Mannat's P.O.V

Is everything ready for Gia Ronnie?" I ask slumping down on my couch, Ronnie nodded exhaustedly she sat down beside me. 

"Yeah," Ronnie sighed, "I am thinking about moving out too...you got any extra room here for me? I need to get away from Mom."

I give her a blank look, "Ronnie,"

"Don't start," She said angrily, "You and I both know she treated you like absolute crap, you didn't deserve half of the stuff she did and said to you. I'm happy that you are here now... I'll miss you Mahi but I am happy you are finally out of her grip."

"Ronnie...I," Inhaling sharply, "I didn't have a mom or dad growing up...Uncle Akash was the closest thing I had...and Aunt Rani well...even though she hated my guts, she gave me a room to sleep in, she gave me food, she couldn't give me a mothers love but she never made me feel that I was less than both of you. Sure she did some cruel things, but at least she gave me a roof to stay under."

"You're too kind of this world Mahi" Ronnie whispered, 

"Mhm," I humm shrugging, "Thank you for helping me."

"Any time," She sighed standing up as the doorbell rang, "That must be Gia."

Smiling I stand up as well greeting Ruby and Gia at the door, Gia smiled holding her suitcase, "Hey Mahi! Guess what?"

"What?" I say taking her things from her motioning for the both of us to come in, 

"I'm staying here with you for a while! It's that amazing, mommy said shell come visit me every night."

I look up at Ruby who was grinning down at her, "That's amazing honey, now go pick ut a bedroom for yourself." Gia ran towards the bedroom dragging Ronnie with her. 

Ruby smiled, "Thank you Mahi you have no idea how much all of this means to me."

"It's not a problem Ruby, you don't need to thank me each time. I love her, and I love you too. I have always said that I have your back if you ever needed help."

"I need to head out, I would stay but I have to wake up early." She said Ruby was acting a little weird. I wanted to ask but she didn't give me the chance, pulling me in a tight hug Ruby whispered, "Take care of my little girl Mahi,"

"I will," I whispered back, Ruby pulled away giving me a sad smile, "Bye."

"Wait," I say, "Aren't you going to say bye to Gia, just wait one second. Gia! Say bye to your mommy."

Ruby looked a little pained Gia came running towards her, Ruby picked her up squeezing her tightly, "Mommy loves you a lot, always remember that okay?"

"I love you too Mommy, forever."

"Forever," Ruby whispered kissing her cheek before letting her down, she was hiding something...but what? "Bye baby."

"Bye Mommy," Gia said hugging my leg sad, Ruby gave her one last look she looked so conflicted, leaning down againRuby took her necklace off that she always wore putting it around her neck. 

"Keep this safe for me,"

Gia nodded, Ruby inhaled sharply before standing up again, "See you tomorrow."

"Bye," I said quietly, Ruby left the apartment leaving me conflicted, something didn't feel right...something was wrong...but what?

Hunter's P.O.V.

"What's up Hunter?" Draven said coming to sit right in front of me, keeping a blank face I keep my eyes on my computer.

"What do you want Draven?" I ask directly, he was very cunning and very manipulative...growing up around him, all of us had learned that just because our gangs had an alliance he was over at least once a month. 

"What I can't just come here?"

I gave him a blank look, "Fine," He sighed, "I needed some help."

"Help with what?"

"There's this guy names Gage Hollaway, from the Philler Gang, he's a fucking pain in the ass. He has been stealing some of the shipment products we have threatened him a couple of times, Uncle Landon even got some guys to beat the shit out of him but he isn't stopping...we think that he is pushing product to another gang that has been developing....um I don't remember the name entirely but I think its starts with an E or something."

Raising an eyebrow, "An E or something? That isn't very helpful and why should I believe you Draven? You've come in here before and given me false information."

"I knew you would say that," He sighed slapping a file down, "This is impacting us and your business. Whoever they are, they know where our shipments are, they take what they need before we can get  there."

