Two Weeks Later

Rick P.O.V

   I sat in my home drinking, just waiting for that little bitch to open that door. If that didn't happen, then that meant she was dead. What does it matter to me? All I could think about was the way I beat her, the screams she produced, and the blood I often drew. It made me laugh.

Helena P.O.V

   Orion's uncle was signing mine and Orion's release forms as he went over them with Dr. Raava. We were finally being discharged from the hospital today.

   "Finally we can have you at home at last, big bro."

   I turned to see Bruce, the youngest of Orion's brothers, hugging him. Orion smiled as he ruffled the boys hair. He was always so kind to his brother.

   "Finally. I was getting bored without you nagging me to clean my quarters."

   Jacob said as he smiled.

   "And did you clean it?"

   Orion asked as Jacob laughed.

   "Nope."

   He said as Orion facepalmed himself and shook his head.

   "Jacob, come on. Give your brother a break. He hasn't even left the hospital yet and your nagging at him already."

   Orion's uncle said as he handed the papers to Dr. Raava.

    "Jacob. I'm warning you. If you don't leave him alone, I'm gonna pound you into the ground."

   Isaiah said as he glared at Jacob.

   "That's if you can catch me, slow poke."

   Jacob teased.

   "What you say punk!?"

    Jacob flinched at Isaiah's outburst. I looked over at Orion and saw he was getting irritated with his brothers.

    "If you guys don't stop your bickering right now, I'm going to pound you both into the ground!!!"

   Orion's threat shut the both of them up as they hid behind their uncle.

General Narration

    Orion glarred at the two as they hid behind their uncle. Without thinking, Helena began to laugh. Orion looked in her direction and smiled. Bruce began to laugh as did Richard and Dr. Raava. Pretty soon everyone in the room began to laugh.

Time skip 8:30pm

Outside the Hospital

    Helena stood outside with Nick, Erick, and Danielle.

   "I never introduced you guys did I, darling?"

    Danielle asked Helena as she realized that she didn't know Nick or Erick.

   "Come to think of it, no. I don't believe we have."

   Helena responded

   "Well Sugar. Meet Erick Lopez, and Nick Ojeda. Boys meet Helena Tena."

   Erick and Nick shook Helena's hand, each introducing themselves.

   "Hi. I'm Erick."

Helena P.O.V

   Erick introduced himself.

   "Nice to meet you Erick."

    He was a boy, who look around the age of 15, was about 5.4 in height, with a muscular build, black hair, light brown eyes, dark skinned, had a black t- shirt, black jeans, and a pair of white Nikes.

   "I'm Nick. Nice to meet you."

   Nick then did the same.

   "Nice to meet you."

   Nick was also a boy, who was also looked around the age of 15, looked like to be about 5.7, with a muscular build, brown hair, a pair of glasses, blue eyes, light skinned, had a brown leather jacket, a dirty shade of green muscle shirt, camouflage pants and a pair of tan colored combat boots.

General Narration

   "So where will you be going, darling?"

   "Home."

   Helena said with a smile. Danielle saw right through her fake smile. But as Optimus had instructed, she was not to breath a word of what she knew.

   "Do you need a ride? Isaiah and I will be happy to take you."

    "Oh no that's fine. Orion is taking me."

   "Ohhh. Someone has a girlfriend."

   Erick teased as Danielle and Nick rolled their eyes.

   "N-No, no! T-That's not it at all."

   Helena said as her cheeks grew bright red. Nick and Danielle saw that and smiled.

   "Erick stop teasing. Look at the poor girl, she's blushing so much."

   Nick said as Helena covered her face and groaned.

   Don't mind them, sugar. They're just messing with you."

   Danielle said with a smile as Helena chuckled nervously.

   "Helena, we're heading out."

   Orion called out as Helena turned and waved him off.

   "Well it was good meeting you, Helena. We'll see you at school."

   Nick said with a smile as he and Erick both gave her a hug.

   "Bye guys. I hope to see you too."

   She said as they both walked over to Bruce and Jazz.

   "Well I hope you feel much better by the time we see each other again, sweetie."

   Danielle said as she aslo hugged her and made her way to Isaiah. Helena smiled as she finally made her way to Orion.

   "Ready to go?"

   He asked.

   "Yes."

   Helena said as Orion handed her the helmet and they boarded his motorcycle.

   "So where to? Are you hungry? I know I am with all that hospital food."

   Helena laughed.

   "You got it. I'm starving."

    Orion chuckled as he drove to the nearest fast food place. They ordered thei food, paid the cashier and drove off to a cliff side with a view of the whole city. Helena got off as she took off her helmet, and starred in awe at the view.

   "Do you like the view?"

   "I'm speechless."

   "I'd knew you'd like it."

   "Orion. How did you know about this place?"

   Orion was silent for a moment.

   "Before my uncle took me in I lived with my older sister, Nalleli."

   Orion sat Helena at the edge of the cliff as they began to eat and as he began to tell his story.

   "I was happy. One day my sister and I had an argument. I wanted to see and to know who my father was. She told me that it was for my own good that I didn't know who he was. I was so naive. I told her I had the right to see my father. I ran out of the house and took off on my father's old bike, that he had left behind. I drove until I stopped and broke down in tears. I stopped here. I cleared my mind and went back home to apologize to my sister. Only to find our home in ruins. My sister was no where to be found. That's when my uncle took me in. I came back here and regretted not being their to protect my sister. It was a little while ago before I met you."

   Helena looked at Orion and didn't know what to say.

   "I'm so sorry to hear that."

   "Thank you."

   Was all he said before taking another bite of his food and finishing it. Helena had aslo finished her food as she placed her trash in the bag.

   "So what about you? Did you ever meet your parents? If you don't mind me asking that is."

   "Not at all."

   She responded as Orion asked.

   "I was happy. I lived with my mom and dad. They died when I was five. They were in a terrible car accident. So terrible they were closed casket. I don't remember much about them. All I remember is my father's bright red hair and his smile and my mother's sweet lullaby that put me to sleep the night before they died. I have a picture of them in my room. That's all I have that connects me to them. When I turned six, Rick took me in and you know where it led from there."

   "Helena. I'm so sorry about your parents."

   "Thank you, Orion.

   "Look at me."

   Helena looked at Orion as he placed his hands on her shoulders.

   "I promise you, that from now on, for as long as you and I live. I'll always be there for you. I promise you, I'll protect you til my last dying breath."

   Helena looked into Orion's eyes and saw sincere truth. No lie was found. She hugged him without warning, suprising Orion for a bit, but not long where he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly.

Helena P.O.V

   I looked into Orion's eyes as he promised to be my protector and found nothing but the truth. I didn't know what came over me, but I hugged him like there was no tomorrow. He hugged me back as tightly as I did and in that moment I felt completely safe. I had no worries. No fear. Just safe. He was my guardian.
