Sonic's pov
I'm guessing after reading the title your pretty confused huh? Well. I guess i should tell you what happened, how i became seperated from my brothers.

A year after we helped the firefighters, things were going really well, news of what happened had spread like well, a fire. The students stopped trying to challenge us. We sort of changed, none of us three found clothes as practical, we at least wore pants, but since we had fur, we weren't as worried.
We got firefighter masks, so that we didn't get smoke inhalation like the first time, we were even trained by them as vollenteer firefighters.
Until.... GUN came back.
The day had started out as normal, i get up, pull on my shorts, socks, sneakers and gloves.
The other two did the same, Silver snapping on his golden bracelets, which Sahara had her friend make when Silver started levitating things in his sleep. He never wore them to bed, but wearing them in the day had helped him stop levitating anything not nailed down at night.
We head to school, the day went as usual.
We head to leave, when we see a familiar white van out in the parking lot. All 3 of us instantly tense up and silver rises up, only for us to feel his connection cut off when a dart hits him in the neck and Silver collapses.
"Silver!" I cry out as i catch him, only to hear Shadow collapse, 3 in him. I dodge the first couple of darts, only for one to hit me in the leg and it become jelly, and another hits me in the neck and i pass out next to my brothers.

Now this part gets confusing, but i didn't get to feel Shadow for a long time after that day, let me tell you what i woke up to.
I sit up, gasping and panting, my whole body numb, but my head felt like it was on fire. Shadow's connection was numb as i cry out in my head.
| Shadow, Silver?! Where are you guys?!|
Silver's mind tried to stretch to mine, but i couldn't fully reach. Around me, a beautiful plains of green hills roll around me. I can't reach my brothers. I can't feel them as strongly as i once had. I definitely wasn't home anymore.

Silver's pov
When i wake up, all i could feel was the heat. My whole body felt like i had been thrown in a oven and left to burn. I sit up and open my eyes. All i could do was gasp.
The sky was black, but it wasn't nighttime. At least, i think it wasn't. Skyscrapers laid broken everywhere, the asphalt below me a few degrees from melting as massive cracks with magma erupt from the earth.
Where am i? Is sonic here?!
I could feel him calling me. I try to reach out to him, but it's like my mind just couldn't find his. He's not here at least.
I kinda wish he was though. I would likely have to fly far to find any sort of shelter from the sweltering heat.
May as well get started.
Sonic's pov
I pant as i look around. Focus. Calm down, just like they taught you.
Ok, time to find out where i am. I lower into a running position before taking off at breakneck speeds. I soon find a road and zoom down it, slowing down as i near town, and my ears flick forward as i hear sounds of distress. Without stopping i keep zooming toward a pair of wolves, tormenting a little fox with an extra tail. Not on my watch. I speed up briefly and blow them away. The fox gasps as i zip around in a circle before stopping, tapping my foot fast like i'm just bored of this.
They glare at me, but turn and leave. A smirk and i rub my finger under my nose cause it was itchy, but with how i held myself, it doubled as a silent taunt.
The fox comes over and i smile kindly to them, before zooming off at a lazy pace. I still wanted to find a map store or something to learn where i was, and where my brothers might be.
But as i ran, i heard a weird sound, and i look behind me, nothing, i look up, nothing, behind and above?
Whoa- that fox kid, using his tails, could straight up fly, and he was keeping up with me. I slow to a stop and he softly lands, panting hard.
"Hey there hedgehog, thanks for the help back there."
"No problem, i'm Sonic, what's your name?"
"Miles, but call me Tails."
I smile, the way he acted reminded me of Silver, always nervous and unsure.
"Well Tails, would you be able to tell me where i am? I'm looking for some people, but i don't even know where i am, much less where they could be."
Tails nods and we walk away from town, Tails showing me around.
As we were walking, i hear a whiring noise and i see tails instantly perk up and tense.
"What's wrong?"
"The Robots everywhere, they've been hurting anyone they come across."
"Hmmmm, i have an idea, lets find some of the robots."
Tails looks at me like i'm crazy, but i smirk confidently.
"Trust me Tails. I'm used to helping people out of fires, some robots should be no sweat!"
He looks at me in confusion, and i say.
"It was sort of my job back where i came from. Just trust me"
I start running at slowish speeds so tails could keep up, listening for the whirring sound until i come across a red mantis-like robot. Smirking, i focus, and i burst into a full run, curling mid run and i smash the bot easily under my quills. Heh. This was gonna be easy. More bots came, and i smashed them up. It was barely a fight. Tails watched, and once i was done, cheered and hugged me tightly. I smile and i hug Tails. I would find my brothers, but right now, this kit needed me. I would protect him.
