Fawkes: Hedwig, you drama queen, are you alright now?

Hedwig: No! I'm sitting here with a broken toe, thanks to Salazar, Draco Malfoy's owl! And Harry still hasn't put me in his room and Salazar hasn't got any punishment! (sobs)

Salazar: I'm going to get your eye soon, Hedwig! 

Hedwig: NOOOOOOO! If you even try to do that I'll get Harry to snatch any lollies you are carrying to Draco and eat them all himself! (thinking: Or I could do it myself, hehe)

Harry: I'd really like it if Hedwig could steal those lollies... Wait, I have a great idea! If you, Hedwig, can steal the sweets from Salazar every day for a week, I'll let you stay inside my room instead of the owlery! Deal?

Fawkes: That's a good deal, but come on, give her a break from Salazar. She won't want to confront him again. 

Hedwig: No, I'll do it! I'll be brave like a Gryffindor!

Fawkes (thinking: Don't have too much pride, Hedwig. Salazar might hurt you again...) Look, Harry, I need to have a chat to Hedwig about this. Could you please leave now?)

Harry: Just don't be too long talking, okay? 

Harry Potter has left this chat. He is pleased that he didn't get told to buzz off in a mean way. 

Fawkes: Hedwig, if you try to steal Draco's sweets for the reward of staying in the Gryffindor tower, his owl might hurt you really badly! Isn't there anything else you can do? 

Hedwig: Salazar can attack me in the owlery too! Oh, Fawkes what will I do??

Fawkes: Well, I could ask Dumbledore if I could stay in the owlery with you until Salazar stops his bullying. I'll protect you from him. I know it's not as good as staying with Harry but at least Salazar can't attack you if I'm there. 

Hedwig: I hope the headmaster will let you stay with me! 

Fawkes: I'm sure he will.  (thinking: But what if he doesn't? Will Harry let Hedwig stay in his room without getting her to getting her to steal lollies?)
