Mannat's P.O.V.

What is he doing here! Pacing around in the bathroom I try to keep him out of my mind, Why would Saber invite him to our family party?! "Mannat?" Ronnie called walking into the bathroom, 

"What is he doing here?" I snapped, "This is our family party, why is Saber inviting the Clouds to our parties?"

Ronnie leaned against the wall, "Why does it bother you?" She asked, 

"It bothers me because I don't want him to get hurt and-"

"Mannat" Ronnie interrupted, "Hunter isn't doing anything other than literally breathing, ever since you two kissed, you have been acting so different. What is going on?"

"I want to stay away from him that's it." I snap, "I don't want anything to do with him or his family...you know exactly why Ronnie."

"Mahi" She tried to reason, "We can't throw them out of the party, and it's been so long since that happened...come on."

"Ronnie!" I protest but there was a knock on the door, "Who is it?" I called out, the person stayed quiet, "Who is it?"

Ronnie sighed walking over to the door to check who it was she gasped, there was a lot of whispering suspicious I took a step closer to the door but I heard the lock click, "Ronnie?"There was no response, "Ronnie,"

"Not Ronnie," Hunter smirked walking closer to me my heart skipped a beat but I crossed my arms raising an eyebrow at him. 

"This is the women's bathroom," I say coldly, "Leave."

"What if I don't want to?" He asked tilting his head to the side slightly walking closer to me clenching my jaw I make a move to slip past him but he grabs my arms backing me up against the counter trapping me against them. "What is your problem?"

"I don't like you. I thought it's pretty straightforward." I try to keep my voice firm but his proximity was slowly beginning to take over my senses, "Now back off."

Hunter chuckling humourlessly leaning closer making me arch my back leaning back, "Why?"

"Because, your dangerous, you're a criminal...you are rude, you are cold-hearted towards your daughter and you treat women like they are garbage. Sleep with them then throws them out the next morning...I don't like boys like that."

Anger swirled in his eyes scaring me a little, he brought his hand up closer to my face gently brushing away some hair from my face leaving a burning sensation, "You think you have me all figured out don't you? I'm dangerous, a criminal, cold-hearted...but I definitely know how to treat woman, and I..." Hunter suddenly lifted me up onto the counter-pressing lower half against mine making me gasp gripping onto his arms, "For sure am not a boy." Letting out a breathy breath I try to compose myself looking up into his eyes, "Feel that?"

Push him away Mahi! Now! Gulping I slide back against the mirror creating some space between us, surprisingly he let me. Hunter smirked brushing the back of his hand against my cheek trailing it down to my neck, down to my collarbones, "Stop," I whispered grabbing his hand peeling it away from my body. 

"Why don't you just give in?" He whispered back massaging my thighs I was struggling to think, I just needed some space but I think he knew If he gave me a second I would run. Hunter's hand slowly began raising closer and closer to my panties, "Just stop thinking, and give in."

"I-I" I stutter, Hunter pulled me back to him by my ankles licking his lips he leaned down hovering his lips near mine, I whimpered out frustration. 

No Mahi, This is wrong..." You and I both know what I won't stop until I get what I want...I can't fucking focus on anything because all I can think about how good you'll feel around me, how good your lips feel on mine, that night at that club I tried to find some other girl, but you were imprinted in my mind...the way you moved, the way you melted in my arms..." Squeezing my eyes shut I tried to block his voice but it didn't work, "Can I please taste you again?"

Fluttering my eyes open I meet Hunter's gaze, "No," I say firmly, "That kiss was a mistake, our meeting was a mistake, stay away from me Hunter." Pushing him roughly away I jump off the counter planning my escape through the door I run but I'm yanked back roughly pushed against the wall but I put up a fight, I couldn't get lost in his touch again. "Let me go!" I snapped pushing against his weight Hunter tried to get my arms under control that was hitting him constantly but I slipped out of his grip each time, "Let me go!" 

"Calm down Mannat" He snapped, "I was just playing with you."

His comment made my anger flare up more, "Let go of my arms, Hunter."

"Mannat!" He yelled scaring me, I froze up pressing my back completely against the wall, "Calm the fuck down." He said firmly glaring at me. "What is your problem?"

"Your dad killed my parents!" I screamed pushing him away, Hunter stumbled back shocked..."It was ruled as a fucking car accident, but he was drunk driving, his car's impact killed both of my parents instantly. I was only 4 Hunter!"

He watched me as my body began to shake with anger, "I hate you! I hate your family! All of you!" I snapped, "I...I grew up without a mom and dad...I never thought that I would ever bump into your family but then your mom came to our Day Care with your daughter, Adira. I had so many things to say but I didn't do anything because my anger locked everything. Then I bumped into your dad the night you forgot to pick her up, one by one all of you entered my life like poison."

Hunter clenched his jaw, " You hate us?"

"I hate you," I confirm breathing heavily

"Even Adira?" That was low, but what else could I expect from him?

"No." I say, "She didn't do anything, she's innocent. I am not like you, who blames the innocent for something they didn't even do anything."

He stepped closer to me again leaning on one arm above my head, "I am sorry for you parents Mannat,"

I keep my harsh gaze on him, " But your family isn't as innocent as you think it is either. Yeah, my dad has done some bad things, yeah I have done some bad things...but we have the courage to say it to the world, we don't hide behind fake honesty and innocence." Hunter leaned away putting his hands up in defense, "Sorry for your loss, I know what it feels like when someone important gets taken away from you suddenly..." 

He began walking towards the door but he stopped suddenly keeping his back to me, "The anger you have against our family is justified, but if you ever even think about putting a hand on my daughter...I will kill you." His tone sent shivers down my back. Storming out of the bathroom he slammed the door shut leaving me alone. I slide down the wall to the ground wiping away my tears...as his words echoed in my ears...he is so confusing.

On one hand, he acts as if he hates the world, hates his daughter, and on the other hand he threatens to hurt anywhere that steps near his daughter...and who did he lose? 

Fuck...Why did I get stuck here?
