as he held the gun to allura's head. His voice clear and they all immediately recognized it.
"Lance?" Shiro looked at him but only saw the general with a black lense helmet.
"You wouldn't," Allura didn't even look at him.
"Things change princess, now let him go," Lance growled at her.
"Lance put down your weapon," Shiro reached out only to freeze when Lance held a second gun at him. Even if they couldn't see his face they could tell lance wasn't bluffing.
"Tell your general to put down his blaster," Allura snarled in Lotors ear.
"Release me," Lotor chuckled.
"Lance stop, please!" Keith stepped forward and the general looked at him and saw keiths in a blade of Marmora suit while Keith looked at him in his blue, dark grey, and orange armor.
"Alright enough of this," Lotor sent a look and Lance and he nodded shooting the cuffs on Lotor and took a step back.
"It's on stun anyways," Lance told them putting the blaster away as Lotor got the cuffs off.
"We came and saw, this was a regret, let's go," Lance took off his helmet looking at Lotor as he took his off as well as his long hair flowed down his back and Lances hair was a mess.
"I told you to never come back," Pidge was held back by Matt and hunk glaring at hunk.
"I didn't want too, besides, not like I'm crying for forgiveness," Lance stood at Lotors side. The prince noticed lances body signs of how uncomfortable he was and couldnt look at anyone.
"I wished to make an alliance to end the war, but this obviously would not smoothly work, we will leave," Lotor said glaring at Allura and Lance looked at him with wide eyes.
"Wait Lotor we need to end the war," Lance said quickly.
"There are other ways," Lotor nodded and put a hand on his shoulder as Lance looked at him.
"Wait don't go," hunk pushed pass everyone.
"Lance, I'm so sorry," hunk held his hands close with fearful eyes and Lance softened looking at the man he once saw as a brother.
"I know hunk," he smiled.
"I'm sure we can bring everyone together, put aside our differences for the sake of the universe, we have to two most powerful weapons ever made, Allura, Shiro, they came without wanting to attack, Lance only defended," hunk said standing between the two.
"He held a gun to my head," Allura spat.
"It was on stun," Lance shrugged. "Besides, it happens," he looked away.
"You did attacked first," Keith agreed remembering Allura attacking Lotor with cuffs.
"Let them stay, have a civil conversation," Matt nodded.
Pidge glared at Lance as Allura did at both of them.
Shiro nodded.
"Your welcome on the castle under certain circumstances," Shiro sighed and Lance closed his eyes. He wanted to leave so much, but he felt Lotor brush against him lightly for comfort.
"I wouldn't expect any less," Lotor nodded with a calm look.
-present time-
"Oh yeaaaa this is was such a good idea, let's join Voltron, what's the worst that could happen?" Lance mimicked Lotors accent with a high voice.
"I don't sound like that," Lotor said flatly as he leaned against the wall.
"Don't care, look where we are now, in the cells of an altean ship that also holds Voltron, or would you like to point out that I am technically a traitor," Lance got to his knees crossing his arms looking at the wall.
Lotor and Lance sat in separate cells in a silver white prison as they're wrists where cuffed in front of them as they where next to each other. With a thick metal wall between them.
"No worries my love, all in time, things will work out," Lotor smirked and Lance shook his head sitting back down against the wall.
"They really do hate me, it won't end well," Lance sighed laying his head back.
"They may give you another chance," Lotor offered.
"I don't want a second chance," Lance narrowed his eyes across the room. Lotor glanced behind him at the wall but he knew Lance was there.
"You say that now Lance, but you'll take it back another day," Lotor looked down.
"Get some rest, it's been rough," Lotor sighed and Lance smiled a little and nodded.
"You too,"
