CENTURIES OF WONDERING AND WAITING AROUND seemed a bit much for a goddess, but when one person is immortal and moved on after seeing everyone she loved about dead, it would happen. Hel was a person who lived off of strife, loss, chaos, and on the bringer of death. When Death approached her as a young child, Hel had been innocent, pure, sweet and her smile could turn anyone to do as she asked. But after that one meet, Hel changed. She became more lethal with her smile, her eyes didn't quite reach the smile upon her lips. Her eyes turned black as the darkest of nights, and her black raven hair became longer, longer than your average length, but she did cut it a few times to find her suitable style. She became something darker, more fierce than anyone in her family. She became the goddess of the dead.
Being said, she ruled underneath the waters and the land. She ruled over vampires, zombies, and even some creatures that lived and brought upon the night skies. Not that she was stealing Eve's children, no, it was the opposite. She merely took care of them, like a second figure. Her voice was melodic as an goddess could be, and she wasn't all too innocent then either. But when Hell was created, it was actually because of her that the place was named. She took upon herself to give everyone a place that deemed not too innocent to be placed with gods and goddesses that were pure, or angels that lived for centuries after Hel was born, or to say created. Hell was a safe haven, a place where all monsters could live freely, and all humans wouldn't step forth, until one human did.
That first human had been a man. He had been sinned for the fire that rose upon heavens, and he was placed in a cage, where he couldn't get out. It turned out, that he and his siblings were fighting a war, a war that would have destroyed the entire entity of earth if it hadn't been for God and his sister, Amara. However, now that the war had seemed to be calmed by the storm, Hel was curious about this man. She often went to visit him, and saw that he carried black angel wings, not pure white, but black. The man told her that he had been casted out of Heaven for denying his duty, and denying his destiny that they both knew would soon to follow. That man, was Lucifer.
Time spent with Lucifer, Hel learned a lot from him. She learned about God, and learned of his siblings. Much to Lucifer's dismay, she quite was enthusiastically enthralled by Gabriel, who was a trickster, something that drew Hel in like moth of a flame. Lucifer didn't quite mind Gabriel, he was younger, and Gabriel often stuck out of the fighting between him and their older brother Michael. When Hel learned of Michael, to say she wasn't impressed. She knew of older siblings, having many herself. But she never saw any of them, considering they had been dead centuries before the time period. When she learned of a destined prophecy about Michael and Lucifer inhabiting bodies, that's when Hel started to plan her part.
She didn't quite know how it would turn out, she didn't know if she was able to actually inhabit a body. Hel, being a goddess of the dead, she didn't carry a body, she couldn't, not unless the body was dead, it was a curse placed upon Death when he had visited her that first time, and chose her as a soul to linger on. Hel had tried to plea Death for a human body to have as a meat vessel (as Lucifer called it), but she had been denied every time. When she had asked why, Death had responded. "To be carry on the dead, your body cannot be alive, nor it cannot be in the in-between." To say, Hel was very confused and very conflicted upon his words.
As the day started to ascend, she was turning wheels in her head as she was going over the plan for how to inhabit a human body, specifically a girl. She did have asked Crowley, who at the time was a cross roads demon, but he eventually would become the King of Hell. Her lips twitched at the thought, Crowley becoming a King was fitting, as his Scottish accent was very amusing to her. For some reason, Crowley always seemed to amuse her to no end, and she loved his jokes and bickering. But it was also then, she realized that Crowley was planning something, and what, she did not know.
She entered the thrown room, or more so glided as she was merely a ghost, or one called a soul that had no body. She saw a female standing beside of Crowley, looking intrigued, scared and afraid. Hel rose an eyebrow at Crowley, whom waved her over. "Camryn, darling, this is Hel. Hel, meet Camryn, my newest recruit." Crowley gleefully spoke, his eyes twinkling madly as of discovering a missing puzzle piece that would fit. Hel looked over at Camryn, her lips twitching at the appearance. She quite approved of it, to be honest. Camryn had long brown hair with brown eyes, she wore a leather jacket that was a little bigger, but snug on her. She had a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes, similar to Hel's own reflection, as her eyes never quite reached it either. "So, you're the newest vampire." Hel spoke, walking around Camryn like she was her prey. Crowley watched with amusement and intrigue. He had a plan, and he dare say it involved Hel.
Camryn looked up to see a bodiless soul gliding in, her eyes black as it could be, her hair was raven, dark of night. Camryn felt compelled to answer to her, to see her as a guardian. Camryn blushed at her words, but no pink tint was apparent. Camryn wanted to wake up from a nightmare she seemed to be living in. The last thing Camryn remembered was driving towards Stanford, as she attended college to become a Criminal Scene Investigator, or CSI to be short, but she ended up being attacked by something out in the middle of nowhere in Nevada, having driven southern direction to reach the campus. She remembered the brutal pain and the fire spreading within her body. The next moment she woke, she realized that she was essentially dead, and a demon with yellow eyes had captured her. Camryn was of course, naturally frightened by his appearance, her brain going through thoughts at a mile of a minute. She knew that this was inhumane for her to process, as she deemed to understand that the world isn't all in black or white, but in color. She didn't quite know what to make of the demon that captured and brought her to Hell, where she currently resided. As far as myths went, vampires fed on blood, she knew that since she watched Interview With a Vampire on tv once, however, she didn't necessarily feel the need for bloodlust, no, she felt drawn to the soul standing in front of her, as if wanting to drown herself in it, and use the energy. She didn't quite understand the feelings she was gaining, but she figured that she'd know in due time.
