Hunter's P.O.V.

I stood at the bar watching her storm out of the club, what the fuck? No girl has ever done that to me...No one has ever said NO to me. Vallie came stumbling over to me followed by Blue, "Well, you two were having fun." She said smirking at me taking a drink from Mannat's left over a bottle

"To bad to left you with blue balls," Blue giggled, 

Glaring at them I snatched the bottle out of her grip, Vallie shrugged jumping up on the counter, "Not everyone wants to sleep with Hunter, some girls have dignity and brain."

"I have dignity and a brain." Her voice rang in my ears

Rolling my eyes I lean against the counter, "Whatever, I'll find someone else. I'm Hunter Cloud, everyone wants me."

Blue shook her head, "And that's the exact reason why she didn't want you." Vallie giggled, "It was pretty funny to watch. 

"Ha. Ha. Ha." I said blankly, "Fuck off both of you."  I was about to walk away but Vallie grabbed onto my shoulders. 

"Use your brain Hunter, she's a simple innocent girl who helps her uncle and Aunt run a daycare...she's not going to want to get involved with you because YOU are the Heir of the Knights idiot."

Shrugging her hands off of me I turn around to face her, "You two are talking like I wanted to marry her, I wanted one night that's all. I don't give a fuck about her or the stupid daycare she runs. Now leave me alone so I can find another girl."

"I'm afraid not." Dom said patting my shoulder, "We have a business to take care of, Vallie and Blue go home. There is a car waiting for you outside."

Blue sighed taking Vallie's hand, "Be careful,"

Dom nodded gesturing to the back, taking a bottle I follow him to the back. I sent a security guard back home with the girls before putting a blank face heading into the delivery room where the stupid rodents were waiting for us....the Azar Gang...aka Amora and Arlo's dumbass offspring...Draven. 

"What are you doing here Draven?" I ask tired of his shit, "This is our delivery, you don't get shit."

Draven smirked, "The delivery gets split into shares,"

"No, it doesnt." I snapped, "The Alpha has agreed to give protection that enough you fucking idiot, now get the fuck out of my face."

Squinting his eyes at me he tilted his head to the side, "See, I think your dad I mean the great Alpha forgot to mention some very important information with you...or maybe he did and you were just too hungover to remember."

"Get to the point." Dom snapped, 

"We get 10 percent in deliveries,"

Clenching my jaw I call Dad, "Yep,"

"Does the Hades/Sniper gang get 10 percent of our delivers? Draven is here, and he is getting on my fucking nerve."

Dad sighed over the phone, "Give Draven the phone Hunter, I have told Amora to keep that boy of a fucking leash." Throwing my phone over to him I wait for them to finish.

Draven's face fell, "Don't tell Arlo," He said quickly, "Fine, I'll stay at 5." Hanging up the phone Draven throws the phone back, "5 percent."

Dom smirked, "Sounds a bit better doesnt it, Hunter?"

"Way better."

Unwillingly Draven helped us stock the material before talking five percent in his own van...for the past 15 years, the Azar Gang and the Knights have been on good terms, but that doesnt mean we exactly liked them. Amora, Arlo, and Draven were a fucking nonsense, and Mom? Mom and Amora hated each other but for the sake of the Gang, Mom tolerates her. Draven wasn't that bad....but Arlo made him annoying him like him. 

Taking a deep breath we finish everything up before heading our own way, Dom went down to the dance floor while I stayed at our booth thinking....thinking about her...

Lydia's P.O.V.

"Mom?" Vallie called out, "Mom, where are you?" Patting Addi back to sleep I sneak out of the room walking downstairs. 

"Vallie, don't yell." Blue was standing right beside her smiling. Confused I sit them down, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing is wrong Aunt Dia, something right is finally happening." Blue said excitedly she grabbed my hands, "You know that miracle you've been waiting for the past two years?"

"Mhm?"

"Hunter bumped into her tonight," Vallie cut in, "It's the girl, from the daycare...Fuck, what's her name?"

"Mannat?" I ask,

"Mannat!" She confirmed, "Mannat, she's the one."

"How are you two so confident about that? She is so innocent and-"

"Exactly mom!" Vallie said, "She's innocent and quiet but when it comes to Hunter it's the complete opposite. Mannat is scared, but she's not afraid to stand for something right, she shits him up...she doesn't fall for his stupid tricks and tonight at the club...." Vallie and Blue told me everything...Mannat and Hunter... "And mom she adores Adira, and you know how much Addi adores her."

I wanted to believe them...but I needed to see it with my own eyes, if Mannat can help him it would be amazing...but I don't want to ruin her life for my own selfish reasons...for our own needs. 

Hunter is like Flynn, an exact copy...this is going to take a lot more than two or three meets unless...maybe Adira could be the reason they get closer to one another...the attraction is obviously there, but feelings are yet to be developed.
