Mourning of the past
"I don't know how much longer I can take this Lotor," Lance whispered as he and Lotor stood in the halls alone with his arms crossed after being granted privacy to speak.
"It's going to be hard, but your strong, trust me," Lotor rubbed his arm gently and Lance smiled softly.
"This is like a bad family reunion," Lance smirked and Lotor rolled his eyes. He was about to walk away but Lance grabbed him and yanked him back, lacing his fingers with lotors.
"I think your forgetting that rearrangement," Lance smirked up at him and Lotor chuckled softly as he held the back of lances head and kissed his forehead gently.
"You just like the attention," Lotor held the side of his face and Lance shrugged but agreed holding his hand against his cheek.
"Maybe I just like you," Lance stood on his toes and kissed Lotor softly. The galra felt all his troubles melt away smoothly and replaced with the warmth and relaxation of the human and held Lance closer around the waist and Lance closed his eyes softly as they're lips touched again but with more passion and closer together, forgetting all the stress for those sweet few seconds.
"Just like?" Lotor teased against his lips and Lance brought him back down.
"I love you," Lance whispered against his skin and Lotor smiled as he dipped down again closing his eyes while moving his lips against the tan humans.
"Not here," Lance pulled away before they got caught. Lotor coughed awkwardly with a small chuckle as Lance blushed with a smirk at him.
"Don't give me that look, last time I got that look I was covered in hickies," Lance pointed at him and Lotor pulled him close again as his hands where on his waist and Lance laughed placing his hands on his chest.
"We're going to get caught," Lance giggled as he was pressed against the wall.
"Good," Lotor purred as his lips brushed lances neck.
"Let them see your mine," he smirked and Lance giggled childishly holding Lotors shoulders.
"No no, bad first impressions, Lotor we can't, we don't even belong on this ship," Lance couldn't get the smile off his face as Lotor held him and felt his sides and curved torso.
"Then we should continue on our ship?" Lotor raised an eye brow. Lance covered his face and hid himself in the crooks of Lotors neck blushing darkly.
"Your terrible," Lance mumbled with a small giggle.
"Only for you my love," Lotor made Lance look up at him holding his chin and Lance smiled at him again.
"If that's it thank god, I thought that was going to turn into a porno and I rather not watch that," Matt snickered as he walked over and the couple jumped.
"Oh my god you and Pidge are to similar it's terrifying," Lance looked at him over Lotors shoulder.
"What's up Matt?" Lance asked as Lotor let go of him blushing dark purple not expecting to actually get caught.
"Hunk made something new, seeing if you guys where hungry," Matt smirked. Lotor raised an eye brow confused. He scoffed a little.
"I've been to almost everywhere in this galaxy-"
-
"-and this is one of the most delightful meals I've ever had," Lotor said in awe as he took a bit of the alien home made meal hunk offered him.
It was just Lotor, Lance, Matt, and Shiro as everyone else was doing their own thing such as training or searching for the galra.
"Thanks man," hunk beamed sitting next to Lance. They started a conversation easily as hunk was telling Lance on all the things they've done so far, the rebels, the exploding planet. Lance exchanged how he and Lotor and their friends accomplished amazing things too and even kept a few secrets from the empire.
Lotor smiled at how Lance included the great things, his successes, everything he's done so far and how he rescued Lance and took him in.
"Lance, I really am sorry for that day, I didn't stick up for you and I should have, I-I was just in shock," hunk explained softly as the room grew quiet.
"I... I know hunk," Lance looked at him sadly and glanced at Shiro who nodded at him with sad eyes.
"But it was true, all of it, I fucked up still, but the communicator, that's how I could contact Lotor in case of emergencies, he let me go to return to you guys at free will, I wasn't a prisoner technically but I had to stay so the galra wouldn't go after me," Lance explained.
"But I do work with the galra, I did, I'm sorry but I'm never being a paladin again," Lance sighed looking away knowing everyone would be disappointed in him.
"Was it worth it?" Shiro asked with a little hurt in his voice.
"Yes," Lance answered without hesitation.
"But you know what the galra do Lance,"
"I do, but it wasn't so bad, i see both sides of the war, I found people I... I could rely on," he smiled a little, feeling Lotor next to him.
"You found Lotor," hunk stated seeing the two, how they acted around each other, it was obvious they were something.
"Yea, I'm sorry," Lance closed his eyes but Lotor frowned a little with worried eyes seeing Lances old habits came back with always apologizing and being ashamed of himself.
"Don't be, a lots changed since earth, it'll keep changing, but if your happy with Lotor, why should we stop it?" Hunk smiled softly.
"Unless it's against us," he said seriously and Lance chuckled a little.
"Actually paladin, Lance made sure I didn't harm you, such as our first battle," Lotor spoke up and Shiro looked at him confused.
"What battle?" Shiro asked and the two Paladins whistled innocently as Lance smirked.
"We totally kicked your guys ass," Lance snickered.
"We were still new!" Matt defended and laughed a little.
"Um hunk, you have no excuse," Lance looked at his best friend.
"I was teaching?" He offered.
"I was learning hand to hand and still beat you all," Lance smirked teasingly and hunk laughed as well as Matt.
"Sniper suits you," Matt agreed remembering the battle of the generals.
"Thanks for not letting me die from that lizard girl," hunk patted lances shoulder and lances stomach dropped as he and Lotors smiles fell.
"Yea, Narti defiantly was something," Lance fiddled with his hands on the table but Lotor gently grabbed his hands to stop his fiddling.
"I'm sorry Lance," Lotor told him and Lance nodded.
"I know, it's not your fault, you did what you had to do, we need to move on, we need a plan," Lance looked up to reassure his boyfriend.
"So let's make a plan,"
