Hunter's P.O.V.

"Dom, let's go!" I yell from downstairs ready to go out to the club we opened up specifically for us but to mom and dad, we said that it is our own 'business adventure,' Cloud Nine, is the club's name. 

"Coming!" He yelled back rushing down the stairs, mom came out of her room holding onto Adira. 

"Heading out to the club?" She asked tired Addi was laying on her shoulder probably half asleep. 

"Yeah, I thought we could drop by and see how everything is going."

Mom gave me a blank look, "Don't lie to me Hunter," She said firmly, "Go have fun, just don't drink too much please."

Feeling guilty I quickly step in front of her, "Sorry, I just didn't want you to get mad at me."

"Hunter, if you lie to me I will be mad at you, if you tell me the truth, I won't. Anyways, Vallie and Ocean are going along with you too...apparently, Ocean's friend is coming along with her friends to the club as well. And no I am not purposely sending her to keep an eye on you...you can even ask the two of them."

"I believe you." I say, "How long is it going to take them to get ready?"

"All ready done," Vallie said rushing down the stairs followed by Ocean, "Let's go."

Nodding I kiss mom's cheek, "Bye, well see you later."

Mom gave me a weak smile before heading back inside of her room along with Adira, taking a deep breath I walk out the door behind Vallie, Ocean, and the boys. I hated lying to mom but...I didn't want her to be disappointed in me...I know what she went through, I know she wanted me to turn out differently but life had other plans...

"Which club are we going to?" Vallie asked fixing her top a little, 

"Cloud Nine," I said checking my phone, "Who's joining you two?"

"Um..a friend from college Ronnie, and she's bringing her cousin," Ocean replied not paying much attention, before fixing up her makeup rolling my eyes I look over at Dom who wasn't paying attention to anything we were saying at all. 

"Dom," I whispered nudging him, 

"Yeah?" He asked looking over at me, 

"Did you get the information from Dad that I asked you to? We have a big shipment coming in today..."

Dom nodded, "Uncle Flynn handed me this piece of paper with all the information."

Grabbing the paper from him I look over the information that Dad had handed to him, we had a big shipment of drugs and supplies heading our way from Gramma and Grandpa, that were in Arizona still. Clearing my throat I hide the info from Vallie and Ocean. 

The driver stopped the car for us in front of the club, Vallie and Blue walked out first into the club, they had specifically told us to stay the fuck away from them while they were here. Dom and I shook our heads as we headed over to our private section, I just hope Vallie and Blue don't do anything to mess up our shipment transaction.  Clearing my throat I called the waiter over to bring over some drinks...hopefully, everything goes smoothly tonight. 

Mannat's P.O.V.

"This dress is so annoying Ronnie!" I complain pulling it down for the hundreth time that night, "The driver was staring at my legs the whole time and-" 

Ronnie chuckled, "You look sexy Mahi, that's why he was staring at you the whole time, and stop pulling it down."

"This is not funny!" 

Grabbing my hand she pulled me into the club, Cloud Nine, the funny thing was she was the one who told me to stay away from the Cloud family and now she's the one who's becoming best friends with Hunter's little sister Valencia aka Vallie.  Irritated with my dress I try to keep it under my ass as it loved to rise above it. I am wearing a tight black dress with a deep neck, with some red heels and silver jewelry.

While Ronnie was wearing a white dress that had a plunged neck with slits on the side, purposely showing off her ass, 

"There she is," Ronnie said excitedly pulling me roughly through the crowd behind her, 

"Slow down Ronnie," I say but she doesn't listen. 

"There she is," Pulling me towards the bar she helps me beside her, "Hey Vallie," 

Vallie turned around, she looked absolutely gorgeous making me feel so insecure, Ronnie was known for her beauty around the college while I was known as her cousin, the nerdy one. Vallie looked over at us, "Hey!" She said pulling Ronnie into a hug, "And you must be Cyra! I'm Vallie, and this is my little cousin Ocean."

Ocean smiled at us, "Call me Blue, nice to meet you both."

"Wait," Vallie said look at me carefully, "I've seen you somewhere, but where?"

Clenching my jaw, "Um...I dropped off Adira at your house, the night Hunter didn't come to pick her up. I work at the Day Care."

"Right! Well, I never got to thank you for the night, so thank you."

Smiling I shook my head, "No problem."

Ronnie smiled as well, "Well that's enough talking, here are the drinks?"

Blue giggled, "Waiter!"

Taking a deep breath I try to enjoy my time there with them instead of thinking about Auntie, she had told me not to drink too much otherwise there would be precautions and I had to take care of Ronnie as well. Vallie handed me a beer bottle, smiling at her I take it slowly taking sips of it, I knew Ronnie wouldnt let me go with just one bottle, so I had to pace myself. 

Looking around I begin to admire the club, it was so modern, but at the same time futuristic...it had a weird type of vibe, a sexy vibe.  Vallie, Ronnie, and Blue continue to chat amongst themselves while I zone out not interested in what they were talking about. My eyes kept wandering around humming whenever Ronnie asked or said anything until something caught my eye...more like someone. 

Hunter was sitting on the other side of the club chatting amongst a bunch of girls, with his friend or brother I think Dom...their private booth was filled with girls and booze. I guess this was a typical night for him, away from his responsibility Adira. I wonder how she's doing right now, there's something special about her adorable smile...but why was he was adamant about staying away from her, always so cold towards her. 

I guess I was staring at him a little too long because soon his eyes met mine, my breath hitched I quickly looked away, 'You're so stupid Mahi, I mumbled under my breath hoping he had looked away, sightly glancing back I see Hunter is looking over in my direction, "Great job Mannat, attract a criminals attention, what else do you need?' Quickly downing the bottle I ask for a couple of shots of vodka,  Vallie raised her eyebrow at me, "Wanna dance?"

Clenching my jaw I shake my head, "You guys go I don't dance,"

Ronnie chuckled, "Let's go, watch my purse."

Vallie, Blue, and Ronnie headed out leaving me alone at the bar, don't do anything to attract more attention Mannat, slamming back two shots I quickly chased it with a lemon, the bartender looked at me amazed, "I would slow down,"

"I can handle my alcohol," I say roughly brushing his hand off of mine. "Another beer bottle please,"

The bartender smirked handing me the bottle, "One the house,"

Rolling my eyes I pop it open keeping an eye on Ronnie, "Didn't think you would be the club type," A voice said making my heart skip a beat, keeping a blank face I look over at the owner...Hunter.