All whilst Camryn busied in her thoughts, Hel watched her from the corner of her eye as she circled her. Yes, she seems worthy. Hel mused in her mind. From just watching her, she knew she was a college student if the shirt underneath had to go by, and she seemed comically smart, knowing her emotions on par. Hel didn't quite understand what Camryn was thinking, not that powerful enough to read minds, no, the brain anatomy was too smart for that, not even an angel could invade ones mind and peek. There was rumors of course of Death divulging into the minds of reapers, but reapers weren't alive, they were simply dead. Hel hummed in thought as she roamed her eyes up and down her body, tilting her head as she nodded. "She seems fitting." Hel murmured, tapping her fingers to her chin. She reached out and was momentarily surprised that for the first time in millennia, she was able to touch a human. Hel had missed the humane side of her, she missed doing human things, like living, eating and interacting with physical activity such as hugging or even touching the body itself. Hel back then soaked up the living gestures she often got from her family, but after the fateful day, it became a curse. Out of the corner of Hel's eyes, she noted that Crowley's eyes had widen, purely out of shock and much to his dismay, confusion etched on his features. Hel quickly recovered and lightly took her finger down the arm of Camryn, and was in awe of how she could physically touch and feel a human—well, dead vampire again, and she took the moment to salvor it, wanting to keep it as a memory forever.
Crowley watched with suspicion and knowing that Hel missed being human, and she longed to be one, once again. Although, he didn't particularly mind her presence, although, being the goddess of the dead really left him no choice but to accept her and keep her in Hell with him. Turned out, he and Hel gotten along famously, and he often gotten more sarcastic than Dean Winchester. Oh, them two brothers never failed to infuriate and cause chaos for him to follow and to find. It had been amusing at first to find them eerily weird and insane, (he can barely stand the tall curly male and despised the other), he find himself growing amused by them. Crowley, in never his time was very bored when it came to the two. He often found himself more annoyed really, but he'd never say it out loud, however, with Hel, it soothed the annoyance and savored the feeling of content, and ironically, the feeling of peace whenever she was around. Crowley often loved the chase, it irked Hel that he played games just to annoy the life out of the brothers. Hel had previously met the short one, Dean as Crowley spoke, even if Dean could not physically see her, but Hel had a brief view of the man. When the taller of the two approached, Hel sensed a longing, a pang of sadness through his heart, and she wondered what caused such emotion. She had a sudden desire to protect the male, make him happy, however, she had no qualms of doing such. To Hel, Dean and Sam Winchester were just average humans who hunted monsters and demons.
Hel stood before Camryn, watching her brown eyes flicker towards the demons surrounding the two, with Crowley on the sidelines. "You won't feel a thing, Camryn. It'll be as if you hear a voice inside your head, only I would be taking over your body." Hel purred lowly, as she watched the teen. She looked to be 22, possibly 21, but no older than 23. She noted the Stanford University sweatshirt that made Hel wrinkle her nose, but her plan had to work perfectly, and she knew that she longed to be in the human world. Before the day started, Hel and Camryn relatively gotten along with one another, spoke to each other, learning about themselves. Camryn was hesitant, of course, but she knew that based by the story Hel spoke of, Camryn couldn't resist to help her. And as a vampire, she would be immortal, and it couldn't hurt to inhabit a another soul inside of her.
When it came to family, Hel understood that Camryn would be leaving hers behind, allowing them to think they were dead. Camryn felt guilty for leaving her siblings behind, knowing that they would miss her, but in reality, since she is considered dead, they would be able to move on a grieve in the loss of her. Hel had seen the emotions varying in her eyes, she knew she was wary, conflicted and lost. She had been the same way as a child when it came to her family. "It's okay, it'll be as if we never left, and we'll check in on them." Hel promised Camryn, who took a deep breath. Camryn closed her eyes as she held last minute thoughts of her own peace of mind. "Okay, do it." She told Hel, who smiled at Camryn wickedly, her eyes blazing like a flame rising above. Hel gently grasped onto Camryn, and allowed herself to be tugged, or more so pulled into her body. Camryn gasped as she felt a burning sensation flowing through her body, as she swayed a bit. From the sidelines, Crowley, and other demons watched with curiosity, horror, yet fascination at watching a soul inhabit a vampire's body. Then it was as if all sudden, Camryn fell to the ground, her eyes fluttering closed as the gliding ghost of Hel disappeared in wisps, inside of one Camryn Scott.
It's been four years later since Hel became essentially Camryn. Since that day, let's just say a demon went after a pair of hunters, one sacrificed himself to not open the gates of hell, but ended up doing so. Logan Campbell eventually realized his girlfriend was missing and ended up with his cousins to find her, in which led to Reagan tagging along with school going on. To say, it's been hell of four years since everything went chaos. Camryn spent most of her time in hell, side by side with Lucifer, whom has been in a cage, and whilst with Crowley, Hel officially had met Dean and Sam, of course hiding from their sight, (being the King of Hell had its perks when cloaking someone), and to say, Camryn knew that she was in too deep to give up on the two. Camryn and hel continued to switch inside the bodies to take over, but the two were more alike then they realized. They had much in common with interests and likes, Hel growing used to human things, that was. Camryn often wondered what Hel would do if she ever had her own body, and to say Hel responded that she didn't know. Crowley of course didn't promise such words, but it made Camryn vow to help Hel redeem herself to be human for once, and in her own body. This led to an adventure, where two brothers, two cousins, and the fun loving uncle searches for the one thing, that puts Lucifer back in a cage.
