General Narration

Optimus kept driving until he reached the hospital. As soon as he did, he activated his holoform and ran into the building making his way to the front desk.

Nurse: "May I help you."

Optimus: "Yes. Uh. Helena Tena."

Nurse: "One moment."

Optimus waited.

Nurse: "I'm sorry sir. She is in critical condition and in surgery. You will have to wait."

Optimus sighed as he went over to the seats. The other soon joined him. Danielle had just gotten of the phone with her father. He too came down to meet them. They got up and went towards them.

Nurse: "I'm sorry y'all have to stay seated."

Sheriff Dan: "It's alright nurse. They're with me."

The Sheriff showed them the way to the operating room as they watched behind a glass.

Danielle: "Oh dear."

Erick: "That man better not show his face again. I know that for a fact."

Nick: "This is just cruel."

Optimus: "Helena"

Optimus whispered to himself as he slumped to his knees. His hands remained on the glass as the doctors worked non-stop.

Optimus: "Where is he!?"

Optimus said in a low and demanding voice. 

Sheriff Dan: "Rick was no where to be found. The house was empty."

Optimus: "How could he leave her there? Then again it wouldn't be a surprise. But then who made the emergency call?"

Sheriff Dan: "My officers are running test on items from the crime scene. We found prints on the phone. They were Rick's."

Erick: "That makes absolutely no damn sense."

Sheriff Dan: "Exactly what I said."

Danielle: "Why would he go through the trouble of nearly killing her just to call the ambulance?"

Sheriff Dan: "That's what were trying to find out."

Optimus looked back into the surgery window and watched as the doctors worked endlessly on Helena. 

8 hours later, 3:00 AM

Optimus P. O. V

I looked around to see my Autobots and the humans asleep. I couldn't sleep at all. I was too worried about Helena.

Ratchet: "Optimus?"

I looked to see Ratchet. He handed me a cup of hot coffee. I took it gratefully.

Ratchet: "I'm not saying it will happen, but you need to expect the worst."

Optimus: "I don't want to even think about it."

Ratchet: "But from what Dr. Raava tells me, she may not make it through the night."

Optimus nodded with a sigh as he waited for the doctors to be done with her.

5:30 AM

Ratchet and Optimus were the only two awake and were on their 6th cup of coffee. Finally Dr. Raava came out, but had a sad frown.

Optimus: "Dr. Raava. Is Helena gonna be okay? Please tell me she's alright."

Dr. Raava said nothing as he sighed. At the time everyone was waking up.

Dr. Raava: "I'm sorry, Orion. We did all we could. But Helena died 5 min ago on the operation table."

Optimus P.O.V

I couldn't believe what i was hearing. Helena. My sweet, sweet Helena. She was gone. At that moment everything just hit me at that moment. All of the time spent together, all of the memories, the feelings. Everything about her. All of the things I would never be able to do with her again.

Erick: "She's.....she's gone?"

Nick: "I never got to say goodbye."

Danielle: "No. She.....she can't be."

Sheriff: "I'm gonna find that bastard."

Danielle cried in her father's arms at the sound of the news.

Optimus: "Where is she? Please let me see her."

I said as I fought the tears and stood up straight. Dr. Raava simply nodded and led me into the morgue. When we got there there was single body on a table covered in a white sheet.

Dr. Raava: "I'll give you sometime."

I said nothing and just stood there. I stared at the motionless body covered in the white sheet. I approached the body slowly and took a deep breath before uncovering it. I sighed at Helena's still form. Her skin was a grayish white color. Her hair that was once a bright blue and red was now dim.

Optimus: "Helena. Please. Don't leave me. I need you. Please Helena. I Love You."

I hung my head as I let the tears just flow from my eyes. I neared my forehead to hers. Her skin was no longer warm. It just reminded me that she was not coming back and I  couldn't bear the thought of it.

Optimus: "Helena. I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have left you alone. Please forgive me for lying to you. I never meant all this harm."

Dr. Raava came in and called out to me saying that is was time to go. I hesitantly got up and followed him out to where the others stood waiting.

A week Later

General Narration

The Autobots stood in their holoforms along with Danielle, Nick, Erick, & Sheriff Dan at Helena's funeral, all but Optimus. 

Jazz: "Where's Prime?"

Nick: "I don't know. I haven't seen him all day."

Ratchet: "Losing Helena took a toll on all of us. Optimus especially. I'm sure he'll come around soon."

Danielle: "He's supposed to be here!"

Danielle said with an angered voice. Sheriff Dan put an arm around her as he tried to calm her down.

Sherriff: "Dani. Give him some time. Optimus loved her the most. Losing her took quite a toll on him."

Danielle sighed as they waited. The preacher came up to them holding a bible.

Preacher: "We can no longer wait for your friend. We must go on."

Everyone sighed and nodded as they took their seats.

Optimus P.O.V

I could hear the preacher already begining to speak. I waited. Everyone was getting up to see Helena for the last goodbye. I had to go in. When everyone sat down I made my way inside. I made my way towards Helena. I could hear the gasps and ohh's from people. I didn't care. I needed to see her....

.........One last time.