Taking the file from the table I look through it, there were camera pictures with people stealing the good we had called in, but all of them are wearing masks...."How long has this been going on?"

"For the past two months," Draven said leaning back in the chair, "I don't remember their name but-"

"Ebony Gang," Dom said walking in, standing beside Draven's chair, "They sent this in the mail today," He threw down a big invitation. 

"What is that?" Draven asked, 

"An invitation," I sighed ripping it open,  "From the Ebony Gang, the leader Saber Ryland has invited the Azar, Hades, Sniper, Philler, and Knights to the big success party..."

"Success for what?" Dom asked 

"Well, we'll find out tomorrow night won't we?"

"You can't be serious." Draven said, "They have been stealing from us-"

"And we have been letting them." I interrupt him, "The Knights haven't feared for no reason Draven, now...you getting your suit ready, or should Dom and I go tomorrow night?"

"I'll come with," He sighed, "Maybe if I see Gage, I can fuck him up there.'

"No," Dom said quickly, "Hunter, shouldn't we ask Uncle Flynn first?"

"I'll talk to him, Draven go tell Arlo too...I'll send a car over to pick you up tomorrow."

Draven got up, "I'm liking this trio already," Backing out of the room, he shut the door behind him...

"I'll be back," I say quickly walking over to Dad's office, "Dad?"

"Come in,"

Walking into his room I sit down, "Dad, I have some information."

"Information?"

I put the invitation in front of him, "There is another Gang uprising, the Ebony." Dad took the innovation reading it over, "They have been stealing our goods too, Draven has been on the job, he has a suspect too a guy names Gage Hollaway,"

"Gage Hollaway?" Dad pipped up, "But he's one of the loyal ones. He's Landon's cousin's kid."

"I don't know, Draven said that Gage is in charge of most of the stuff, and Landon has punished him a couple of times already but he doesn't stop."

Dad exhaled deeply, "Go to the party, see what we are dealing with, but tonight read up on Gage Hollaway and the new Leader of the Ebony's Saber Ryland."

"Alright, Draven, Dom, and I will go tomorrow night."

"Sounds good, and Hunter?" Dad called as I began to walk out, "Please go pick Addi up, it's almost 7:00."

Shit. "Going right now," I say quickly running out the door, grabbing my keys...Fuck, it takes 15 minutes to get there and Mannat has been a bitch lately ever since we kissed. I don't get her attitude...whatever.  Speeding all the way over to the Day Care I get there a minute before 7, "I'm here." I announce to see Addi playing with Ronnie...I think. Wait where is Cyra? Addi looks over at me. 

Ronnie stands up, "Right on time," She says impressed. "Here is your parcel." Ronnie handed Adira's hand in mine, as Addi giggled at the new stuffie she had in her hand. 

"Thank you," I say, "Where did she get that toy?"

"Mannat gave it to me Daddy." Addi said smiling holding it out to show me. Mannat? Nodding I take it from her so I can lift her up in my arms before handing it back to her. 

Ronnie raised her eyebrow at me, "Are you looking for someone?"

I shake my head, "No, I'll drop her off tomorrow at the same time,"

"Actually, sorry but we are closed tomorrow," Ronnie said quickly, 

"Why?"

"Family Stuff, no one will be able to come here tomorrow."  Not even Mannat? Wait why am I thinking about her?

"Right, have a good night." I say before walking out with Aidra in my arms, "Was Mannat here today Adira?"

"She was, but she left early today...Ronnie stayed the whole day though. I didn't see Gia either."

"Gia?"

"Gia, she's my best friend Daddy, she is so nice and she plays with me." Adira continued talking but my mind paced out. Was she avoiding me? no, she couldn't have been avoiding me, I saw her yesterday...I shake my head, why do I care! I have other things to worry about at the moment...right now I need to deal with the Ebony Gang....and see what the fuck they want.
